Well there are a number of cool new features – I’m liking the new mercury graphics engine as yep extra speed is always welcome! And gradients on strokes in illustrator – nice touch that will reduce workflow. New interface is cool … I’d probably be here all day if I listed everything :)
Its super FAST and responsive
I like the blur gallery in PS CS6
Love a lot of the new features, but my favorite is the new brushes!
I like the new brush options offered in PS CS6. Can’t wait to try them out.
Definitely loving the speed of Photoshop, and some of the new blur options!
Image trace is my favorite new feature.
My favourite CS6 feature is Pattern creation tools in Illustrator.
the content aware move tool & Liquify
The new dark grey UI in Photoshop
i love the photoshop, it’s amazing
Adobe Photoshop CS6 does it for me, especially the new content aware tools and the new non-destructive crop tool.
My favorite feature for CS6 would have to be everything as I’ve never used this program. I have used multiple versions of the Ekements though and love them but they are a little slow.
They’re all amazing, but I love the 3D tools! I just graduated in May, and used the PS CS6 beta to make the 3D title text at the end if this video https://vimeo.com/42426334. I graduated before I could get my hands on the student version :(
This would really help launch me into starting my career as an entrepreneur! This is everything I need!
Actually you may still be in luck for receiving the deeply-discounted student edition Brent – because status documentation dated within the last six months is still considered current!
I like all of the upgrade features for InDesign (Content Collector tools, hot-linked content across pages, integration with Digital Publishing Suite, Alternate Layout, Liquid Layout, other new tools efficiently adapt layouts to a myriad of page sizes, devices, and orientations.) but especially the Liquid Layout, it would be a huge timesaver for me.
The same is true for the upgrades in Photoshop, I spend a lot of time making corrections to archival photos. Thanks for the opportunity to comment, and possibly to win! I use these products every day.
Video in Photoshop and free curriculums for students and teachers.
So three entries… here and newsletter. You do great work. Thx!
I love that illustrator now takes advantage of 64 bit.
I am SOOOO excited about the Background Save and Auto-Recovery! FINALLY! I cannot tell you how many times I was so caught up in what I was doing and forgot to save my work. I would have given my soul for this feature many, many times. I guess I can save my soul for the next crisis now!
just need it!
I too like, and find extremely useful, the content aware tool as seen in the trial. But alas, I spent my $1,500 buying CS5.5 in February and never knew a new upgrade was coming out. With only a two-week free upgrade time limit if you had purchased CS5.5, I have no money left to get CS6 or even get the upgrade so I will waste time doing it the old way to delete unwated items from photos . . . sigh
Sorry you missed Creative Suite 6 Tom, although keep an eye on our blog here as we regularly estimate the timeframes for future Adobe releases, and have actually been talking about CS6 since last summer.
PS – The grace period for free upgrades in the spring actually ran for six weeks.
i love photoshop and i like all new features of Photoshop in CS 6. But i like almost features below:
New Blur Gallery, Adobe Camera Raw 7 plug-in, Completely reengineered 3D tools
PS6’s new crop tool and better brushes are awesome. Content-aware patch is also great.
The Mercury Graphics Engine in Adobe Creative Suite CS6 gets my vote as the most compelling new feature.
I’ll cast my vote for the completely reengineered 3D tools in Photoshop.
I love the new brushes..addicted to brushes
