awesome, thanx !
hello, I want to know the price of the suite cs 5.5 for Education Network, thanks
Sure Mario, but it depends on which CS5.5 suite you want – there are five different editions available for students… You can check the prices and make your choice at the Adobe Education Store.
Hi
I’m based in the UK and am wondering if I can legally buy the 50% discounted version of Adobe Web Premium from the US. Thanks
Hi Bobby, unless you are a resident of North America (with shipping and billing addresses within), the Adobe store in that geography is unlikely to be available to you…
You could try entering Adobe through the link in the article above and then switch your store over to the U.K., or try entering the coupon code manually, but it probably won’t work.
Sorry if this is a dumb question – the rules say does not apply to OEM version – does that mean a volume license? If not will it apply to a volume license?
Good question Ronald – often volume licensees are excluded from these sorts of deep-discount offers so we suspect it’s not applicable – but then again, the terms and conditions (linked above) for either promotion don’t explicitly exclude it, so you could give it a shot in the Adobe Volume Store and see what happens…
They do both say, “savings are limited to one discount per customer.”
@ProDesignTools
Thank you for very much for your answer and for a great forum. I have family in the US who would be willing to buy the software for me and then send it to me in the UK. Do you know if that would work? Would they be able to buy it my name and have it registered in my name. I guess the software would have to be activated in the US so would I then be able to use it over here?
Those are questions we actually can’t answer for you Bobby – you’d have to contact Adobe directly to see what might work… thanks.
Ok. Thanks for your help
This looks like a great deal, but one question about CS6- which is due out in the middle of the year according to your site: What’s Adobe’s policy on upgrades- if we buy this now and they publish CS6 from anywhere from April to June will we have to pay the full upgrade price for CS6?
Thanks for your help.
That’s a great question Moldy – and here’s our answer on that.
Gah!!!.. Missed it by 3 days….
@ Matt
I missed it too – but if you have CS3 or CS4 and want to upgrade, the 20% upgrade offer actually worked out better for me than the half price deal on full, so you might want to check it out.
