why does it keep saying “access denied on this server”?
Hi Asher, that’s because you have to carefully follow the important download instructions before you click any of the CS6 direct links, otherwise Adobe’s servers will give you that message instead… (sorry, not up to us!)
If you have any difficulties after doing that, then try a different web browser, another computer, or Internet connection.
Also, make sure you’re not blocking or filtering anything with your browser(s) – like cookies, downloads, or any sites or URLs – or running blocking utilities like Ghostery, AdBlock, or Disconnect. Adobe recommends temporarily turning those things off (including antivirus, firewalls, etc. – it’s the first step in those directions above). Some third-party download managers or other utilities may also interfere with the process.
If you’re still stuck, check out this list of download tips we put together to help.
Then to complete the installation, you must have Administrator privileges on your computer, plus your security software must allow you to install programs.
@ProDesignTools
Thank you for the link. Everything works fine!
It’s a trial, it’s not forever
So, I am following your instructions to the letter. I have clicked the link and signed in with my free adobe account. I have cleared my cache in all three browsers that I have tried this in, and re-signed in to my adobe account, and still am not able to download any of your links. I am not getting an access denied message, just a “File could not be downloaded” message. Not sure what the next step is here.
Hey there John, sorry you’re having difficulties… Glad you’ve followed the download directions carefully. We’ve never heard that message before, so it sounds like it may be something in the software running on your system… Have you checked out some of the suggestions we made in our reply above to Asher?
Well I just kept trying it, and all of the sudden it worked. Maybe a server glitch or something.. Installing now. Thanks for getting back so quick..
Great – glad to hear it John, and thanks for letting us know!
hey, i downloaded both the .exe and .7z files and put them in a same folder. But i still can’t install it, as it pops out a window stated, “a problem occurred while extracting some files. Check available space on your computer and the write privileges on the destination folder.” I totally have no idea what i should do.
Sometimes it also will pop out a window stating, “the file archive part of Adobe premiere Pro CS6 is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe premiere Pro Cs6. Please download all parts.”
I even tried to download the 2 files (.exe & .7z) by using chrome or firefox.
Welcome Elaine, please try stepping through our suggestions here and see if that helps.
I have CS5, but need to download CS 6 trial for a Photoshop class. Can I download it and keep my CS5?
Yes Roberta – with CS (Creative Suite) and CC (Creative Cloud), you should be able to install and run multiple different versions on the same computer without difficulty, and you can use them independently side-by-side.
Apparently, I have to use Device Central and can’t figure out how to make it work. Any suggestions? It says it was discontinued on the internet.
Well, Device Central was discontinued by Adobe in April 2012 – so that was just before CS6 was released…
Device Central was included with earlier Creative Suite editions, and that ended with Adobe CS5.5.
Urgent.
I cant open my NEF file from NIKON D610 with my Photoshop CS5 and CS3.
Is it necessary to download a plugin?
Can you give me the link?
Hello Sam, support for the Nikon D610 was added to Adobe Camera Raw 8.3 and Lightroom 5.3, which were released in December 2013…
CS3 and CS5 of course came out long before that. So, upgrading your older software to the latest versions (to CS6 or CC with the $9.99 PS Photography Plan) would definitely support that and other recent cameras.
But even if you don’t upgrade, note that Adobe provides free ongoing camera compatibility for previous versions of all Photoshop & Lightroom products via the DNG Converter utility.
What does that mean? Well, you can also use the free Adobe DNG Converter Tool for support of the Nikon D610 (or any other available camera) in older programs like Photoshop CS5 and CS3.
Otherwise as mentioned, all current software releases support this new camera natively.
Hope that helps!
installed Windows … so my previous software no longer on pc… still getting the mso of ‘Adobe Genuine Verification Failed’

Works nice
hello,
If I download for example cs6 prelude or audition, will it be the 64bit or the 32bit version of the applications?
Hey Pete, it depends on the tool… In CS6, Prelude and Audition are 32-bit applications. Audition became 64-bit-only with the CC version in 2013.
For the rest, the CS6 downloads are either 32-bit, 64-bit, or available in either architecture via a single installer file… Only After Effects, Premiere Pro and SpeedGrade are 64-bit-only in CS6.
For more details, please see the complete set of system requirements for Creative Suite 6.
thanks for the answer. ok, so the installer asks me if i want to run the other programs as 32bit or 64bit?
Sure, just choose whichever type of system you have. Generally if you have a 64-bit computer then you would choose 64-bit applications (where possible) for best performance.
[For anyone who is unsure, see this page from Microsoft for how to determine which type of system you are running, whether 32-bit or 64-bit.]
is this just a trial? if so, why should i download it from here?
This is the original, complete set of direct download links to the authentic Adobe CS6 product installers. They default to install as free trials (for up to 60 days), but if you own a valid purchased serial key, then they will activate for perpetual use.
Hello, I’m trying to download Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, using the English version for Windows. My OS is Windows 8.0.
I downloaded the .exe file but when I tried to open it, it displayed an error message that said: “The file archive part of Adobe Premier Pro CS6 is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe Premier Pro CS6. Please download all parts.”
I assumed that I needed to download File 2, which is the 7-Zip file, so I did that. However, the 7-Zip simply won’t download. It shows up on the download queue, but that’s it, it doesn’t download a single bit. The estimated download time fluctuates from 2 hours to 3 hours to 4, and that’s all that happens.
I don’t know why this is occurring. I signed up for the Adobe ID and followed all the instructions. What happened?
Not sure Angela, but you definitely need that second (.7z) file on Windows – it’s the compressed archive where the program installer actually resides…
Did you try with a different web browser (like Firefox or Chrome), another computer, or a different Internet connection? If possible, use a wired (cable) connection, as it’s generally faster and more reliable than wireless (Wi-Fi).
hi guys, brother needs help here. I just downloaded the illustrator trial now but it does not install – it says, network connection problem. so what do u think seems be the problem, besides network ’cause it’s covered.
What is the exact error message? It would help to know that.
Also, did you try a different web browser (like Firefox or Chrome), another computer, or a different Internet connection? If possible, use a wired (cable) connection, as it’s generally faster and more reliable than wireless (Wi-Fi).
Otherwise, we’d suggest taking a look through this list of download tips we put together. Most folks that have any difficulties find their solution there.
Are your adobe download links activated or are they just trials? What is the best and the cheapest way to activate the adobe products? They are way too expensive to buy.
They’re all the legal and safe free trials – but if the full versions cost too much for you, then you can get CC (the latest and greatest release) instead…
You can purchase CC for as little as $9.99 a month, which compares to paying over $1,000 to buy CS6.
I read the instructions, I have tried downloading the cs6 for the course. I currently use cs4. I have clicked on windows cs6 file 1 and 2 and downloaded them. I have went through my downloads, trial downloads. I am not getting an error, but I am also not getting anything else. This is very frustrating!!!
Hey Brit, what happens when you open or double-click File 1? (to start the installation process)
thanks for the answer. ok, so the installer asks me if i want to run the other programs as 32bit or 64bit?
Yes, for the universal installers such as Photoshop CS6 on a PC, you can install one or the other, or both (if you really want).
Here is more information for both Windows and Mac OS:
64-bit or 32-bit Versions: What Does Adobe CC/CS6/CS5/CS4 Install?
Hope that helps!
@ProDesignTools
It tells me I do not have permission to access this.
Sorry, we mean: what is the exact message? (word-for-word)
cs6 is very very good for me
I have downloaded the files for Master Collection a few times, and every time it won’t unzip. I followed the download directions and it fails to extract.
“Error: A problem occurred while extracting some files. Check available space on your computer and the write privileges on the destination folder.”
Even trying to extract on my own, there is about 800+ corrupt files.
Hi Cody, sorry you’re having difficulties. For that message regarding write privileges, see this previous discussion for some advice.
I downloaded photoshop 13 LS_16. I cannot figure out what to do next. When I click on the icon, I’m asked what program to use to open it. I tried Adobe, but I got an error message.
What program do I use to open photoshop CS 6? Help!
Hello Shelly, guessing that your web browser may have dropped a file extension(s) when downloading… That happens sometimes, especially when using IE (Internet Explorer).
If there’s no longer an extension, then your computer wouldn’t know how to open/process the files.
So on Windows, make sure the first (small) file has a .exe extension and the second (large) file has a .7z extension. If not, then just rename the file(s) to add back the extension(s) at the end, and you should then be able to proceed from there.
My .7z file came down as a .txt file what should i do?
Just rename it appropriately, and it’s fine.
