i wanted to know that will there be a separate .exe for 64 bit systems? like i have installed photoshop cs5 extended in my system and there are two exe files
1. Adobe Photoshop cs5 (64Bit)
2. Adobe Photoshop cs5
Just use the one that’s right for your computer… 32-bit is slower so if you have a 64-bit system, then use that one instead because it will be faster. The features and functionality are the same but you’ll get better performance.
i wanted to know about the package given here, does this package have the 64-bit version included in it.
Yes, these are universal installers with both the 32-bit and 64-bit application versions included, where applicable.
Can not download Web Premium 5.5 even though I am logged in.
“Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/WEBB/CS5_5/win32/WebPremium_CS5_5_LS1.exe” on this server.”
Hey there, it’s not enough to be logged in to Adobe. For the direct links to work, you also have to follow the download instructions given in the article above, step-by-step very carefully, near the top of this page.
Then if you have any difficulties, try a different browser, computer, or Internet connection. Avoid Wi-Fi as it can be slow and/or unreliable – better to use wired over wireless.
If you’re completely stuck, see this list of download tips.
Hi…I tried the link for CS5.5 Design Standard, Mac, United States, and I got a file for CS5 instead of CS5.5. Can anyone help? Thanks, Andrew
Hello, not sure how or why that could happen. When we test clicking on the link you mention, it downloads “DesignStandard_CS5_5_LS1.dmg” here on our end (2.9 GB for Mac OS) – no problems.
Every time I try to click any of the links, it keeps giving me the same error message. For example, when I tried clicking the first file for Production Premium it keeps saying “The file archive part of Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium. Please download all parts.”
I’ve done the instructions at the top of the page and I get this message for every file. Can someone please help me?
Hey Alex, see the previous comment and response. Or try a different browser.
Hi! I’m trying to download indesign cs5.5 but it always shows this error:
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/IDSN/7_5/osx10/InDesign_7_5_LS1.dmg” on this server.

Could you help me ;___;
Please Danielle, you need to carefully follow the step-by-step download directions given in the article above, near the top of this page… otherwise you will get that exact message.
How do you take such a simple process of downloading something I purchased years ago and totally make it a pain in the ass. Thanks, seriously. Thanks.
Well, great – if you purchased it years ago then you should still have a copy of it yourself, right? What do you need us for?
Most people are grateful we maintain all of the Adobe direct download links and try to help out our readers… But if it’s too much trouble for something you lost, then just buy a new one instead.
How do I add the extra content to the install? I have copied the files but don’t see how to install them
Thanks for helping out on this.
Hi BKE, you just run (or double-click) the .exe or .dmg file and then tell it where to put the included files… The additional content will then be extracted into the directory you specify.
What’s in there varies depending on the application, so what you do with it next depends on the type of content (fonts, documentation, templates, tutorials, sample files, etc). Generally speaking, it’s not installed so much as it is used.
Hi! When I try to open File 1 (Windows / creative suites: CS5.5 Design Premium 3.6 GB File 1 File 2) they ask what program I want to open it in. Nothing works. I think it can’t identify the file format.
What am I doing wrong?
Greetings Hanna, sounds like your web browser dropped the file extension when downloading, maybe you used IE? If there’s no longer an extension, then your computer wouldn’t know how to open the file.
So just rename the file to add back the “.EXE” at the end, and you should then be able to run/open it.
Hi! I’ve managed to download the files using chrome instead of explorer. If I double click on File 1, I end up in winzip. What do I do now? How do I start the installation?
Hello again Hanna. Well, File 1 is always a .EXE file (on Windows), so you should never end up in WinZip… So, not quite following what you describe.
See this previous comment for more details on what should happen.
Hello, I tried to open File 1 (DesignPremium_CS5_5_LS1) for cs5.5 Design Premium and it says “The file archive part of the adobe cs 5.5 design premium is missing. You need all parts in the same folder to extract Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium. Please download all parts.” Am I doing something wrong here?
I also downloaded file 2 for the same software and I know it is a text format.. is that also right?
Welcome Paulo, see our first reply to Hanna just above, it sounds like the same thing happened because nothing should be in text format.
There was no problem at all anymore. I figured it out. Thanks for the response, sir. Have a great night.
every time i click the link for photoshop CS5.1, i keep getting an access denied error.

Please see the earlier comments above, thanks Andrew.
I’m trying to re-download Photoshop CS5.1 since the files got messed up when transferring them to my new computer.
When I downloaded it from the direct link you provided for Mac, it says it “Can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.” What do I do?
Hi Chels – according to this Adobe Help article, that message is not due to the download or the file, but rather a setting on your computer.
Hi, I need help. After downloading the file for Mac from this page successfully, I opened up the folder in the dmg file and tried to click on the install icon, but I get the error message ‘”Install” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.’
I used Google Chrome to download, any ideas why I’m getting this message? Thanks in advance!
Sorry, please ignore my previous comment, I’ve read chels’ earlier comment and did a quick google search to fix it.
For anyone who has this problem on Mac, have a read of this link for help:

Thanks!
Hi people.
Those who are logged in & still get Access Denied, you must’ve clicked on the link and not followed what the author has said “Right click – Save As…”.
Suffered from the same until I figured out on comments, just putting up this info so it comes upfront & helps someone.
Hi – trying to download Master Collection for Mac… have religiously followed all the steps, turned off everything like blocks for pop-ups, disabled Gatekeeper etc etc, and it will let me start to download but I get as much as about 8KB downloaded and that’s after 5 minutes, and it then seems to be only downloading at a speed of 20 bytes per sec.
I’ve tried different broadband connections and hardwired the connection rather than going through Wifi… still having the same problems.
I’m using safari – should I try another browser or is it likely to be something else?
Hi – not sure if my previous comment got to you…but although i am able to access the download , why is it only coming through at 50 bytes per second? I checked my connection and it’s currently 17.69 MB per sec….what am i doing wrong? Downloading using safari on OSX 10.8.5. Please help! Desparate to get CS5.5. up and running again on new computer. Thank you.
Sorry you’re having difficulties Beth… Just tested and all the downloads continue to work fine and fast here. Not sure what’s going wrong for you, but definitely try a different browser like Chrome.
Clicked to download CS5.5… I have my serial number… but Access Denied at first screen
Hey there Nan, please see our previous reply above.
Sorry, I need only InDesign 5.5 and perhaps the update to that is 7.5? I have a serial number. Nowhere does it say download update for ID 5.5, only “trial.”
These are the free trials but also convert to the full versions if you have a valid, purchased license key.
Any included updates will happen when running the application itself (select Updates on the Help menu) after installation.
Are download links still active?
I’ve followed the instructions and set the cookie but I’m still getting:
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/PHSP/12_1/win32/Photoshop_12_1_LS1.exe” on this server.
I’ve tried different browsers and clearing cookies.
Yes Rob, the links continue to work… Make sure you are carefully following the download directions in the post.
I accidentally downloaded Design Standard CS5 this morning using your directions and link on that page, noticed my error when my serial number wouldn’t work and now I get the “access denied” message trying to download 5.5 that my serial number should work with.
Is my system limited to just the one download somehow?
I’m about ready to cry. :(
Any insight will be most appreciated.
Thanks!
Guess I’ll try waiting a day or two. As per the answer below:
indesign – design standard cs 5.5
Download Troubleshooting
5. It may sound strange, but if you’ve followed all the instructions and tried everything but seem completely “locked out,” then wait a while before trying the downloads again – then start again from the top. Believe it or not, sometimes simply waiting a day or two does the trick when nothing else seems to work – and comments from dozens of people have confirmed this.
