Hello, I have a question. If I download flash using windows will I be able to open the work on mac??
Yes, you should be able to.
ok fine
I had a problem with the latest Flash Player 11 because it couldn’t play any Flash banners on my sites, for example the one on our homepage.
So thanks for having the Flash Player 10 – I’ve removed the latest release, reinstalled the lower version 10 and everything is playing again.
At times the newer updates have bugs they’ve not fixed yet. Thanks!
Patrick
Thanks for letting us know Patrick, and good you were able to get it sorted out… And you’re right – we can’t see the banners on your homepage using Flash Player 11 either.
It is true that sometimes when companies come out with a new software release, there are a few glitches that take some time to work out with updates and patches to the latest version… So this is one more reason why we like to keep direct links to a lot of older Adobe software.
Good luck and hope that works out soon on your site with version 11! You may also wish to report any problems you find on Adobe’s official bug report form.

Nice software collection…
Flash Player 10.3 is better than 11.1.
Flash Player 11.1 is using a lot more CPU time.
Okay…… I’ve attempted to download Adobe Flash Player multiple times to NO avail. I have a new Acer computer that, to this point, I have thoroughly enjoyed. BUT I try to download and install the Adobe, and NOTHING, either it fails to download completely, or it gets so far, and says it is unable to contact a proper site to complete the download. this leaves me unable to update my Flash Player for the Internet, to which, I use Firefox and Safari, and occasionally, IE9. So, what’s up with this? How do I get this done so I can use the full aspects of the Internet? or do I just kiss Adobe off and see if Apple has anything to outdo this? getting kind of frustrated with this……?????
Hi Hal, sorry you’re having difficulty… We just tested all the download links above again, and they are working fine on our end. You could try a different browser, computer, and/or Internet connection (no Wi-Fi).
Also note this: “Adobe recommends temporarily turning off any surfing restrictions you might have running, like site or cookie blocking, filtering, firewalls or antivirus software.”
Hope that helps!
thanks
hello sir im using sony ericsson w8 mobile… ive tried many versions of flash players but same error, showing that its not supported. plz help me, my phone device is android 2.1 plz help as soon as possible
Sorry Satinder, according to this thread – if you have Android 2.1, you can’t install Flash Player.
I am having issues with Adobe, I cannot get it to work with Firefox, and that is COMPLETELY ridiculous, all of your upgrades should be comparable with all browsers
Hello Franki, you didn’t post any details so not sure the issue that you’re having, but there was a problem with Adobe Flash Player 11 on Mozilla Firefox that was reportedly fixed in a recent update to the Player.
If that’s what you’re running, then make sure you have the latest version and then clear your browser cache and cookies, and restart.
COULD NOT AGREE MORE WITH WHAT FRANKI SAID – I am having issues with Adobe, I cannot get it to work with Firefox, and that is COMPLETELY ridiculous, all of your upgrades should be comparable with all browsers – WTH IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE??? I MUST BE MISSING SOMETHING AND YOU MUST BE GETTING PAID BY MICROSOFT, I HAVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS FOR SEVERAL MONTHS WITH YOUR “PROGRAM” I HAVE INSTALLED, UNINSTALLED AND BACK AGAIN…. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND GET THIS RIGHT!!!!!
I HAVE TRIED 11.3 SEVERAL TIMES, I FIND IT RIDICULOUS THAT YOU GAVE FRANKI, I DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT GARBAGE TALK. I UNINSTALLED 11.3, HELL, IT IS BETTER THEN IT CONSTANTLY CRASHING MY PC… I WANT A LINK TO WHATEVER VERSION IS KNOWN TO WORK WITH FF AND IS STABLE… IS THERE SUCH A THING… YES I AM EXTREMELY AGGRAVATED AT YOUR 11.3/FF ISSUES
FINALLY, IF I AM DIRECTING MY ANGER AT THE WRONG PEOPLE I DO APOLOGIZE…. I HAVE HAD DAILY ISSUES WITH THIS PRODUCT, PLEASE PROVIDE SOME DIRECTION – TY
Greetings Don, sorry for your troubles but we’re not Adobe so if you have technical difficulties with any of their products then the best route is to contact them directly.
The links are no longer valid, and do not work anymore.
Thank you for your comment Aaron. Only one of the links wasn’t working anymore – the FP 10.3 for non-IE browsers – and that’s because Adobe had quietly changed the filename from “install_flash_player_10.exe” to “install_flash_player_10_plugin.exe”, which we figured out after a little fishing…
Anyway, that link has been updated – so now everything above is working again. Thanks for the heads-up.
There are also the direct download links for FP 11, for those who want them as well.
thanks
im extremely frustrated, 4 days I’ve tried to install adobe flash. im new to this computer, like a baby. i thought it was me, doing something wrong. i wish someone would install it for me.
what is a plugin? my comp said it needs a plugin. brand new i-mac safari, shouldn’t it already have it in it? it says it is installing but nothing more happens. please… help
Not sure Lynette, but if you’ve got a brand new computer then you should be installing the latest version instead: Adobe Flash Player 11.
It should just be a simple matter of following the instructions on that page.
This page is for an older release of Flash Player which may not run or be supported on your new system.
I have been having the same problems with the new Adobe Flashplayer 11.6. I reverted back to Adobe Flashplayer 10.3 which you can download from this page and now I am not having any problems and the videos play nice again. I am going to wait until Adobe comes up with a better newer version.
Glad it worked out Nicky and that this page was able to help you – thanks for letting us know!
hi, my system configuration is windows 7 home premium (64bit), i tried to install flash player on my system but i couldn’t do that. I even tried flash 10.3 today, but that is throwing an error as “the version of adobe you are trying isn’t an up-to-date version” – but for my work to be done, my flash player version must be within 8-11 (some predefined requirement).
can you guide me with a solution, so that i can complete my work as soon as possible.
Not sure Ranjini – what is the problem (or error message) you get when you try to install the current Flash Player 11, which your system definitely supports?
hi, i have installed flash player 11, but still when i tried to open certain course materials, it is showing an error as, “you need to install a flash 6 plugin”. can you please tell me what else i have to install to overcome this error.
Can’t say for sure; did you google the message? Are you sure you installed the right version of the player for the web browser you’re using? Did you try with a different browser?
Hmm, just started to comment, but others said it first; this link leads to 11, not 10.3; I have an Intel iMac with OSX 10.5.8; really need 10.3.193.90; anything?
Hi Sally, very puzzled by your comment – because these links are for Flash Player version 10…
We just tested all of the three direct links above (including for Mac OS), and they all download as “Adobe® Flash® Player Installer/Uninstaller 10.3 r183.90.”
Flash player 11 will not run on my system, I keep getting warnings there is something wrong – so I go back to version 10, and it works fine.
Great Les, glad to hear this helps – and thanks for letting us know!
I have problem with adobe flash. It can’t be downloaded in my nokia lumia 620 despite several attempts and am losing my cool.
Hello Reagan, what problem are you having in particular? Any messages? Did you try googling the issue?
