This app needs to be updated by the developer to work with this version of macOS. Please contact the developer for more information.
That’s the error it’s giving when I downloaded it and it is ready to install on my computer.
I also tried the 2017 version but that gives the same error. It does work when I download the 2019 version.

I have not been able to download any of these older programs anywhere, ever! My system crashed out and I couldn’t get back all my apps. I was like “WTF, Adobe!!! They were here last time! Where’d my stuff go!”
So thank you for keeping these links open and available. I’m going to put fuse, encore and speedgrade on discs in my archive. Memory and SSD space is not forever, cd’s get darned close. Photographs a bit closer, and of course, death and taxes are spot on.
I tried to install the premiere pro trial and I got “update required your browser or operating system is no longer supported”. I have everything perfect so I don’t know the issue. It started doing this recently because I installed photoshop like 6 months ago here and it was working. Why is it broken now?
I tried every fix but nothing is working. I’ve been trying to fix it for 2 weeks now and I’m getting annoyed out of my mind!
Also I installed the new adobe creative cloud and it gets error code 1 now, So I uninstalled it and now I’m getting update required again 😑. PLEASE HELP!!!
If you get this error:
“Update required: Your browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system.”
or this error:
“The installation cannot proceed as the installer file may be damaged. Download the installer file again.”
…then extract the files, turn off the Internet or Wi-Fi, and try to install the software again.

You need to disconnect from the internet. The installer is phoning home to Adobe and just saying that it’s not compatible with your system. They may be trying to force people to use the newer versions.
As soon you turn off the Wifi and launch the installer, it will work just fine.
I can’t download Premiere, it says server can’t be found

Just tested out that direct download link, and it works fine for us…
Nobody else has reported any issues, so we’d need more detail in order to help you out.
Did you try using a different web browser, or another computer or Internet connection?

I’m using CC2018 with the creative cloud license, but now I’m encountering problems on Illustrator. I need to update, but my windows is not supported for a newer version.
For now, I don’t want to upgrade my windows. can I download & use this software to re-install my Illustrator CC 2018?

Yes, just be aware that these direct download links are largely the original base “2018.0” versions… There are no further updates available as standalone installers, as Adobe has not provided them.
You could try updating the software from the “Help” menu to get the last CC 2018 version, which may work but is not using a direct download link.
So, if you want a “clean” reinstall, you could try this:
1. Uninstall all Adobe apps using standard OS procedures.
2. Download & run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, remove all apps.
3. Reboot your computer (don’t skip this step).
4. Start again from the top by reinstalling the Creative Cloud tools you want.

Can’t download “CC Desktop App (v. 5.6.0.788)”. Gets this error message:

How can I download the CC desktop app? Can I install CC Apps (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop, …) without the CC Desktop App?
Yes – you can install other Creative Cloud apps without the Desktop app, using the direct download links above.
Most of the links here still work – but as mentioned in the footer to the table above, some of the (asterisked) direct links require the additional step of following these download instructions first in order to work… The CC Desktop app is one of those links.
It’s needed by Adobe’s servers in order to set up the download session, otherwise you will get an access or permissions denied message. Hope that helps!

The direct download links above for Photoshop and InDesign still work. However, the CC 2018 release requires at least macOS 10.11 (El Capitan).
Note: On macOS 10.15 (Catalina) and above, CC 2018 won’t work because Apple dropped all support for 32-bit applications.
For Mac OS X v10.9, you would need CC 2015… Be sure to carefully follow the download instructions given on that page.

Sorry, it doesn’t exist. Adobe has not offered 32-bit versions of the video or audio tools since CS4 in 2008:

In other words, now they are all native 64-bit-only applications – they do not exist in 32-bit form.
I’ve downloaded after effects 2018 – how long will this last until I have to subscribe, etc?
Adobe’s trial periods are typically 7 days long – but effectively speaking, you can actually use the software for free for up to 21 days.

This is the only place I could find legitimate older versions of Adobe Suite Apps. Got an old Mac Mini Late 2010 model, and cannot use anything newer than 2018 Adobe Suite Products. So right now I’m running High Sierra, the highest the mac mini 2010 can go, and downloaded PS and AI 2018. Runs perfect! Ain’t much difference in the 2018 than the newer 2021.
Question though. I’ve ran the trial period, and looking to pay in the near future for All Apps. If I purchase them monthly through the Adobe site or the latest Creative Cloud App, will they transfer over to the apps I’ve downloaded here for use?

To answer your question: Yes, once you subscribe to Creative Cloud, you can (unofficially) use older versions… They will still run under your paid membership.
So you don’t necessarily have to use the newest releases, if you prefer not to – or if your computer does not support the latest versions, due to their system requirements.
In other words, Adobe won’t stop you from using prior CC releases and won’t force you to upgrade.
Just be aware that Adobe will “officially” support only the current release – CC 2022 – and one version back – CC 2021… But as long as you don’t run into any unexpected issues, then that shouldn’t be a problem, and you can continue to use previous versions as long as you want.

Adobe is not saying much yet on support for Windows 11 – so it’s unclear how well older releases will run on it:

But if you’re getting this error:

or this error:

After downloading Photoshop 2018, it was working fine under the 7-days trial, then 7 days passed but it didn’t lock up but all of a sudden I’m not able to use it anymore. It’s just saying my trial is over. I’m planning on downloading CC 2019 but the first software I downloaded is a big turn-off. If you have a way to fix this problem, then I’ll download more software from here.

I have an existing Adobe CC account in which I am using paid, up-to-date CC 2021 apps on a new Macbook, but I am trying to use these CC 2018 apps on an older Mac with El Capitan (early 2008, last OSX supported). When prompted, I logged in with my existing Adobe account but it does not seem to recognize my paid plan and will not let me transition out of the 7-day trial for the 2018 apps. Any idea how to make this work?
Hi Jason, you should be able to run older versions with a paid subscription if you wish. Try the steps given here:

Another suggestion would be to download & run the Adobe Cleaner Tool:

…and then reboot your system (don’t skip this), and start again with the installation of your CC tools.

I downloaded the Photoshop 2018 trial version and it works great. I have win 8.1 and don’t want to upgrade to win 10 or it will mess up all my other programs. I tried to buy the Photoshop 2018, though, and Adobe won’t sell it to me, so what good is the trial except to have it for only 7 days?

Also, upgrading to Windows 10 will not mess up all your other programs… Windows is actually quite good at preserving backwards compatibility with older software, especially when using Microsoft’s Compatibility Mode feature.

Thank you, but Adobe told me I had to upgrade to win 10 to run Creative Cloud, and I don’t want win 10 on this computer. I have another computer with win 10 and the newest version of Photoshop, but I wanted an older version on this computer, and had one, but it stopped working the other day and I can’t download anything further unless I upgrade my OS.
As mentioned, you can install or continue to run these older versions with a current CC subscription… Just sign in to your Adobe account when prompted on the other system, and it should activate the software for ongoing use.
OMG! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Got it working and I appreciate all your help. Too bad Adobe doesn’t make this known instead of just pushing the latest versions. I’ve talked with 5 of their reps, and none of them told me of this, and in fact, contradicted everything. Thank you for the help!

I want to download some videohive templates and need Premiere Pro CC 2018.
Subscribing to Adobe for their product looks like it might try to install the very latest software, which my Mac can’t handle.

Yes, it should. On Mac, the CC 2019 release requires macOS X 10.12 Sierra or higher… So High Sierra should be fine to run it.

You can – it’s easy… Extract the files, turn off your Internet connection / disconnect the Wi-Fi, and then try to install the software again.

Some of the installs such a photoshop cc 2018 are the base versions with tons of bugs.
That’s a good question but unfortunately, Adobe never published standalone installers for any updates to CC 2017, 2018, or 2019…
The only direct download links that were ever available were the initial base “.0” versions of those releases, which you’ll find above.
So sorry, we’d love to do that, but it’s not possible!
