@Kylekc239
nevermind…i figured it out. you have to do EXACTLY as the instructions at the top tell you to do. Including doing everything in Chrome (or Mozilla… i used Chrome). I stress exactly. It worked perfectly. Thank you to HP…i never thought i would get this stuff.
Hey, that’s great! Thanks for posting back to let us know.
Hello,
I am not able to download any software its showing Access Denied for this server, so kindly help. Thanks in advance.
Hi Sudhindra, please follow the instructions above very carefully, and if you’re still having issues, please clear your browser cache and cookies, or try a different browser, computer, and/or Internet connection – thanks!
The Acrobat 9 Pro link is broken, can you please fix it?
Thank you kintesh – you were right! We just moved our entire site to a brand new fast host this morning, and there was one small configuration change needed to reenable the downloads from Adobe…
But, it’s done now and fixed – and you should have no further problems. Just follow the step-by-step download instructions and you’ll be set. Thanks for the heads-up!
My net connection breaks intermittently cutting off the download. It resumes from beginning. How can I download this with a download manager? Please suggest.
Thanks,
Sym
Hello sym, if you have a shaky Internet connection and can’t use another one (for example, using a cable instead of Wi-Fi), then a download manager should help with restarting after interruptions…
That’s part of the philosophy that Adobe had in mind when it chose to use the Akamai Download Manager as a standard for its site. Unfortunately the Akamai DLM sometimes doesn’t work for people, doesn’t start, or hangs the download. So that’s why we have this page here – to provide access to the same software on the same Adobe servers, but without any download manager in the middle.
So if you’ve already tried getting it straight from Adobe (using Akamai) and that doesn’t work for you, and the direct links here aren’t completing on your connection, then try using something else. You may wish to look through some of the alternative free DLM applications that are well rated on CNET, which in theory can help make downloading large files easier, and resume an interrupted transfer where it left off.
Hope this helps!
I notice the column for Acrobat 9 Pro for Macintosh is empty. Where can I find the trial installer? Thanks.
Greetings Tom, you’re right about that, sorry… you’ll find more about that here.
These won’t allow me on. I’ve done everything it’s asked. I want to get Flash Professional CS5. And CNET isn’t working. Akamai didn’t work either.
Welcome Timmy, we just tested those links and they are working fine on this end. Did you carefully follow the instructions above?
If you’re still having difficulty, see the recommendations in this step-by-step troubleshooting list for these downloads – thanks and hope that helps!
I keep getting a message stating “The file archive part of Adobe CS5 Premium Production is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe CS5 Production Premium. Please download all parts.”
I am confused as to what this means
Disregard my last comment. I understood what was wrong but now that I’m trying over again, it won’t let me. It’s stating that file 2 of Production Premium is either in unknown format or damaged.
Hi Krys, sorry you’re having difficulties – the CS5 trial downloads are large and sometimes do that. Please see the link in the comment just above yours for some suggestions which might help.
@ProDesignTools
I’ve done everything step-by-step but it still stops at 2Gb. I was using Firefox and it said File is corrupt
Hello again Krys, it sounds like you definitely might want to try a different browser, computer, or Internet connection (not Wi-Fi), if you can… If that doesn’t work, a third-party download manager might help (see CNET’s recommendations for a DLM). Good luck!
What is the deal with Adobe.com? I tried to download Photoshop CS5 from their page but got this “notify me” message:
Adobe product notification
Complete the following fields to be notified by email of new releases and trials of your favorite Adobe products.
Huh, why? I thought Photoshop was staying at CS5, and not CS5.5? Why did they take the existing trials down, if the new software isn’t released or available yet?
Well, I don’t understand it… but anyway it doesn’t matter because this page did the trick instead – thanks!
Hey there Alex, those are good questions, it does seem puzzling… We asked Adobe about it and here is their response:
Regardless, you’re not the only one – we are seeing questions out there like, “Where is the Photoshop CS5 trial?” and “Why can’t I find or download the Adobe CS5 trials?”, etc.
In any event, glad we could help out and good luck with it!
Thank you. I guess I find it strange that I have to go to a non-Adobe web site to find a link to download the CS5 trials back from Adobe.
Thank goodness for your direct link! The download simply won’t start at the “downloads” page but I finally managed to download via the direct link!

I recently try to download the newest version of Adobe Effects and was not able to. I do have an older computer mind you…It’s a Dell Windows XP Home Edition Model… In any case, would you be able to recommend an older version of Adobe Effects that could work for my computer?
Thx in advance.
Sure noirman, this article on After Effects CS4 should have all the answers for you… It will run on 32-bit computers including Windows XP.
Thanks for your question!
i need help… someone please…
Hi Blue, we’re here to help – what seems to be the problem?
I did everything in the instructions, but can’t seem to get anything to work with the Photoshop CS5 links. I downloaded both links, but neither is an EXE file. I’m signed in at Adobe, so I’m not sure what to do. I can’t open either file and I’m not too sure what I need to open them and get them to execute etc.
Welcome P.J. – you are probably using IE (Internet Explorer), which as mentioned in the article has a tendency to drop the extensions from the downloaded files…
All you have to do is rename the affected file(s) by adding back an “.exe” at the end – and then you should be able to run the Adobe CS5 trial installation.
Thanks and hope this helps!
I did use IE, but only because, for some reason, I couldn’t get anything to download with Firefox.
I changed it to an exe file on the one, but wasn’t sure if I needed to do so on both? The one that ends with “.7z?”
No, you keep the one that ends “.7z” – that’s the file archive that Adobe uses to contain everything, and the “.exe” extracts it.
Just run the .exe now and you should be good, the free trial should install for you.
Can anyone tell me the difference between Adobe Flash Builder 4 and Adobe Flash Professional CS5?
Greetings Arsh, thank you for your comment.
Adobe Flash Builder was renamed from “Flex Builder” two years ago… Adobe Flex is a software development kit (SDK) for the development and deployment of cross-platform rich Internet applications based on the Adobe Flash platform. Flex applications can be written using the Flash Builder IDE (Integrated Development Environment), or by using the freely-available Flex compiler from Adobe.
Adobe Flash Professional is an authoring program used to create multimedia content directly in Flash, used for adding animation, video, and interactivity to web pages and apps.
So to sum up, Flash Professional creates timeline-based animations and video, whereas Flash Builder creates Flex applications.
You didn’t ask, but Flash Catalyst is a third product that enables designers to create and build Flash applications without writing code – turning artwork into interactive projects.
Hope this helps!
Hey, i followed all of the steps but i still get the error of Access Denied with something telling me im not allowed to use this server. PLEASE HELP i cant download it from the site because they are in the process of updating it to after effects 5.5, and it only gives the pre-order option.
Hello redmond, please try clearing your browser cache and cookies, or try a different browser, computer, and/or Internet connection… Also make sure you’re not blocking cookies etc.
If you’re still having difficulty, see the recommendations in this step-by-step troubleshooting list for these CS5 downloads – thanks and hope that helps!
i’m trying really hard to download the latest version of adobe flash player from adobe’s download page… i’ve been sent to every link they do not work, can anyone tell me how i can get the flash player downloaded to my computer? now I don’t have any at all because it said to uninstall all other versions. I’ve had two online chat sessions with adobe support reps, which ended up giving me the same download links that do not work, flash player help download page. manual installer, what is wrong. i’m using ie 9 browser, windows 7 hp desktop all in one touchsmart computer. pls somebody help me
Sure penny, you may be getting tripped up by the Akamai Download Manager which Adobe uses in most of their links…
Try heading over to our page with the Flash Player 10.2 direct download links, and carefully follow the instructions there. That avoids the Akamai Manager and hopefully will do the trick for you.
Are the links above for Photoshop CS5 extended? Or is it the regular CS5?
Hi Nicole, good question. All of Adobe’s Photoshop trials are for Photoshop Extended – you install the complete version, and can try out all the features… Then you decide which you want to keep (Extended or regular) at the time of purchase.
So they don’t offer a trial download of “just” standard Photoshop CS5 – but all of the extra Extended features (3D, video, etc) are simply turned off if you don’t want them.
how do i log in
Welcome bradley, please carefully follow the instructions above, and if you’re still having trouble, read through some of the comments to see how others have resolved any difficulties – thanks!
Hi, I am a student and I want to try Adobe Flash Pro CS5 for learning. My system meets the requirements mentioned in the Adobe website and I have downloaded the trial version. I tried to install it but it didnt let me install while the setup was stopped on after 25% completion. Can you please help?
Hey there Taurus, please see this other post if you have any problems or errors installing Adobe CS5 – thanks!
once its about to start, it says “files are missing and you need all the files to start download” etc. what can i do?
Hello Eddie, make sure you follow the instructions above carefully, download all relevant trial files completely for your product, put the files all in the same directory, and install the product to the same disk where your files are located. Hope this helps.
i try to download illustrator, i choose “file 1” and it gives me the same message that i need to download other files. Can you give like steps to get out of this problem?
Eddie, if you’ve followed the instructions above carefully and are still having difficulties downloading the CS5 trials, please see the recommendations in this 8-step troubleshooting list – thanks and good luck!
What I don’t understand, is how CS5 Production Premium is so much larger of a file than CS5 Master Collection, even though fewer products are included.
Very astute question Joshua, thank you! Your reasoning is sound, but the answer is hidden… It’s because the packaging for Production Premium has more languages bundled in one, whereas Master Collection has different packages for different language sets.
Put another way, the link for PP is the same for all languages above (“LS7”), but MC has different file links for different language collections (“LS1” and “LS4”). So the PP download is larger because it includes all possible language localizations… It’s puzzling as to why Adobe does it this way for related products, but that’s just the way it is.
In any event, yes – Master Collection contains all of the CS5 products and that’s the most important… And yes, it’s the same with the new CS6 Direct Download Links!
Nice collection of download links. good that we don’t have to go to the adobe site, and their annoying download policy.
