That did not help. I even tried from different computers. Still download completes, but not able to extract.
Hey Cody, why don’t you take a look through this list of download tips and hopefully that will help you get around the issue you’re having.
Please update with new link for adobe muse
The version of Muse given on this page is the one that shipped at the same time as CS6…
If you want to direct download the current/latest release of Adobe Muse, then check out our Creative Cloud 2014 direct links.
i try to download the trial version of cs6 master collection for mac, but get this message instead:
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/STAM/CS6/osx10/MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg” on this server.
Reference #18.2c497b5c.1428051576.8136bbb
why is that, and how to get around it?
Hi Inti, that’s because you have to carefully follow the important download instructions before you click any of the CS6 direct links (it’s required by Adobe’s servers), otherwise you will get that exact message instead…
If you have any difficulties after doing that, then try a different web browser, another computer, or Internet connection.
Also, make sure you’re not blocking or filtering anything with your browser(s) – like cookies, downloads, or any sites or URLs – or running blocking utilities like Ghostery, AdBlock, or Disconnect. Adobe recommends temporarily turning those things off (including antivirus, firewalls, etc. – it’s the first step in those directions above). Some third-party download managers or other utilities may also interfere with the process.
If you’re still stuck, check out this list of download tips we put together to help.
Then to complete the installation, you must have Administrator privileges on your computer, plus your security software must allow you to install programs.
I was trying to download the Audition Extras, but your link seems to be broken. It redirects to a blank page.
Yikes! Adobe moved it without warning or forwarding…
Not to worry though, we dug around and found the new location for the Audition Downloads (with thousands of uncompressed, royalty-free audio sound effects and music loop files) – and have updated the link in the article with the new correct page address.
Thanks so much for the heads-up Bill, really appreciate it!
After downloading the Photoshop files from the above download link, the Photoshop program fails to install. The error msg that appears states that files may be missing. I’ve noticed that the .exe file is 1200KB while the .exe file for Illustrator and InDesign is 1235KB. Perhaps the .exe file for Photoshop is corrupt. If it is would you replace it and send an email to me that it has been replaced.
Thank you.
Hello Jim, the reason you’re getting that “files are missing” error is because for many of the CS6 programs on Windows, you need to download two files for the installer (not just one).
So take a look back up at the chart of direct links above and you’ll see that you also need to download a “File 2” for the Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign tools that you want.
For more help, see this previous comment.
I am unable to download this Photoshop CS6, and i need it for a course I’m taking that links me to this page directly. Please help?
Hi Darius, what problem did you have specifically – can you share a little more detail?
Did you carefully follow the important download directions given above, before clicking on the links?
Hey do you have a ps cs6 patcher? where can i find it?
Yes Zakk, you will find the patches/updates to Photoshop CS6 here for Windows and here for Mac.
I purchased two courses, the Photoshop one and the Web Animation one … I have my Adobe account and I am following the instructions above, but no matter which one I click on I get a message “Oops! This link appears to be broken.”
Also, the other instruction is ‘5. Download the files either by clicking directly on the DDL links, or by right-clicking and choosing “Save Link As…” on the popup menu – and save all files to the same place’
when right clicking there is no “Save Link As” option .. there is a “Save Target” but that doesn’t work either.
I am obviously a beginner for both of these courses, and being so am finding the instructions difficult and the method is not very straightforward.
Really need to have a 1. click this, 2. then click this ……
Sorry Coleen, unfortunately those are the requirements set by Adobe’s servers in order to allow/enable the download links… Otherwise, these CS6 installers cannot be accessed directly offsite.
But it sounds like something with your browser or system is blocking the access. We’d suggest reading our reply above to Inti and see if that helps.
Probably the biggest thing is to temporarily turn off anything that might be interfering (like third-party security software or blockers/filters), which is what Adobe recommends.
Or sometimes just trying another web browser (or a different computer) will do the trick, while still following those same download instructions.
But the direct links here definitely all do work fine, and many people use them every day. Hope that helps!
Trying is one more time as my previous comment/question was not replied to or even shows up here.
I bought 2 courses via Groupon … one is the Adobe Photo Shop and the other is Adobe Dreamweaver.
I have followed the instructions very, very carefully and keep getting to step 4 where it does not instantly download anything … step 5 where you can right click and save link to …. I don’t get that option instead my option is to ‘save target to’ which doesn’t work either.
I get around on a computer pretty good but don’t have an knowledge or experience with either of these programs and am definitely not an IT.
In my opinion many of the people purchasing/signing up for these courses are not experts and need more simplified instructions … in my case Step 1 press this link, Step 2 press this link and that’s just it.
Can anyone help me? I need to have my courses activated by the end of May before they expire … thanks
Hello Coleen, your previous comment was posted here – and our response can be seen here above.

Yes, that’s the exact message you’ll get from Adobe’s servers if you don’t follow the download instructions above first, before clicking on any of the CS6 direct links.
I tried to download but when I clicked on the files, it said that my access was denied… argh… I really love Photoshop but it just won’t download
Hey Tiger, just gotta follow the download directions first. See previous comment.
i really love all the design software’s, but i really find it to download especially the books. But i will be grateful to have them.
I tried to use Encore CS6 on Windows 8.1 64-bit, but it didn’t work. If I try to create a new project or open an existing one, I get this error message:
“Adobe Encore has encountered an error.
[..\..\src\AMEPresetProber.cpp-270]”
Any idea to solve this problem?
Sorry Domi, we haven’t heard that one before, but here are some suggestions to try!
I downloaded both File1 and File2 PS6 for Windows, and saved them both in the same folder. One was saved as an application, and the other was saved as a text document. When I tried running the application I received a pop-up saying, that the file archive part is missing. Is there something I am doing wrong?
Hey Bernie, it looks like your web browser dropped or changed a file extension(s) when downloading… That happens sometimes, especially when using IE (Internet Explorer).
So on Windows, make sure the first (small) file has a .exe extension and the second (large) file has a .7z extension. If not, then just rename the file(s) to add back the extension(s) at the end, and you should then be able to proceed from there.
can you help me? I was able to download just fine. When I tried to install for trial, it said I had an illegal copy and asked if I wanted to report it or go to support.
I had signed up and it said welcome. I used Revo to uninstall, but i noticed after reinstall that I had been sent a verification email to my gmail account which I never use. I dont remember it saying I was going to be sent that or I would have looked.
Would this have made a difference you think with it not recognizing the download as legitimate?
Should I go through the download again or try to reinstall the file on my computer? I dont want to waste another hour or two so Im asking for help
Somehow that messed with my PSD files. luckily I didnt lose them, just in the open window they show as a white page looking thing but I can still open them. I currently use cs2
I was going to try to reinstall.
Hi Elizabeth, what exact message did you receive when you chose the free trial? Did you try to google that message?
Not sure about what’s happened with your computer, but this page may also help:
Why did my Adobe trial software expire early?
As for opening your PSD files, it sounds like your Windows file associations may have gotten messed up somehow, but that should be easily fixed.
Redownloading and/or reinstalling may also help, as well as using the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove any traces of a failed install.
Hi, is the CS6 Photoshop version the one you have?
Thanks
Yes Andres, Photoshop CS6 is given in the table above, and you can still buy it direct from Adobe.
I downloaded both files 1 and 2 to a new folder together. I can’t open file 2 (text file) as it is too large for Notepad and Microsoft Office. When I try to open file 1 I get this message: “The file archive part of Adobe Photoshop CS6 is missing. You need all the parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe Photoshop CS6. Please download all parts.”
Hey there Sarah, sometimes that can happen where your browser (especially IE) can drop or change the file extension(s) when downloading… In that case, your computer might not know how to open it, or might think it’s a text file instead.
If that happens, you would need to rename the file(s) to add back the proper file extension(s). On Windows, File 1 is always a .exe file, and File 2 (if present for the application) is a .7z file.
Can’t download Premiere Pro CS6 :(
Hey Tyler, what issue are you having exactly?
hey pro your website link is not working plz provide working link for me plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
send to my email
plzzzzzzzzzzzzz send working link
Hey Sudha, the direct links here all still work, you just have to make sure to carefully follow the download directions first (before clicking), or the download won’t start and you’ll get an access or permissions denied message instead.
(Sorry, it’s a requirement of Adobe’s servers.)
If you do that but still have difficulty, then try a different web browser or another computer, while still keeping to those instructions.
hey, pro you have given a link right; i entered that in mozilla, chrome, maxthon, browsers but it shows as below:
Access Denied

It’s here, above. You have to follow the instructions given in the article, my friend, otherwise you’ll get that “denied” message.
Please see our previous comment if you are having any difficulties.
Awesome, you still have this page and keep it updated, I remember I downloaded Master Collection from here quite a while ago.
Cheers man!
Sure Johnny, glad to help!
Hello Pro,
Do you know if there is a roll-up patch for CS6 Production Premium? Or, do I need to download all of the individual updates/patches for each product? For example, download and install the updates for PhotoShop, then do the same for Premiere Pro, and repeat for every product within the suite.
Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
Sorry Steven, the CS6 updates are available on a per-product basis only, with no roll-ups or service packs offered…
Generally, just running “Updates” from the Help menu will find the relevant updates, or you can use the direct download links for all the CS6 updates/patches if you want to keep a backup or complete set of offline installers.
Thanks man, this saved me a whole lot of trouble!
