When I click the link I get a permissions message. What am I doing wrong?

go to adobe.com, create/sign in start a download of a trial version then cancel it and click the link from this site

To ProDesign (and everyone else):
If you are able to successfully run Set-up.exe from the folder the ….7z file creates, you do not need to do anything with the ….exe file. Soumya Nair helped me successfully install CS5 Design Premium today without any glitches, and that’s what she said.

Hey ProDesign, I downloaded both of the files needed but when I try to run the “MasterCollection_CS5_5_LS1.exe” file, an error pops up and says,:
“The file archive part of Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection. Please download all parts.”
I’ve read all the download tips and everything but nothing seems to fix my issue. The error says I need all the parts in the same folder, but what folder is it? And what are the parts it’s referring too? Sorry for so many questions, I just really need some assistance. Thank you very much.
Hi Jake, it doesn’t matter which folder but it should be on the disk drive where you’re installing the software to. On your Desktop might be convenient, and both files (parts) need to be together.
Then if you’re still getting that message, follow the steps given in this earlier comment and response.

I’m trying to trial Master Collection, but my download is stuck on 74% at 4gb. and then my internet speed just drops. this has never happened before :S
Not sure why Charlie – but these are really large files compared to almost any other download out there, so if it doesn’t complete then you could try a different browser, computer, or Internet connection (with a cable and not Wi-Fi).
Hello, I am trying to install CS5 onto my new laptop (old laptop is dying). I purchased the student copy last year through download. I have downloaded File 1 and 2 from your site, but I am unsure what to do next. I tried to follow the installation instructions, but when I double-click the link and try to open file 1, it asks me what program I want to open in. I am just not sure what to do next because I do not know how to get it opened and running. Thank you so much for any help. I am very frustrated and just want to be able to use the software I paid for. I spent two hours on the phone with Adobe yesterday and they can not/will not help at all!

Oh thank you! I had CS5 for these but then I uninstalled them by accident! I own the old product keys, I’ve been looking everywhere and I found this site! My trial for CS6 ran out – then I downloaded CS5.5 from another place but it didn’t work. I couldn’t find CS5.0 and then I found it!!!! Never delete this section, thank you :)

I purchased Photoshop CS5 a year ago. I had to reboot my PC. Now I have my key for CS5 but not the software. I tried to download it via your website, but this is what I get when I click on File 1 or 2

Sounds like you may have gotten a corrupt or incomplete download Tommy – what type of Internet connection are using? These are very large files so you need a fast service (and not Wi-Fi).

Salut Erick, you will find that CS5 product trial right here and can activate it permanently with your valid purchased serial key – but even if you have an Adobe ID and are logged in, you would still need to carefully follow the download directions given near the top of the article.
I followed all the instructions, logged in, set cookie, downloaded the file, then clicked on the installer, and get an error that I do not have the “the file archive part of cs5 is missing”

I have followed the download instructions exactly and downloaded the one file for Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro as that is all I need. When I double-click the downloaded file, AcroPro90_efg, it asks which program do you want to use to open file and nothing happens. These is only one file for 9 Pro and it doesn’t seem to be any exe file. What should I do? Thanks
Hi Phil, actually that is the EXE file, it’s just that your browser dropped the file extension when downloading… (did you happen to use IE?)
But no matter, just rename it to add back the “.exe” extension and you should be good to go…
Then, just double-click or open that executable file.
