please, how do i install photoshop 2018 on my laptop
here is the error message it’s showing to me:
“Your browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system. Learn more”
Try this: Extract the files, turn off your Internet connection / disconnect the Wi-Fi, and then try to install the software again.
That usually works.

Is there a way to update to the latest CC 2018 version (I think is 20.0.6) without installing CC 2019?
Hi Sandra, good question. These direct download links are largely the original base “2018.0” versions from the initial release… There are no further updates available as standalone installers, because Adobe never provided them.
You could try updating the software from the “Help” menu to get the last CC 2018 version, which may work but is not using a direct download link.
Outside of that, moving to CC 2019 is the only other option.
After I downloaded the app, I can’t install it.
There I saw this message: “There seems to be a problem with the download file.”
Not sure – is there more to the message, or an exit code or error code given?

Yes. While Adobe XD (Experience Design) is not available as a direct download for this release (CC 2018), you can get a standalone installer for the latest 2023 version of XD.
I have downloaded Illustrator 2017 & 2018 for Mac and found them both 32-bit despite being listed as 64-bit. Neither will install as a result.
Sorry – because of major changes Apple made in macOS version 10.15, the installation of any Creative Cloud apps older than CC 2019 is not supported on Catalina and newer versions… This is because some components of older Adobe software was created using 32-bit architecture and do not work on 64-bit-only operating systems.

This means that the CC 2018 apps listed in this page are not compatible with Catalina, Big Sur, Monterey or Ventura. So we would suggest going with the newer CC 2019 or 2023 releases instead, as either of those should work for you:

Hi, I once downloaded this in the past and it worked just fine with my Adobe account, but now I tried it again and it puts me on a trial and says I don’t have a license for it… Did they change something? I connect it to my account and it doesn’t recognize that I have a license. I have the photography plan with Photoshop included; I can only download the 2019 version without asking me for anything.

No, nothing has changed to our knowledge. You could try deactivating and reactivating the software by following the instructions here, and see if that helps:

I am a paying Cloud customer who is running Mac OS El Capitan and cannot upgrade my system. Not sure why, but Adobe wouldn’t give these installers to me.

— On Windows: Just unzip the downloaded file into a new folder (on your Desktop is the default), and then run the “Setup.exe” executable file within that folder to begin the installation. Feel free to remove that folder once the installation has completed.
— On macOS: Just double-click on the downloaded .dmg file to mount it on your computer and start the installation process.

This is not a cc 2018 version of Photoshop. This is a 2019 release.
No. The links given above are indeed for the Photoshop CC 2018 release, which individually is version 19.0 of the Photoshop application itself.
That’s why you see a “19” in the installer filename for that tool. So it can be confusing.

You can install all Adobe apps of any release and it will not affect any other apps or any other release. Everything is installed and uninstalled independently.

Hey Mark, there’s a “Setup.exe” executable file in there too and you just run that to begin the installation. Everything else is taken care of, and afterwards you can delete the unzipped installer and its folder structure.
