Where is Encore?
Hi Roger, Adobe Encore was not updated to a new Encore CC version – however, you can continue to access and use the older Encore CS6 release with new CC tools…

Sure. As far as we know, the DVD disc with all the new Adobe CC software and installers on it is free or nominal cost, but by request only…
Contacting them via live online chat is probably the fastest/easiest way to find out more and request that.

I got some bad news, I just spoken to Sunil and here is the response:
“Sunil : Daniel, I’m sorry to inform you that there is no disc version for the Creative Cloud products for retail users.
Sunil : You need to get the new CC apps from the Download Center at creative.adobe.com, and you need to install the creative cloud desktop app which will download and install the CC product(s) of your choice.
Sunil : So, please try to download the software from another network or from the other source.”
Can you please look into this? I got asked “Daniel, may I know if you wish to install the Adobe CC products on the government organization or from the military-secured computers?” and I said that I wanted to install it on a home computer that doesn’t have much data for download.
I was going to do it at work but decided not to as I felt that it wasn’t the right thing to do.

The word we had from a senior Adobe support manager is, “we will have DVDs available which our support team can ship out.”
It may be that this is a new initiative and the CC discs are not available yet, but we’ll post back here as soon as we know more for certain.

Ok thank-you for the heads up, do you have any ideas on how long that will take? I’m sorry if I sound inpatient.
We were in touch with Adobe lead support and got the reply, “I will request a reminder go out to the support agents tomorrow. It is a fairly new process but we do want to make sure that customers who are facing a need can obtain the media due to Internet connection concerns.”
So the option to get a CC installer disc was not fully implemented yet, but does exist and will hopefully be available soon – we’ll post back when we know or see more.

I just want to know that, What does ( ALL Languages ) means ? Does these installers contains Arabic + English Language pack ??? or need to download ME version ?

Hey there Ahmad – all languages is ALL languages. These downloads include both Arabic + English, as well as Hebrew + English.
So you do not need a separate Middle East version for Adobe CC – it’s all here and available.
Will Adobe CC install to a MacBook Pro with a Solid State Hard Drive? The note states it will not install to a removable flash drive, but it is not clear on SSD.

Yes, definitely Mike. A Solid State Drive is not generally considered removable, whereas USB/flash drives or memory keys are…
Rather, a SSD is a replacement for your regular hard disk drive, and Creative Suite will install and run fine (and better!) on it.

Hi Daniel, we have not checked back with Adobe Customer Service yet on the discs for the CC release, but in theory it should be in place by now.

Adobe Support: DVD’s for the Creative Cloud applications are only provided when the customer has a slow Internet connection or they are based in a country without good broadband infrastructure.
Adobe Support: In all the other situations the download link will be provided.
ProDesignTools: Glad to hear it. Is there any charge for when you ship out a copy of the CC disc to the user?
Adobe Support: No, sending the media is free of cost.
ProDesignTools: OK, that’s all good news. That way people can make sure they can get the CC products regardless of location or poor connection speed.

One requirement is that you must be a paid CC member first, before they will ship out the discs to you. However, this can be as simple as a single one-month subscription… You can easily join here and then just pass along your order number to the chat team to get the DVD media.

Thank-you for letting me know, I ended up posting on Adobe’s forum last week (as well as hitting twitter) and I got a phone call and I should get media in the mail in the next week or so. It’s sad that I needed to hit twitter and Adobe’s forum but I am happy that I am getting closer to getting this sorted :)

As with any new initiative at a large company, it can take a little while before everyone is with the program – but hopefully now it’s worked its way through.
hello! i’m running os x 10.8.4. after effects cc didn’t show up in my creative cloud installer, so i used your link to download the program directly. when i try to mount the .dmg, i get an ‘invalid checksum’ error. is there something i’m doing wrong? thanks!

pressed “skip” while verifying to get to the installer. after going for a bit, it stopped and said the program was counterfeit, even though i downloaded it from your link.
redownloaded the dmg. still had to skip verification. it installed this time, but the program won’t launch. no error messages or anything. just no response from the application at all.
Hello Tim, there are absolutely no counterfeits here – all of these programs are downloaded direct from Adobe’s servers… They don’t come from anywhere else, and that’s the only (safe) way to do it.
If you’re getting an ‘invalid checksum’ error on your file, then you may possibly have an incomplete or corrupted download. You could try again with a different browser or computer, and don’t use Wi-Fi – it’s slower and less reliable for large files downloaded in such a manner.
Every time new features are added to these CC apps, are these links automatically updated as well?
That’s a great question Francisco. The answer is, it depends. If it’s a major (like annual) upgrade to the CC apps, then yes, the links will be updated. But normally, for smaller updates, the CC direct download links will not be changed…
Instead, it works like a lot of other software packages do – you download and install the “base” version, and then it updates itself automatically to the latest-and-greatest release available.
So for example, after installing Photoshop 14.0 (which is ‘CC’ 2013) here, the application will check for any updates online and bring itself up to date.
Adobe is doing so many regular updates now (every month) that both them and us would go crazy if we had to change the primary links each time!
But next year would be Photoshop 15.0 (which will be ‘CC’ in 2014) and so then, yes, all the CC direct download links will be reset and republished. Plus all Creative Cloud members will receive a free upgrade at that time, as they did from CS6 to CC this year, and/or can continue to run and use the older version(s) as well.

download isn’t corrupt. it eventually installed, it just won’t run. same for audition cc. are they not compatible with mac osx 10.8.4?
i redownloaded it, and was able to install it, but it won’t run. same for audition cc (also not in my cc application). if they’re not in the cc application, does that mean they’re not compatible with 10.8.4? is my os x version too NEW?
Well, Adobe’s official CC System Requirements say that Mac OS X v.10.8 is supported… However, there are a number of other important specifications for the video apps like After Effects and Premiere Pro – so maybe check them out to be sure.
i checked and i meet and exceed all of the requirements. i ran the last versions of audition and after effects just fine. it also looks like AI CS6 and not AI CC is in my CC apps. doesn’t make sense……
Sorry Tim, that’s really strange and wish we could help more but we’ve never heard anything like it – so don’t know what to suggest, except to try downloading and/or installing using a different web browser and/or computer.

And how do I decide which one will be my program?
Do you mean, how do you decide which Premiere to use if you also install Premiere Pro CS6 to get access to Encore CS6?
Per the Encore with CC Help Page, you can uninstall Premiere CS6 and just leave Encore CS6 remaining on your computer to use together with the new CC apps in Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro CC.

Thanks for making these available, I am having issues with only one download, the Illustrator 7Z (1.8G) download. It continues to get to 395M then stalls. Is there a known issue with this file.
Given that I have got all the others and have a paid CC subscription, it is at least just one app, not all of them (building a replacement workstation with a very slow Internet, but access to high speed elsewhere) – but it is also the single largest and one I use regularly.

Hi Chris – no, there are no known issues with any of these CC downloads… All of them work fine for us and many others here.
If you’re having a problem with one of the free trials – especially the largest ones – then in our (long) experience with Adobe DDL, it’s probably your Internet connection… Try a different web browser, computer, or stronger/faster connection (avoid Wi-Fi).
If you download using a different machine (with better Internet), then you can always copy a CC installer to the actual system you want to put it on.
