Thank you for your help. I did it again using Mozilla and it all worked correctly. Thank you again. Phil
Glad to hear you got it going Phil, and thanks for circling back to let us know.
Folks,
Download does not work with Safari, use Firefox or Chrome.
Why do I get this when I tried and download a trial?
Access Denied
Hello Anthony, you just need to carefully follow the download instructions in the article… they’re critical for success, before trying to click on any of the links.
Then if you’re having difficulties, then try a different browser, computer, or Internet connection (no Wi-Fi) – or check through this list of download tips.
Hi, I tried to download the CS5 Design Premium but it told me that I don’t have permission…
I tried Firefox and Chrome, and both of them didn’t work.
Please help.
Hey there Henrietta, please see the previous comment, especially the first part – thanks.
i need help!!!
do i need file 1 + file 2 to download dreamweaver cs5?
theres no file 2??
how do i download this
Actually, no – you’re not going crazy. There are a few products like Dreamweaver where everything is contained in one single (.exe) file. Nobody knows why Adobe did it this way – splitting some packages up into .exe + .7z and others not, but that’s the way it is…
Just go with whatever’s there, run the .exe you download, and you should be good no matter what.
okay, thank you so much!!
if it is downloading is the program working? cause i’ve been waiting for 2 hours (slow computer) and its got 30 mins left, does this mean it will work or can i still get problems such as access denied do them messages show up before or after?
Any such messages would show up before, so if you’re seeing the download happening then it sounds like it’s working and you’re on your way.
once i downloaded the dreamweaver file, what do i do?!
Just run (double-click) the .exe file, is all – and then follow the directions from there to install the program and begin your free trial.
it said “unknown network error” :( what does that mean -.-
that was during download
Okay, it’s working :) Thanks for your help, really appreciated it.
Glad to hear you got it going Zaira, and thanks for letting us know.
Hi, I have downloaded both files, but when I double-click on the .7z file, it does not open onscreen instructions. It just asks me what program I would like to use to open it with.
Hi Leah, please see this earlier reply for that issue.
@ ProDesignTools
I tried to DL CS5 and followed the instructions carefully and I still get the Access Denied message.
I’ve tried different browsers and the same message. Really frustrating – can anyone help?
Try a different computer or Internet connection – or simply wait a while as sometimes Adobe’s servers will “lock you out,” especially after an aborted download. Then clear everything and start from the top again.
Also check out this list of suggestions.
Hi, I downloaded both files for the Flash Professional CS5 trial version, but the first one isn’t in an .exe format… not exactly sure why. Windows keeps asking me which program to use in order to open it, but I don’t understand why it isn’t an executable file. I tried re-downloading, and I also tried with the Western Europe version… It still won’t download as an .exe file, but it does download .The size is 1200KB… is that normal? When I check its properties, it says the file type is “file” and that it is an Adobe Extractor.
Thanks for any response–you guys are awesome.
@Satakieli
Never mind… All I had to do was go in and change the extension of the file… *feels stupid* It works great. Thanks again :)
Yes, sometimes that happens – particularly when using Internet Explorer to download these trials… but as you discovered, it’s an easy fix to just rename the file back with the “.exe” extension. Glad you got it sorted out.
I successfully downloaded the CS5 Production Premium dmg for Mac OS. However, when I try to run it, I get a message saying:
“The following disk images couldn’t be opened.
ProductionPremium_CS5_Ls7.dmg – not recognized”
If it helps, I’m running Mountain Lion 10.8.2.
Thanks.
Welcome Ben, for what that message means on your Mac, please see this previous discussion.
when i tried again on mozilla it said access denied. why is this?
Not sure – maybe you didn’t carefully follow all of the download instructions near the top of the article?
I love whoever created this, I want to high five him!! It’s really nice going back to the previous versions of Flash instead of using the new ones!
Thanks for the nostalgia and props on these older trials Aiden, but there are so many improvements in CS6 over prior releases that we are going to stick with the latest.
@ Samuel Lee
hello,
what do you mean by “you have to get from WinSoft” ?
Hey there Ron, here’s the answer to your question about WinSoft and the Middle Eastern versions of Creative Suite (in Arabic, Greek, and Hebrew languages).
Thank you, i will follow that
Hi, I had Adobe CS5 Master Collection on my laptop which has since crashed. Adobe advises they no longer supply the link for download of CS5 but I’m happy with CS5 & just want what I paid for. It was downloaded from a link not a disk.
I have my product license key. Can u tell me where I can find an alternative link, or do I have to have the source discs & then use my key. If so, where can I find them. Sorry, very vague & frustrated.
Greetings Hayley, did you check your online Adobe account? If you purchased via a download then Adobe retains your software available in your account for three years – surprising they didn’t tell you that…
But in any event, using the links above should accomplish the same purpose. Just follow the download instructions in the article, and choose the product you own. Your valid purchased serial number should permanently activate the trial version when asked.
And, when you’re done, be sure to make a backup of your installation files in a safe place, preferably offline like burning a copy to DVD.
Hope this helps!
I would really like to thank you for providing these links. The trials have been allowing me to survive in school up to this point, but I have recently bought the Master Collection CS5 (for $300)! Yay!
Sure Janelle, glad to help… but please be extremely careful as that sounds like a deal “too good to be true” – and unless it was from someone you know personally then the software is likely to be bogus.
Thank you
When I download photoshop, it asked what program i want to use to open the file and winrar does not work – what program should i use?
Hi Joseph, for that please see these comments with Satakieli above.
The links for Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 are not working. It directs me to an “Access Denied” page. Do you have another link perhaps?
No, they’re working – just make sure you carefully follow the directions at the top of this page.
