17. I received the links but none of them seem to download the books. I am using IE11 and turned off pop-up blocker. They do not work in the latest Firefox browser for windows either.

    For the photoshop digital design book the links are not direct links, they are to html pages and none of the download links on these ages produce any pdf, they just open blank pages. In IE11 I checked the element and it says that the link “failed to load”.

    • Hello Cynthia, did you try any of the suggestions we gave in our previous reply to your first comment?

      We’re repeating them here to help out (and if anyone else has difficulties):

      Typically when someone has problems accessing the books, it’s because of an issue with the browser being used, or because there is something running on the desktop system that is restricting the web content. So the first thing to try is a different web browser – and/or another computer or device.

      Importantly, are you blocking or filtering anything with your browser(s) – like cookies, downloads, or any sites or URLs? Adobe recommends turning those things off…

      Or are you running any utilities that might restrict your web surfing – like Ghostery, AdBlock, or Disconnect? Or possibly your firewall, antivirus program (especially Kaspersky), or other third-party security software?

      Occasionally some folks have difficulty accessing the books but usually it’s because of over-aggressive software or utilities like these. We suggest temporarily turning off anything that might be interfering (as well as trying it with a different browser and/or computer).

      An alternative would be to try downloading the book PDF’s for mobile usage and reading with a tablet/iPad or smartphone/iPhone… That would avoid any issues with the desktop and then you could then share the books back to your computer using Dropbox, Box, or Creative Cloud online storage.

21. thank you for this offer, as i am going back to school after 30-35 years of no school and it looks like i am going to need all the help i can get. i am basically computer illiterate. again thank you adobe – i am having a hard time adjusting and comprehending all of this, and since i have been out of work for 7 years and have no wi-fi at home, anything helps!
