Read through the instructions dozens of times, and have now spent 4 hours on this site trying to install these files. Downloaded Files 1 and 2 in the correct categories. However, still getting the error message that something is missing. As suggested, I renamed the .txt file to .7z, but it STILL is not working. Unfortunate, as I am using a military proxy server and also cannot connect through Adobe’s Application Manager and Download Assistant. This would have been my last chance at downloading the program legally, but it does not work.
Hi Monica, trying to download these Adobe programs any other way than legally is a really bad idea…
What is the exact error message you are getting? Maybe if you posted that we could help.
If you have two files downloaded, the smaller-sized one should be the .exe file, while the large one should have a .7z extension. If you use a browser other than Internet Explorer, it usually works better to avoid losing the file extensions (which happens sometimes with IE).
good product of editing
access denied all the time, I can not download cs5 – cs6 for 2 weeks…I do not know why….?
Hi, have you carefully followed the download instructions given in the article above – and if still no luck, checked out this list of suggestions to try?
+1
ProDesign did you confirm by clicking the link? Access Denied.
Different browser and same problem, it’s a response from the web server – did permissions change since yesterday? this was working then.
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/PHSP/12/win32/Photoshop_12_LS1.exe” on this server.

Yes, just tested them again and all of the above direct links continue to work and download fine when following the instructions in the post…
See this list of download tips if you are continuing to have difficulties.
Hello – I’ve downloaded the Mac Version of CS5 Design Premium a number of times now. I keep getting “DesignPremiumCS5.dmg not recognized.” I’ve looked into the other links that you have sent people to check out but none seem to have any answer. I am using Chrome to download this. Since I’ve already downloaded this 4 times tonight (all giving me the same error) can you please suggest a fix or perhaps verify that the download file you’re hosting is complete?
Thanks
Greetings Scott, we don’t host any of these trial files ourselves – they all download direct from Adobe’s servers… We just tested the links you mention and they all continue to work fine on our end.
According to Apple Support Communities, that error message “dmg not recognized” typically indicates a corrupt or incomplete download. See some of the tips suggested to other commenters above, but most important for you would be to try to use a different (stronger and faster and more reliable) Internet connection (with a cable and not Wi-Fi).
It is telling me that I don’t have permission to access the links. Can you tell me why?
Hey there John, are you carefully following the download instructions given in the article above?
I have downloaded a trial here before and now I’m denied and I have not changed anything. I am signed into adobe and cookie blocking is off as before.
Hello Walter, sorry you’re having difficulties – that happens sometimes… It worked for you before meaning you’re obviously following all the instructions, so #9 on our list of download tips suggests the best thing to do is just to wait a while.
Hey I want to thank you very much for these links. I recently moved and could not find my CS5 DVDs. My system crashed and I desperately needed to reload Premiere to finish a school project.
I followed your instructions and it is downloading just fine so far.
Thank You!
That’s great Doug – glad to hear it’s a help, and thanks for letting us know!
If you’re having trouble downloading the files, try this method: sign in with Adobe ID, download Adobe Air using Firefox, run the Air installer, and then try to download.
This was a solution found by this poster in another thread:
@ MrGeRM
For those getting the “You don’t have permission to access…” error,
other than just signing into your Adobe account,
try to download something for the Adobe site like their “AdobeDownloadAssistant” as directed on this site…
After the file starts downloading, you may cancel it and try the direct links on this site…
I was having the same problem…
[You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/PHSP/12/win32/Photoshop_12_LS1.exe” on this server. Reference #18.6fe8dfad.1344369226.42fa04d9],
even after signing into my Adobe account,
and that is how I managed to get around it…
DesignPremiumCS5.dmg not recognized, issues, I bet that’s an incomplete download, usually browsers will indicate a download is complete even when it is not completely downloaded, so trying using a download manager…
And for Monica, can’t you tell exactly what’s missing… maybe it’s your computer and not a firewall issue…
Otherwise thanks for the links @ Prodesigntools.
Sure Sum – and thanks for adding your suggestions!
i need flash cs5 or cs6 …how do i get a free download
Hi Rajkumar, all Adobe CS6 free trials (including Flash Professional) are available via direct download links.
@ Anonymous
Getting the server error as well here, something isn’t right. File 1 for Mac CS5 doesn’t work at all.
Just tested the Mac links again and they all continue to work fine on our end… That issue typically crops up if the download instructions aren’t closely followed.
it worked thanks
I downloaded both files and when I try to unzip the file using winzip it says it’s no longer accessible. What does this mean?
Hmm, not sure Kayla – we’ve never heard anything like that before… What is the exact error message?
You needn’t use WinZip anyway – just download both files above and run the .exe (File 1) to get started with the process.
i want to download cs5 for fedora on centOS, can u all give me a link
Sorry Jigme, Adobe Creative Suite is not supported on Linux.
I’ve followed the instructions above, exactly as they say and it still appears me the Access Denied message…
Unfortunately that happens occasionally Luis, but does usually resolve itself – see the comments with Walter just above.
This worked for me in Sept. 2012. I had to make sure I was signed into Adobe first. It also worked better when I left-clicked the download links and not tried to open it in a new tab.
I have never known it so hard to download a free trial of software, it has worked twice for me before on different links but takes weeks to decide whether it wants me to have it or not… Is there any chance of getting new downloads any time soon? It’s not that I haven’t read those instructions 100 odd times either.
Sorry Kai that you’re having troubles. We wish Adobe’s trials were easier to work with too. For example, it would be simpler if they were always one file on Windows (like most install packages), instead of usually two. It would also be great if their servers didn’t occasionally lock people out, which would make our jobs easier and fewer comments to answer here. But unfortunately that’s the way it is, and there’s nothing we can do about those things. Fortunately, most people do still direct download these trials with no problem, and we ourselves use or test these links every day.
In any event, here’s a list of 9 additional suggestions that hopefully can help you. You can also try Adobe’s CS6 direct download links to see if you have better luck with those trials.
Thank you but they decided to work eventually, but the first time they worked I wasn’t even signed in to my Adobe account so I don’t know how they downloaded then.
Great, glad to hear it worked out for you Kai, as we hoped it eventually would.
Hi, I am trying to download CS5.5 Design Premium for Mac. I have already purchased the product and acquired a serial number. I need to download so I can get started, but the link opens a blank page even when I have logged into my Adobe account and I have also turned off my firewall.
Please assist
Hey there Iyvon, check out the different suggestions on this list of download tips.
It worked!
Two years ago, I bought Design Standard CS5 for both MAC and PC but I didn’t get MAC installer disc because when I bought it, I only asked for PC version… Now, I have CS6 on my PC. My brother who has Mac Pro Quad-Core wanted Photoshop CS5 on it. Anyway, long story short, I asked Adobe, they couldn’t help me, I asked the vendor, couldn’t help me. I couldn’t find it on any torrent site… but here… I followed the instructions to download, after 1 hour of D/L time, I installed it and worked! Thank you!
That’s great Corey, and thanks for your comment – but keep in mind these are only trials and if he wants to buy Photoshop he should get the new CS6, which is better anyway – and definitely not put himself at the mercy of the legions of secondhand eBay scammers…
And it’s no problem with backwards compatibility as Photoshop CS6 is interoperable with CS5.
PS – Avoid Adobe torrents at all costs, they are a really bad idea.
Sorry for the late response. When I try to run file 1, it says that there is a problem extracting the file and to try redownloading it, but when I do (and I have deleted them and downloaded them several times) it doesn’t work. I’m so confused :(
Hello again Kayla, for that message please see this earlier comment and response.
The links are not working for CS5 Design Premium. I am logged into Adobe.com and am still getting access denied error.
Hi Richard, just re-tested and everything continues to work fine on our end – all links download the files from Adobe’s servers no problem when carefully following the instructions…
Check out this list of download suggestions if you’re having trouble.
Thank you SOOOO much for posting this. Didn’t work at first but then I logged into Adobe and everything was fine. I had my serial number but Adobe wouldn’t tell me how to download CS5 Design Standard. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
Sure, you’re welcome Katie. Most of the customer service reps don’t seem to know where all the trials live on Adobe’s servers, so glad to help out.
