@ProDesignTools
Thank you, but I tried downloading CS4 and it wouldn’t accept my key, because the key is for my CS5 Production Premium Suite.
I need to download ALL of CS5 Production to put it back on my computer. How do I get the “extra 32-bit Support Package” as a download?
You have to get it within the CS5 package you purchased (either boxed or downloaded) – it doesn’t come separately… See this forum thread for more.
Is there a way to use a download manager? I tried Internet Download Manager (IDM) and Free Download Manager (FDM), both telling me user or password is incorrect.
Following your instructions, I can, however, download everything within Chrome. Alas, 7+ GB in a row is a bit too heavy for my connection.
Hey there Hans, you definitely should be able to use your own download manager with these direct links, and many do – that’s part of the advantage… There are certainly no username or password required here – never heard anything like that before.
And as you discovered, just downloading using your browser should work – if you have a relatively fast Internet connection. If not, a separate download manager could help for dropped or slow connections.
I have made a very helpful discovery. Whenever I encountered the “Access Denied” error, I did everything you suggested to fix it: signed in to Adobe.com, cleared browser cache and cookies, etc. Nothing worked.
So I went to the Adobe.com download page to see if I could download something directly from Adobe. BUT, before I clicked on anything to download, I came back to THIS website and tried one more time to download the direct link… AND IT WORKED! The download began immediately. So, try clicking on one of the trial links in Adobe.com (it doesn’t matter which product) and stop at the download page. Come back here and then start your download. :-)
Yes, thank you – and that’s essentially what the step-by-step download instructions at the top of this page are guiding to do.
I don’t suppose you know of a source for the Design Premier 5.0 version that was sold about a year ago. I have a registered version and had to remove Photoshop to fix a scratched disk issue, only to find my media was thrashed and unreadable. I tried the 5.5 but it won’t take my activation number (the number is on files with Adobe as belonging to me). All the other programs are working but I need to get my Photoshop back on line. Adobe has been absolutely no help either by phone or chat. They tell me I need to purchase an upgrade. I can’t afford that, I just bought and installed it 1 year 3 weeks ago. Thanks
Hi GM – you came to the right place, that should be no problem at all – all of the original CS5 versions are right here on this page…
You should be able to download the trial version above for the suite you purchased, and then enter your valid serial number to convert it to permanent – that’s all!
There are many people in a similar boat here (lost/damaged/stolen discs, no DVD drive in new computer, purchased download is no longer available, hard disk crashed without a backup, etc.) who solve that problem every day.
Pro-Design.
Thank you, thank you thank you. It worked. I now have PS up and running and 2 copies of the installation files on discs. For whatever reason, Adobe made this process much harder than it needed to be. I have been searching for 3 weeks for this and talking to way too many people all over the world. Their tech support told me the only thing I could do was buy an upgrade to 5.5. Why didn’t the Adobe people just send me here? They claimed no copy of the software existed anywhere.
Keep up the good fight.
RELIEF
That’s great GM, glad it worked out and thanks for letting us know. In Customer Service’s defense, there are probably quite a few reps who aren’t aware that the all the different trial versions reside on Adobe’s servers, which can be used to restore validly-purchased products. It just isn’t widely publicized or promoted… but glad that it helped in your case.
Hi there,
Thanks so much for putting these up for download! I had a similar issue as GM and would like to restore my After Effects to permanent – how can I do this? I’ve just downloaded and installed After Effects, but after I’ve opened the program there is nowhere to enter my serial number!
Don’t worry Ana – you’re enjoying a free 30-day trial period… The software will eventually ask you to enter your valid purchased serial number, just give it a bit of time! Usually it happens upon start-up.
Or it could be that you’ve had the same software on that same computer previously and it just reactivated itself silently… Check the Help menu to see if you have a Deactivate option there – if so, do nothing as you’re already good to go…
See this Adobe Guide on Activation & Deactivation for more information.
@ProDesignTools
I actually found a link in a torrent download and just entered my serial number and it seems to have worked. Thanks for all the replies.
Hello again Andrea – unfortunately, that’s a very bad idea… For the wellbeing of yourself and your computer you should absolutely avoid Adobe torrents and other inauthentic downloads, as most are backdoored…
Meaning, they can silently do a lot of harm to your privacy, your data, and your system – and you usually don’t find out until it’s too late.
Unequivocally, the only safe, legal, and genuine place to download Adobe products is directly from their servers – using the trial direct download links like above or on Adobe’s website.
Hey, when I downloaded Adobe Photoshop CS5, and opened the downloaded file it came up with the following error: “The file archive part of Adobe Photoshop CS5 is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe Photoshop CS5. Please download all parts.”
Welcome John, sorry you’re having difficulties – that issue should be solved if you follow the steps given in this earlier comment and response.
Huge thanks for making this available. Similar tale, I suppose. Hard disk crashed, had all backed up but not applications to save space, then couldn’t locate the install disks. PANIC. Adobe ‘support’ was only providing the ‘go buy it again’ solution. Had registered products in their system with serial numbers which clearly showed I owned the products, but they didn’t care. This download worked perfectly, accepted my serial numbers and I’m up and running again. Thanks!
Thanks for your tale and glad it helped! Now don’t forget to make a new disc backup of the installation files for future use and just in case.
THANK YOU for this! Seriously, this was a life saver. =)
Good to hear – thanks for letting us know!
I’m looking for a download of the Adobe Acrobat 9 for Mac – don’t see it listed here. Is it available somewhere else on your site? Thanks!
Hi MJH – we have everything here that’s available… but please see this earlier comment for why no Mac trial of Adobe Acrobat!
@ProDesignTools
dude! way to go! it worked!
I downloaded the production premium cs5 for mac but when I try to open the dmg file it is saying “the following disk image couldn’t be opened” because reason: not recognized. I opened up disk utility to attempt to get it to open that way, but it is asking for a destination. I am choosing hard drive but it states it will erase my hd and i don’t want that. that dl took about 15 hrs and i don’t wanna do it again to regain my suite and have the next dl do the same. Is there a way to fix this? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
15 hours? Wow! That could be an issue with the long length of time your connection needs to be solid… and unfortunately that message you got where the disk image could not be mounted is probably due to the download being corrupted or incomplete somehow. We’ve never heard of it otherwise – sorry!
Your best bet is to try to find a faster Internet connection somehow (no Wi-Fi definitely) – or install a Mac download manager of your own to make sure the files come across complete and intact over your slow connection. Hope this helps and good luck!
it’s telling me ‘access denied’ when i tried to download master suite collection cs5 on file 1 and 2 in english
Hey there, the direct links all continue to work fine here… are you carefully following the important download instructions given in the article?
I am attempting to download the file and carefully read the instructions. I utilize Chrome as my browser and cleared my history to ensure there was nothing conflicting. I logged into my Adobe free profile account and click on the direct links to CS5 Design Premium. I just continue receiving the Access Denied message. Any suggestions?
Please disregard my comment….I reread the article and it downloaded perfectly. You are awesome!
Glad you got it sorted out Roger – thanks for letting us know.
For some reason the large file keeps downloading as a text document so I can not open it and renaming it does not change it. What else can I do?
Hello Sherone, you’re probably using Internet Explorer, a browser which sometimes drops or changes the file extensions… You can use a different browser (Firefox or Chrome or Safari), or you can rename the large file according to how it should be (hover your mouse over the link you downloaded and note whether it ends in .exe or .7z).
I am using Chrome as my browser and to be more specific I was trying to download CS5 Design Premium. Every other time that I would hover over the large file it would download as a .txt but now for some reason it says that it is downloading as a .7z so I am excited about that. I do not know what I did differently but it seems to be working. It should download in about another 5 hours and I will post after.
Thanks for the fast response.
Great Sherone, it sounds like you’ve got it – good work.
Thought I had it but now there is another problem. My serial and everything works perfectly and the whole product installs to 99% (happened twice) then asks me to Close the following program to continue and lists Google Chrome (chrome.exe) but I did not have chrome or any other program running at the time.
If anybody can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Well, it sounds identical to the warning message described here – which in reality is no problem, just use your Windows Task Manager to close any browser processes that may be running and you should be good (and fully installed).
Hey ProDesign,
I had the same problem with the Production Premium…took way over 10 hours to download, and now I find that it didn’t even work…I tried getting a download manager (iGetter to be specific) but when I use it, it keeps saying the file is broken and won’t download it. I made sure I’m logged into Adobe too. Now I don’t know what to do :( I heard that Firefox has actual -browser- plugins for download managers, do you think that would make a difference? Do you have any other suggestions?
Hmm… yes Ned, you could try one of the Firefox download managers that run in-browser, some folks swear by those. Or you could give a shot with the latest CS5.5 direct download links instead. Or try to find or use a different computer or net connection (a faster one, avoid Wi-Fi) to download the trials.
I am getting this message when I try to download any of the above links ‘Access Denied, You don’t have permission to access…………’
I have a key for CS5 Production Premium that was part of a 4 licence package (the first version that came out). I don’t have the disks and I can’t get hold of the guy who has them (I should have made a copy for myself). I have a new computer and I need to get CS5 Production Premium on it asap for a job I am about to start.
Will I be able to authorise the trial of CS5 Production Premium with my key? If I can get the download to work that is….
Hey there Ben – yes, you should be able to permanently activate the free downloadable trial with your valid purchased serial number, so long as it’s the same version and operating system… and even if it’s an Adobe volume license…
If you’re having any difficulties direct-downloading the trials here, then check through this list of suggestions to try.
Hope that helps!
Adobe CS5 Design Standard please ….. !!
Sorry for the omission! It’s up there now.
Unfortunately, the link above
“Access Denied
You do not have permission to access “…/DSGN/CS5/win32/DesignStandard_CS5_LS1.exe” on this server.

please help me need Adobe CS5 Design Standard macox.
Hi, please see these earlier comments – thanks.
thanks very very useful tip. The amount of bytes for adobe design premium suite seems not equal to the download size of 5.6 GB ?! however great!
Yes, the download file sizes are approximate and for Windows – if you’re using a Mac, then the numbers will be a bit different.
I have the serial number for cs5 master collection and I was having recurring errors pop up. I was told to uninstall and re-download, after I did I realized I can’t find my disc. how do i get the entire collection back on my computer to type in my serial number? thanks
Greetings JLW – you shouldn’t need your original discs actually… So long as you have your purchased license key, then you can just download the package that you own linked from this page, install it and then permanently activate the trial by typing in your valid serial number.
