Bringing the power of creative storytelling to global nonprofits with Adobe Express

Adobe Express

Creativity is the great enabler and has the power to create change in the world in big and small ways. Everyone should have the opportunity to express and share their creativity — and we want to empower anyone to turn creative ideas into unique content without complexity.

Today we’re excited to announce Adobe Express for Nonprofits, which provides the premium version of Adobe Express for free to nonprofits worldwide to help changemakers around the world quickly and easily make standout content. We are harnessing our creative and technological strengths to enable the world’s 10 million+ nonprofits to accelerate their mission, engage their donors, reach more people and drive greater impact. This offering is part of Adobe’s long history of providing software to communities and nonprofit organizations to help them creatively tell their stories, inspire action and advocate for change.

Nonprofits tell us that they are looking for easy-to-use solutions to help them create and share unique and beautiful content. However, they do not always have the resources to create digital content to support fundraising efforts, engage clients and donors, further their mission and differentiate themselves in a digital-first world. Adobe Express for Nonprofits empowers nonprofits to create visual content, share their missions, connect with communities, and ultimately expand their impact in the most creative and meaningful ways possible — whether that’s through creating a promotional poster for an upcoming event on the web or a social media post to boost its brand awareness on mobile.

As a streamlined web and mobile app, Adobe Express draws on our decades of experience working with the creative community to enable nonprofits to express themselves anywhere and anytime. Adobe Express Premium includes access to thousands of professionally designed templates and assets (some of which were co-created by nonprofits with Adobe to better support organizations), over 22,000 licensed Adobe Fonts, over 193 million assets including templates and royalty-free Adobe Stock collection photos, 100GB of storage, cross-channel social publishing capabilities, and more.

We’ve already had some early adopters using Adobe Express for Nonprofits and here’s what they’ve had to say:

Some of the core technology from our industry-leading products like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is available in Adobe Express — but without design experience needed. For example, with Quick Actions, users can remove the background from an image, trim a video, or create a meme-ready GIF with just one click. We’ve also incorporated the power to convert and export PDFs from Adobe Acrobat to enhance productivity and collaboration. Also, Creative Cloud Libraries makes design assets for any project available anywhere – meaning users can browse and share assets without ever leaving Adobe Express. For users needing to learn the basics or refine their skills, we have you covered with quick Adobe Express tutorials, as well as some specifically created for and by nonprofits to address the needs of your organization.

We’ve seen the global impact and reach of our products from transforming lives and lifting up communities to creating a more sustainable future. In 2021, Adobe provided more than $46 million in complimentary or discounted product access to more than 67,000 organizations in 73 countries and territories worldwide. Nonprofits can register for a free one-year (renewable) subscription to Adobe Express Premium now.

Adobe is committed to bringing transformational technologies to market, innovating around the responsible use of technology for the good of society, and enabling our customers, partners, creators and community to drive impact that creates a better world for all. We can’t wait to see the world of opportunity Adobe Express for Nonprofits will unleash for charitable organizations and the causes they support.
