First introduced and evolved in Photoshop, Content-Aware Fill for Video is now available to editors and visual effects artists allowing you to remove unwanted elements from video clips, such as production equipment, boom microphones, vehicles, people, signs, logos, or special effects wires that have inadvertently been included in a shot.

Last week, Adobe announced the immediate availability of the all-new CC 2018 release, the next generation of Creative Cloud with hundreds of new features and advancements across their product line focusing on innovative new tools, improved performance, smoother workflow & connectivity, and some of that Adobe magic… CC 2018 is the next major release following the CC 2017, CC 2015, CC 2014, and CC 2013 versions, which in turn replaced CS6 from 2012.
The 15 upgraded CC desktop applications are Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, InCopy, Animate (formerly Flash Pro), Muse, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Prelude, Media Encoder, Bridge, Camera Raw, and the rebranded Lightroom Classic. Adobe just announced the immediate availability of the all-new CC 2017 release, with hundreds of new features and enhancements across their creative product line focusing on innovative new tools, improved performance, smoother workflow & connectivity, and some of that Adobe magic… Creative Cloud 2017 is the next major release following the CC 2015, CC 2014, and CC 2013 versions, which in turn replaced CS6 from 2012.

Adobe’s pro video tools have made enormous advancements in recent years. So much so, that the older CS versions are hardly recognizable when compared to the newest CC editions, in terms of new features and performance improvements added since then. Adobe has really poured a lot of effort into these tools, and it shows: the current video suite has gained significant adoption and is widely considered a leader in the industry. All of their video applications are available/included in the complete Creative Cloud (“All Apps”) subscription offering direct from the company.

Adobe has just announced the immediate availability of the all-new CC 2015 release, with hundreds of new features and enhancements across their creative product line focusing on workflow, performance, connectivity, and some of that Adobe magic… Creative Cloud 2015 is the next major release following the CC 2014 and CC 2013 versions, which in turn replaced CS6 from 2012. So thinking in the old terms, this would roughly be equivalent to CS9 (and more).
The 15 desktop tools updated today are Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, InCopy, Dreamweaver, Flash Pro, Premiere Pro, After Effects (including the highly-anticipated Character Animator), Audition, Prelude, Speedgrade, Media Encoder, Muse, and Edge Animate. BREAKING NEWS (New York) — Adobe has just announced the immediate availability of the all-new CC 2014 release, with hundreds of new features and enhancements across their creative product line (all tools) focusing on workflow, performance, and connectivity. In this fast-paced and rapidly evolving world of technology and platforms, CC 2014 succeeds the CC 2013 version which launched last June, which in turn replaced CS6 from 2012. So thinking in the old terms, this would roughly be equivalent to CS8 (and more).

What Are the Differences in Photoshop CS6 vs. CS5 — What’s New?

At Photoshop World last week, we had the chance to sit down with Adobe Senior Product Managers Bryan O’Neil Hughes and Zorana Gee for hours of in-depth walkthroughs of the new Photoshop CS6 release. And all we can say is – on top of what we already knew and experienced – this is the Photoshop version you’ve probably dreamed about…
And with over one million downloads in record time, clearly we’re not the only ones thinking that. The reviews are in: Gizmodo calls it, “The best update in recent memory, I’m in love” … PC Magazine says, “The future of creative image editing is upon us – this new version will thrill nearly all categories of users, from photographers to designers” … USA Today writes, “Having lots of fun with the new tools – the beautiful and streamlined new interface is a huge improvement, and the images really do look sharper and more pronounced.”
For expediency we put together a quick “cheat sheet” below of the top differences and new features in Photoshop CS6 as compared to PS CS5. Naturally if you’re still on CS4, CS3, or earlier, then you’d also need to add in the differences between CS5 vs. those older versions.
But really, it’s also a fit and polish thing – with two years since the last major release (and having no architectural challenges to worry about), the Photoshop team had plenty time to hone this into a smooth and polished product. This is reflected in the 62% more new features added in this cycle contrasted to the previous one, and nearly twice as many JDI requests (user-focused “Just Do It” items) addressed.
