Watch Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 Free Tutorials

[UPDATEElements 11 is out!  Get free tutorials for the new version.]

We’ve previously covered 17+ hours of free video tutorials for Creative Suite 5, plus three hours for Lightroom 3 – so here are some brand new training resources for the just-released Adobe Photoshop Elements 10… Most of these tutorials also apply to Photoshop Elements 9, which shares the same interface but just doesn’t have as many features.

In these three courses the experts share how to get started, the basics of the software, new features, how to use key tools and functions, plus their favorite tips and techniques. In sum, there is over four hours of free content, with 46 separate chapters.

[ Bonus! Here also are 70 minutes of free tutorials for Premiere Elements 10 for taking care of your video. ]

If you need a copy of Photoshop or Premiere Elements 10 to get going right away, just download the free trial and it will work fully for 30 calendar days, which should be plenty of time to get through the classes.

If you prefer learning in written form, we’ve got the Adobe Photoshop Elements Guide – a free 95-page e-book you can download as well.

Photoshop Elements 10 Direct Download Links: Free Trials, Premiere

September 21st, 2011 135 comments

[UPDATE (October 2016) – These still work to download the old Elements 10 trials. We also now have the new Elements 15 Direct Download Links!]

Continuing our history of providing the direct download links for major Adobe products such as Creative Cloud, CS6, Lightroom 6/CC, and Acrobat DC, below you’ll find the direct links from Adobe’s servers for free trials of the brand new releases of Photoshop Elements 10 and Premiere Elements 10, for both Windows and the Mac OS.

Direct download links for Adobe Elements 10

The links given below go to the authentic and secure files residing on Adobe’s servers, are guaranteed genuine and will not change. They are especially useful when you are unable to download Adobe’s free trials via other means – often due to difficulties with the Akamai Download Manager (the Adobe DLM). With the links provided below, you can use your own browser’s download capability, or another download manager of your choice.

For setting up Elements on Windows (both PSE 10 and PRE 10), each program consists of two downloaded files: an .exe and a 7-Zip file (.7z). The .exe file will only work (and install) once the .7z file is fully downloaded and resides in the same location. For the Mac, it’s just a single .dmg file for each program.

How and Why You Should Register Your Adobe Software

July 7th, 2011 6 comments

Adobe Software Registration

You know all the usual reasons software makers give to register your software – to receive tech support, news, updates, offers, bug fixes, and so on.  It also protects your investment because it gives you permanent access to your registered serial number in case something ever happens to your computer or software.

Adobe adds another reason – to get free gifts. They’re called “complimentary benefits,” and they’re offered worldwide…

For example, if you register your Creative Suite product, depending on what you own you could choose from one of these bonuses:

  • a free copy of onOne Software’s PhotoTools 2.5 Standard plug-in for Photoshop,
  • a complimentary copy of Red Giant Software’s Magic Bullet Quick Looks plug-in for video,
  • 30 days of free training at Lynda.com with more than 1,500 hours of Adobe training,
  • a free download of the new and versatile text typeface font family Adobe Text, or
  • a 30-day trial of the Creative Edge online library with thousands of books and videos.

Doing the same for Adobe Acrobat X gets you some similar choices – or a 10% discount coupon for anything at the Adobe Store, or four special edition Acrobat X PDF Portfolio themes, or discounts plus free access to Safari Books Online, Total Training, or Peachpit. Registering Acrobat also enables you to use services at Acrobat.com.

CS5.5 No Longer Sold – Get Adobe CS6 or CC Now

[UPDATE (Nov. 2016) – These still work to download the old CS5.5 trials. We also now have the new Adobe CC 2017 Direct Links!]

Some of the most visited resources on this site are the direct download links provided for most major Adobe products. So continuing in this tradition, here is a complete set of direct download links for all the new Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 software (Windows and Mac), for instant easy access and the ability to use your own download manager or download assistant if you have any difficulty with what Adobe normally employs and need to get the CS5.5 trials without it…

We have also linked the free CS5.5 Extra Content downloads (aka Additional or Functional Content) for all available products.

Below is a table for CS5.5 trial downloads in major languages. These links go to the authentic and original CS5.5 files residing on Adobe’s servers, are guaranteed genuine and will not change.
