Hmm, that’s odd TD – because you do show up in our database, and the email with the links to the Adobe books should have been sent out to you automatically… However, we just resent it to you manually now.

I too have tried unsuccessfully to download the free books. I even reset my Adobe password. Now, it doesn’t like my e-mail address!
Hello Jerry, sorry to hear you’re having difficulties with the free Adobe books… Which one(s) are you referring to? Did you try using a different web browser, or another computer or device?
Typically when someone has problems accessing the books, it’s because of an issue with the browser being used, or because there is something running on the desktop system that is restricting the web content.
Are you blocking or filtering anything with your browser(s) – like cookies, downloads, or any sites or URLs? Adobe recommends turning those things off…
Or are you running any utilities that might restrict your web surfing – like Ghostery, AdBlock, or Disconnect? Or possibly your firewall, antivirus program (esp. Kaspersky), or other third-party security software?
Occasionally some folks have difficulty accessing the books but usually it’s because of over-aggressive software or utilities like these. We suggest temporarily turning off anything that might be interfering, -and/or- trying it with a different web browser or another computer.
An alternative would be to try downloading the book PDF’s for mobile usage and reading with a tablet/iPad or smartphone/iPhone… That would avoid any issues with the desktop and then you could then share the books back to your computer using Dropbox, Box, or Creative Cloud online storage.

It should be virtually immediate. As recommended in the previous comments above, be sure to check your promotions or bulk/junk folders as sometimes valid email is put there incorrectly.
You do show in our records as having the books delivered, but we just sent them to you again just in case.

No, there is no password or login on this site. If you’re using Adobe’s site, there may be (with your free Adobe ID).

Hey Dylann, all of the free Adobe books here are in PDF format – so not sure how that happened… Maybe the file extension got lost or changed by your browser during download? Try renaming the file (Mac | Windows) so that it has a .pdf extension, and see if that helps.

Hi Umar, actually a few of those books could definitely still be used for Photoshop CS5 – but be aware that not all of the additions in PS CS6 or the new features in CC that are covered in those books would apply to CS5.
