Upcoming Changes to Creative Cloud OS Support for Windows 32-Bit

We wanted to share some information on updated operating system requirements for customers running Adobe Creative Cloud desktop apps on Windows 32-bit OS.

To take advantage of the latest operating system features and technologies, the next major release of Creative Cloud will not support Windows 32-bit OS. Most current Creative Cloud applications already require a Windows 64-bit OS and that requirement will expand to all applications as part of the next major release.

If you’re running Windows 32-bit OS, you can continue to run and install current and previous authorized versions of Creative Cloud applications that still support it, including, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Bridge. However, you will not be able to install or run the next major release of Creative Cloud unless you’re on a supported version of Windows 64-bit OS. The next major update to Adobe Acrobat will continue to support Windows 32-bit OS.

Focusing our efforts on more modern versions of Windows OS allows us to concentrate on developing the features and functionality most requested by members, while ensuring peak performance that takes advantage of modern hardware.
