Acrobat X Suite is out!
Direct links to Windows trial version:
« see above »
Hi nocturnal, thank you for the heads-up. We just got the same notice from Adobe, the Acrobat Suite was released this morning. Appreciate it!
Thanks for the direct download links – that DL manager @ adobe is freaking annoying
I need Acrobat STANDARD 10. But can only find the download files for PRO.
The license i have is Standard.
Hello Shah, thanks for your question. As far as we are aware, there is no separate trial download for Adobe Acrobat X Standard – but if you enter your serial key for Standard into the product download above, you might get the Standard version and (subset) features… Hope this helps.
Adobe Reader X MUI (Multilingual User Interface) is available at
program:

Terrific negotio – thanks so much for posting and sharing those links!
Install French, German, and Spanish simultaneously, and then switch among them using the Adobe Multilingual User Interface (MUI). The user interface also changes to the appropriate language on-the-fly.
Adobe Reader 10.1 MUI – Multilingual User Interface (full setup) is now available at:
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5141
Update to 10.1 MUI can be found at:

Wonderful – thank you so much for updating those links here, Negotio!
I can’t seem to find a direct download link for Acrobat X Suite for MAC OS… Does Acrobat X Suite run on both Windows or Mac? TY
Unfortunately Sal, right now, the new Acrobat X Suite is for Windows only… not all of the component applications within the suite run on the Mac.
See the full system requirements and included programs.
If you instead were looking for Acrobat X by itself on the Mac, the full product is definitely available – but unfortunately not a trial version.

Adobe has published a new Update to 10.1.2
The WIN MUI Update can be found at:

Thank you very much negotio for keeping those updated!
suggestion – could we have some kind of link that points to the most up-to-date version of the software, like what mozilla does for firefox – the latest version of firefox for windows english us is located at http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/latest/…
then i could use wget to download this automatically when needed.
That’s a great idea Mark – we’re going to look into doing that… Thanks for the thought!
Where is the download for Acrobat 9 Pro Mac version? I only see one for Windows. I desperately need it. Thank you,
Hi Jafet, thanks for your question. For the answer, please see Sal’s comment and response above.
thanks mucho, mucho for the direct download links. i wasn’t getting anywhere at the adobe site. the page would come up but at the bottom it always said, ‘done but with errors’. sometimes you can still get it to work, but most of the time not.
sincerely,
elaine haas
That’s great Elaine, and not uncommon – glad to hear it worked out for you, and thanks for letting us know!
This would be cool if it worked. I keep receiving Access Denied to the Acrobat 9 Pro.
This shouldn’t be difficult, but then again, it is Adobe, and that’s the way they like it.
Hi jbinaz, it all does work fine – you just have to carefully follow the download instructions given in the article above, thanks.
That should take care of it for you. But if still no luck for some reason, then clear your browser cache & cookies and try again – or try a different browser, computer, and/or Internet connection (no Wi-Fi).
your links for acrobat reader x are correct – but when we click them, or even right-click save as, there is no extension. we have to manually add the .exe at the end – why is that?
i didnt see that anywhere in the download instructions – it’s obvious for many people but some people won’t understand that needs to be done
Hey Byron, that does happen from time to time for some visitors who use Internet Explorer… There should be a mention of it in the article above. Thanks for your comment.
As of 5 August, the Acrobat Reader X ‘direct download’ links (all 3 languages) above just redirect back to https://prodesigntools.com/ instead of an actual download
Sorry about that Bryon… The link was getting a 404 and it redirected to our home page… but we just reestablished the links to the latest files on Adobe’s servers and now all the direct downloads here are working again, for both Acrobat Pro/Standard and the Reader.
Thanks for the heads-up, appreciate that! You should be good now.
@ ProDesignTools
Thanks for doing what you do – it’s so annoying that Adobe would have people jump thru so many hoops to get their free Reader product. I google for “acrobat reader x direct download prodesigntools” several times per day when i have a machine that needs it installed. If only there were a memorable, easier way to get to your page :)
Hey, wow – thanks! That’s really gratifying to hear, glad to know some folks are finding benefit in this…
As for shorter search terms, you might try this?
“acrobat x ddl”
Thanks again for the kind words!
Oh nice, I’ll do that since you’re currently ranked higher than thepiratebay – I was afraid that DDL would result in too much junk warez/torrent stuff.
PD – this site is awesome. A needed service because Adobe’s attempts are pathetic.
Regarding Acrobat X Standard – NO. The Pro version trial will NOT accept an X Standard key. I have several licenses for X Std and no media… and nobody has any answers! I purchase my Acrobat through Dell and they are not offering a setup either… major fail!
I’m currently trying to figure it out here:
https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1072088
Thanks for the props Colin. Very sorry to hear of your troubles – and also very surprised that Dell didn’t give you a backup disc with the Acrobat X pre-installation they sold you… That really seems like their responsibility – otherwise how could you ever reinstall the software after a system upgrade or crash? The same goes for the Office 2003 Professional they sold you.
They are the resellers here, but only gave you half of a permanent solution. Are you certain you have no recourse or other options with Dell?
Oops, I meant Office 2010 earlier… but either way…
They used to send media with Acrobat 9 purchases. X introduced just the license card.
My Office 2010 orders have always been just a license card as well. I have a CD copy of it however so I can reinstall it. This is incredibly frustrating. I can’t even find a torrent for the Acrobat X Std. setup :[
I feel like both companies should be offering the software to me. What’s the point of managing licenses via licensing services and then also holding back the software from the customer?
Something went wrong somewhere Colin – and it sounds like Dell’s issue. A license card by itself is never enough if all you have is preinstalled software. There’s no way to move or reinstall the application, ever – you’re completely locked in. Dell was the vendor, and they needed to provide you a backup disc or installation files for the product that you bought from them. Adobe always does this with their own direct purchases.
Adobe software torrents? Do not trust, avoid at all costs.
Maybe Adobe Customer Service can pitch in to help you out as a courtesy, but it’s not their sale.
Figured I should follow up – I found that setup files are included in the /program files (x86)/ folder for Adobe. Even though it’s fully installed upon delivery.
Thanks for the support and great site~
cheers
Great, glad to hear it Colin – we knew there simply had to be more to the story! Otherwise there was no way they could make that sale.
Note to Dell: Make sure your customers know where their installation package lives, and tell them when they call if they don’t.
@ Noname
Completely agree the Adobe Download Manager is a pain. I just wanted the EXE so I can lug it around on my USB.
By the way the latest version of Adobe Reader X is 10.1.4. You can find the latest version always at ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/10.x/
Do not forget, that these updates always require the base version 10.1.0 (see ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/10.x/10.1.0/misc/)
Thanks Negotio!
The Adobe X Pro trials are no longer available? You should support all of your products, given most people still use it.
What do you mean Merols? The Acrobat X free trials are still available via the direct download links just above.
Hello ProDesign,
The links are not working :(
Can we have a working link for this?
Hi Beta, just tested and all the Adobe Acrobat direct download links above are working fine for us…
Just make sure you are carefully following the instructions given in the article.
