hi there,
I did something stupid, created my resume in an InDesign CS4 trial. I can’t afford at the moment to buy the full software. I was wondering if it is possible to open it up and convert the file in PDF Converter as I saved it as a PDF? Will I be able to change the text?
Please any other cheap software which will allow me to change the text content PDF or convert the file to a Microsoft Word document without alterating the format or layout. thank you
Hey there Alex, it should be no problem for you… You could just download the free trial of Acrobat X Pro, which does very good PDF to Word conversions, preserving the look and layout.
Or, if your file happened to have been saved in InDesign format (.INDD), you could instead use a CS5.5 trial to convert it into RTF (Rich Text Format), which can easily be read by Word.
Hope this helps!
@ProDesignTools
Thanks for answering, I need the entire CS3 suite trial. Tried to download it, but it is huge and my connection is not stable.
Hello again Raphael, downloading directly from Adobe’s servers via the links above is the only way you can get it here… It is not allowed by Adobe to copy or provide the files in any other fashion.
Maybe you can find yourself a faster and more reliable Internet connection?
Link doesnt work. When i download, i get dlm.html
Hi Kajang, please make sure you’re carefully following the download instructions given in the article; also see these comments for further tips.
i can’t download. can anybody help me how to download the file? i have to use After Effect CS4 for do work to send my teacher
Greetings gap, have you carefully followed the instructions in the article, and read through the comments helping others above?
I want to upgrade from MX 2004 to CS3, what files do I need
Welcome bluespro, these are not upgrade versions here – these are all (only) trial versions, each of which is fully-contained for the product you want to download and try out.
Hi, I do have same problem – my installation disk is lost.
I follow the link, but there’s no CS4 on the download list. only CS5. Pls help me.
Thanks.
Hey there Alvin, sorry to hear that but sometimes folks do have these types of problems with Adobe’s site…
Try waiting a little while and then read Kate’s earlier comments, the things she tried, and the series of replies which follow – and hopefully that will help you get past that.
@ProDesignTools –
hi, i can download the programs. thank you so much for the answer
Hi there. I’ve downloaded the file and used the extractor and installed the program, but I can’t get it to start up. When I click on the program, it does not open up. However, “Indesign.exe” does show up in processes… I’ve tried reinstalling, but that doesn’t work either. I am using Windows 7. Thanks in advance for any help.
Very very strange… Never heard of anything like that before. Try uninstalling, running the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool. rebooting, and reinstalling. And/or try redownloading with a different browser or computer or Internet connection, or just installing on a different computer.
hey! i want to get after effects …how can i
You can download the free trial of After Effects CS4 just above, and get the permanent version here.
If it’s the latest version you want, just get CS5.5 (full or trial).
hi, i have downloaded file 1, 2 and 3 for photoshop cs4 without any problems, but when i tried to open the .exe file (like it says you should) it comes up with a message saying:
“the file archive part of adobe photoshop cs4 is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract adobe photoshop cs4. please download all parts.”
It comes up with this even though i have downloaded them all and they are all in the same folder. Any advice would be helpful, thanks :D
Hello Sam, sorry to hear you’re having difficulties. For that error message, please see this earlier comment and response…
Hi Sam
Thank you for taking the time once again to help!! Unfortunately I haven’t been able to open the PDF files I created in InDesign CS5 as I stupidly restricted the PDF by setting a password and ticking ‘Don’t allow any alterations’ – and because of that when I have tried to open up the PDF in Acrobat X it won’t allow me to type in the document. Even though I typed in the password, it doesn’t seem to want to even let me alter the document.
I’m frustrated as it’s a CV and it took me ages to design it, but I need to change some dates/text and can’t do it now and can’t afford to buy InDesign ;(
Alex, as mentioned in our previous response, you could download and run the free trial of CS5.5 InDesign to see if that helps your situation at all – or if you’ve already exhausted the trial, you could purchase a one-month subscription of any Adobe product for temporary use at an affordable price.
sir
Please give me a solution for downloading the adobe cs5.5 master collection trial. I was trying to download from prodesigntools but the file is very long, so the download failed… please give me an idea for downloading immediately.
thanks
Hi Khan, if you’re having difficulties with the file length, then try later, change your connection, or try downloading the files using a Download Manager (DLM) of your choice – which will gracefully handle dropoffs, connectivity breaks, starting and stopping, and the like.
How do I avoid having the adobe download assistant from trying to run the AE files? My system asks me to select a program to use to open it yet doesn’t seem to acknowledge it. however I have no issues trying to run the PS file in the instructions listed above. Thanks in advance :)
Greetings Jeff – please see this comment & response, which may help you too.
I’m trying to download the Premiere Pro CS4 trial, but when ever I click on it it sends me to the ‘resume your download’ page even though I’m signed into Adobe. What am I doing wrong?
Welcome Andrew, sorry it’s giving you trouble – occasionally some visitors do have these types of challenges with Adobe’s site… You know you’re logged in, but it says you still need to sign in to resume your download, and it’s downloading the latest release instead of giving you the older version you need.
So fear not, you’re not alone! But what to do?
Try waiting a bit and then read Kate’s earlier comments, the things she tried, and the series of replies which follow – and hopefully that will help get through that.
Oh my goodness, who ARE you people!!! I LOVE YOU!!! I´ve been searching for precisely this information for weeks and weeks. I know I´m gushing like a little girl but I can´t stop myself, I´m just so grateful for the information in this post as now I can FINALLY start work on a project that potentially will allow me to earn several thousand dollars over the next couple of months.
Now you understand why I´m so happy. Thank you fantastically generous, though anonymous people!
Andrea
Thank you for your thoughtful comment Andrea… and glad it’s going to help. These older trials can be hard to find, but definitely critical in some circumstances. We’ve heard a lot of stories from grateful visitors, so you’re not the first – but possibly the most gracious!
Hi, used the Adobe download for CS4, which I have been trying to get from Adobe but they kept trying to sell me CS5 upgrade because I lost my disc for CS4.
The download worked first time after following the instructions to the letter, and I can’t thank you enough for this information.
Adobe should learn a lesson of honesty from you guys.
kind regards, jimmy
You’re very welcome Jimmy, and thank you for the kind words… That’s gratifying to hear, and glad it worked out for you!
Although the customer service people probably weren’t aware of these trial links, Adobe actually deserves all the credit for maintaining download access to these files on their servers through the years.
Good luck with it going forward, and now that you have the installation package for your product again, don’t forget to make a good offline backup!
Take care and please feel free to stop back anytime if you have any further questions or issues.
The link for CS3 web premium seems to be broken – it prompts me to save the .dmg, but the file is 0 bytes
Does anyone have the CS3 creative suite web premium trial (for Mac) to download – or any other suggestions? I am trying to move from PC to Mac, and although I have the license number, I no longer have the installation file
Hey there JJ, just double-checked that exact link and it continues to work fine on this end… have you carefully followed all of the download instructions?
NB, Adobe doesn’t allow their trials to be served from anywhere else besides their servers or their discs… so if you find them in any other form it’s both illegal as well as a bad (risky) idea.
Hi there – we are running CS4 on our system in the office. We need 1 more licence for CS4 so I am downloading the trial of CS4. However will the trial run out after 1 month? What should I do then. We are not in a position to update all of our software and having 1 machine on CS5 has proved to be problematic with file sharing etc. Is the version I’m downloading in fact the full version of CS4? Or can I pay for the licence once running the CS4 trial?
Many thanks – this is a great resource (and hopefully will rectify our situation!)
Jamie
Hi Jamie, thanks for your questions. These here are all the trial versions of CS4 and CS3 to download, however they will convert over to permanent upon entering your valid purchased serial number.
So, if you still want to buy CS4, how and where do you get it? Here is our recommendation: you can easily and safely buy After Effects CS4 or Premiere Pro CS4 (32-bit applications) – or in fact any other CS4 product you like.
Hope this helps!
Hi !
When I am trying to download after effects cs4 here it sends me to this website:
/support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
and I don’t know what to do…
It doesn’t download, it just sends me to this website…
Thank You
Hello, have you carefully followed each step in the download instructions given in the article?
Doesn’t work for me. I click on the link, which takes me to the “resume your download” page. I click on “sign in and resume your download”, and it just sends me to the CS 5.5 trial download pages.
Greetings Lane, sometimes visitors do have those types of challenges with Adobe’s servers… You know you’re logged in, but it says you still need to sign in to resume your download, and it downloads the latest version (CS5.5) instead of giving you the older release you want.
Try waiting a little while and then see Kate’s earlier comments, the things she tried, and the series of replies which follow – and hopefully that will help you get past that.
@ProDesignTools
Oh, oops – thank you, it worked !
hi, I downloaded photoshop cs3, but it doesn’t work! it has been downloaded only these two files:
PHSPCS3_Cont_WWE
ADBEPHSPCS3_WWE
please tell me the reason, I need cs3 for my project. I had downloaded cs1 and cs2 before, but hadn’t had any problem! Also I tried your cs4, but it saves as not trial!
Welcome Pegah, have you carefully followed the instructions above, and are you using Internet Explorer? As mentioned in the article, the IE browser has a tendency to drop off the file extensions on these downloads… (Firefox and Chrome are fine)
If so, just rename the files to add a “.exe” back at the end, where applicable.
Hi there, I’ve downloaded and installed Adobe Premiere CS4 from those links above, but when I try to open it, it says ” Licensing for this product has expired.”
When I installed, I chose the option to install as a Trial, so I don’t know what’s happening, could you help me, please?!
Thanks.
Hey there Larissa, have you ever run any Adobe trial containing that CS4 product on the same computer before? If so, you’re out of luck for that – but can do a CS5.5 trial instead…
If not, see this earlier comment and the responses which follow it – or try the suggestions in this help article.
@ProDesignTools
THANK YOU SO MUCH, ProDesign!!! I did as suggested in one of your links and it really worked!!! You’re the best!! =)
Cheers!
