Every time when I downloaded Adobe Photoshop CC for windows and installed it easily, but if I format my PC and try to install from the same downloaded file, it’s showing me that the setup file may be damaged… what is the problem with the setup file after once installed… Plz fix this problem; we can’t download every time for this setup file problem.
There is no problem with these installers – and that doesn’t really make sense anyway, because obviously nothing within the installer file itself ever changes because of what you do to your PC… We’ve certainly never heard of it before.

Hi, please can you explain something.
I have the monthly plan for PS and LR. I am running PS CC 2015.5, which is version 17.0.2 and I don’t want to jump to 2020, it is unnecessarily complex and heavyweight for me.
If I download Adobe Photoshop CC 2017, for Mac, the .dmg is called AdobePhotoshop18-mul.dmg. Will I be able to install that alongside my existing version? Or will it overwrite the 2015.5 version on my Mac?
And how do I then get the update labelled in the CC desktop app as version 18.1.7? It shows up as visible if I use the drop-down arrow and choose “Other versions – Manage,” but there is no ‘advanced’ choice to not overwrite like there used to be.
Thank you. I really want to keep the version I’ve got in case any later versions are not manageable for any reason, or maybe stop my printer from working. The Mac is running OS 10.14.5 Mojave, my printer is old but functional.

By default, all previous versions of Creative Cloud apps are uninstalled when you update to the latest version. If you want to retain previously installed versions, remember to change the default settings before you start the update process. For more information, see Advanced options.
To our knowledge, choosing “Manage – Other Versions” from the drop-down arrow won’t uninstall your current version(s) because it is not updating to the latest release.
In any event, your best bet is to make a system backup before updating anything (e.g., use Apple Time Machine), so then you can always roll back to your previous state if anything doesn’t go as you wish.

Thank you, I’ve read the link, and another Adobe page about enabling Auto-update for all apps in the desktop Cretive Cloud manager preferences, and then going to each app, under Manage/Auto updates, you can deselect ‘Remove previous version’, and then disable Auto-update for that app and any others you don’t want to auto-update. I did this with the internet disconnected and all my apps active, so that would stop any auto-updating happening before I had chance to change the settings. It’s big rigmarole workaround for something that should be there and easy to use. I hope this is helpful to someone.
Now please can you answer the second question in my original post – i.e., if I use the offline installer from your Direct downloads page for the basic PS CC version 18.0, when I then go online and use the desktop Creative Cloud, will it be recognised as an installed app, and will I be able to update it to 18.1.7?

Sorry, not sure why – we’ve never heard that before… What operating system and version are you using?
Could you please share more details about the issue? Do you receive any error or message? If so, what is the exact text of that? Often googling that will turn up a solution.

Sure, it shouldn’t be too complicated. Does this help?
On Windows: Just unzip the downloaded file into a new folder, and then run the “Set-up.exe” executable file within that folder to begin the installation. Feel free to remove that folder once the installation has completed.
On macOS: Just double-click on the downloaded .dmg file to mount it on your computer and start the installation process.

I downloaded Adobe After Affects CC 2018 and it gave me a 7-day trial. Is it supposed to do that or is this one that does not have a trial on it? Was it an error downloading?
They’re both the free trials as well as the full versions, depending on which plan you choose.
In other words, these downloads can be activated for ongoing use without having to reinstall the software.

So I’m on Mac, and I tried downloading both illustrator and premiere pro. But when I open the installer it says: “Sorry, installation failed. Another installer is currently running, which must be closed before installing this product. Please close or wait for other installers to complete. (Error Code: 81)” But I don’t have any installers open, so why does it say this?
Not sure. Try rebooting now, and then again after installing each app separately?

Sorry, there are no other CC 2018 installers available via direct download links, so nothing smaller than what you have above.
You could try the newer CC 2019 direct links instead, but in general they are not likely to be smaller in size.
