Hello, the server (cs5 design premium version) is unreachable. i am logged on the adobe-website – so that is not the problem. is this a steady problem?
Hi Arne, we just retested the CS5 direct links here and they all work fine on our end…
Are you carefully following the important download instructions in the article above? If not, then you’ll get a message like that one.
Then if there are any difficulties, try a different browser, computer, or Internet connection (wired if possible, instead of Wi-Fi) – each time following those directions.
We also put together a list of download tips for readers who get stuck. These are large files so do sometimes take a few attempts to get complete and intact.
Thank you so much for this information. I purchased Acrobat 9 which was all I ever needed, changed computers and…I was stuck until I got to your site. I was able to download Acrobat 9 in the era of Acrobat XI…you saved me $200 that I don’t have. THANKS…from a puppeteer/musician.
Hello Valerie, you’re very welcome – glad to help out!
@ProDesignTools
I followed the instructions carefully, but the problem is not anything that is covered there, but I cannot reach the server at all. The website does not load (also not the main page) – have you ever heard that the site and/or their server cannot be reached from certain countries?
No, there are no geographic restrictions at all – everything works fine all over Europe and the world.
What’s more likely is your web browser is blocking something like cookies, sites, antivirus, firewall, filtering, etc… See the very first step in the instructions we give, and/or try a different browser.
First of all, thank you for the incredible page that lets you download earlier versions of the Creative Suite. It’s amazing. Anyways, I think I found an issue. The “Flash Professional CS5” “File 1” link doesn’t give me a file that does anything. I download it and it finishes in a second and I can’t do anything with it.
If I’m doing something wrong let me know what it is but I don’t think that file is the actual file that needs to be there. Thanks!
Sure Dave, glad to help… To get it to work, you’ll need to download both files there on the page – #1 (a .exe file) and #2 (a .7z file) – and put them into the same folder on your computer.
Yes, needing two files to install a program is unusual but that’s the way Adobe often does it.
Sometimes your web browser (especially IE) may drop one of the file extensions when downloading, and if so then you would need to rename the file to add it back.
Hope this helps!
The article says these are direct links from adobe’s servers, but it looks like the links are all “https://prodesigntools.com/…”. How can we know these are legit copies? Thanks.
I downloaded the mac version of After Effects CS5, but it looks like the file was from prodesigntools.com instead of Adobe. I think I right-clicked/save-as. When hovering over your links, they don’t appear to take you to Adobe’s site (it looks like the files are on your own site). Should I have just clicked on the link instead of right-clicking? I know there’s a way to still install the file… but I’d rather see that the file is from Adobe. Thanks for your help! The Adobe site is not working for me for some reason, and your site is the ONLY place I could find what I needed!
Hey guys, the files are definitely the original and authentic files coming from Adobe’s servers – we’re partners with Adobe and in fact the Adobe Help Team refers customers to our site all the time…
You can easily see this in your browser – for example, Firefox and IE will tell you explicitly that the download is coming from an adobe.com server when you click on the link and the browser asks you to confirm the download before starting.
Chrome will tell you this too if you select Show all downloads… in your browser window (lower right corner), or click Control/Command-J, or choose Downloads from the Chrome settings menu after it has begun.
As for which way to download the software using the links, both clicking directly on the link or right-clicking “Save As…” will work, either way is fine.
Getting this error when I try to download CS5 Master Suite for Windows:
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/STAM/CS5/win32/MasterCollection_CS5_LS1.exe” on this server.

I am looking for CS5 (not 5.5) download as I have the serial number but no CD’s.
I am getting “access denied” but I am signed in to Adobe, did all that you said. tried another browser, another computer, I own CS5, even made a new adobe account to see if that will work.
I have an Adobe web premium serial number for the Web Premium CS5. Whenever i try to download it from your site it says it is CS5 until the end it says CS6. When I try to put in my code it says It is wrong and not a match.
Please help. I would really like my Web Premium up and running on my computer
Greetings, the links all still work fine (just tested yet again) – so if you’re having any difficulties getting the downloads to start, then see this previous comment to Arne just above on this page – in particular check out the part mentioning the list of tips we put together to help get you going.
Strong Work. Thanks very much!
I purchased CS 5 from a reseller back in 2011. I have the license number for it. My laptop is 7 years old, so at some point I will need to transfer the CS5 files to a new laptop. The reseller sent me this link when I emailed them about this issue.
Hey Sandyy, you would follow these instructions:
How Do You Transfer Adobe Software to a New Computer or Laptop?
I have a legit Design Premium CS5 product key but I lost the CDs. I tried downloading both file 1 and 2 from above list but I have problems with extracting the files. Could you please help?
Hi Jen, what is the exact message you get?
Make sure both your File 1 and File 2 are in the same folder, and on the same disk that you want to install the products to… Also make sure that #1 is a “.exe” file and #2 is a “.7z” file (on Windows), as sometimes your web browser can drop the extension when downloading and you’d have to rename the file(s) as necessary.
Then you run File 1 (double-click the .exe) to start the process of extracting the files and installing the software.
Man this helped me out so much. I already purchased this and changed computers. I have the serial and couldn’t find the download. Thanks so much man!
Glad to hear it helped, and thanks for letting us know! Always nice to hear stories like yours.
I’m able to get the CS5 master edition for mac downloading; however, it’s telling me it can’t mount it after the dowload finished. What could be causing this?
Unfortunately Weston, a message that the disk image could not be mounted is probably due to the download being corrupted or incomplete somehow… These are large files and that happens sometimes. Try again with a stronger/faster Internet connection if possible (wired instead of Wi-Fi), a different web browser, and/or another computer.
Hi, I completed the download of DW CS5 successful to my Mac and opened the folder ‘Dreaweaver_11_LS1.dmg’. The adobe DW icon appears but when clicked another Finder page opens with an ‘Install’ Application. When this is clicked I get the following message “Install can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.”
Hi, I have solved question myself – it was due to the download settings in System Preferences. Thanks
Yes, that’s Apple “GateKeeper” which comes up for older software.
Tried it in Chrome, didn’t work. Tried it in Firefox, worked. Thanks!
I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 and lost every single program I had on my computer. Windows’ Support was absolutely no help at all in recovering any of my missing software. I downloaded the files from your site here and when I try to install them, I get an error and a directive to restart my computer. I have tried removing every adobe file I can find and starting over 3 times already. Please HELP!!!
Hello Ryan, sorry to hear about your difficulties. The first thing you probably need to do on your upgraded computer is download and run Adobe’s Creative Suite/Cloud Cleaner Tool… That will remove everything automatically from your system that has to do with Adobe, after what already you’ve done manually.
Then reboot, and try these CS6 installer download links again. If you have any further problems, then pop back and post the exact error message here and we’ll do everything we can to help.
Hi i managed to download adove cs5 but when i try and run it on my laptop as a trial it wants me to insert the cd to continue installation.
how can i fix this problem??
cheers
Ken
Greetings Ken, the solution to that is here.
Awesome !!!!
I was already logged in Adobe.com and when I clicked on these links… the download started.
mwaha xD thanks for the links
I love adobe trials straight coming through official servers.
Good work keep it up …
Have a nice day
This looks like one huge scam attempt, and all comments look fake. Thanks but no thanks.
LOL – you’re joking, right? Some people. We’ve been official Adobe Partners since 2006 and these direct download links are original and completely authentic… Wish the comments were fake because it would make less work answering for us. :) But hey, feel free to do what you want.
@ProDesignTools
haha there is always one. keep up the good work guys, from a real person. haha
Ken
This works perfectly! Thank you so much!
Hi, I am trying to download software I downloaded just last December/November when I got my new machine, and before I overwrote the disk header file with all my files on it.
Why can I not do that now? I follow the link and get a message saying I have no permissions. And yet, I just logged in.
Thanks. I’d really like to restore that install backup for the next time I foul up and erase all my files again (tongue in cheek, really hope I never pull that one again)
Thanks for your help.
Hey there Michael, it’s not enough to just be logged in with Adobe – did you also remember to carefully follow the download directions, which are required to access the links on their servers? (otherwise you’ll get denied access)
@ProDesignTools
The great thing about Paranoid Conspiracy Theories re: scams is that they tend to be self-reinforcing. So, any response to them can be characterized (don’t ask why, it just is) as “exactly what we’d expect you to say.”
That said, I don’t really know what they are talking about as far as this looking like a scam site. I know it’s not because, when I got my new Mac this Winter, I was able to reinstall my Adobe software from here.
I wouldn’t even be dignifying the scam comments with a response if A) I left a post earlier about having download issues which clicking about a bit seems to have remedied, and B) In searching for my own comment from about ten minutes ago I had not failed and – seeing this bit of silliness at the bottom of the page – felt inclined to give something a bit more value added than – my comment needs to be deleted, but I cannot find it.
So, hang in there. All the crazies get to the internet at some point. Keep up the good work. The page looks fine and dandy to me.
