so where are the direct download links?
@Mark Persaud
they are making their customers’ lives difficult to be sure… i hate adobe more and more each day.
Nothing yet?
Here’s the latest we have from Adobe as of last Friday:
Guys, here you have your Photoshop 17.0 (2015.5) links:

Enjoy. :P
Thanks, yes – it’s only Photoshop so far, and there are some caveats that Adobe is working on. We are still waiting for cohesiveness in how the ESD packages are handled, including providing standard installers for all the other CC applications.
Another point is that for some reason the CC Desktop App won’t completely recognize when the new install is performed outside of it. So both we and Adobe are investigating and pursuing these issues further.
So you might want to hold off on using that for now, until Adobe gets the standalone installers working 100% perfectly… Also to make them available for all the other CC tools.
If you do decide to use that installer, note that it will install to the disk location and program language that are set in the Preferences of your CC Desktop app (with reasonable defaults).
This works very well. Thanks for the info…
@Peter
1. Go to Welcome, (your name)
2. Preferences
3. Where it says: “Specify your cache folder…” That’s where offline installers are downloaded.
it looks like some of the products have a direct link for downloading…
like photoshop…

Hi, yes Hassid, it’s still only Photoshop so far, and we are still waiting for standard ESD installers for all the other CC applications from Adobe. We are hoping for further news this week.
Regarding that single Photoshop installer, for some reason the CC Desktop App won’t completely recognize when the new install is performed outside of it. So you might want to hold off on using that for now, until Adobe gets the standalone installers working 100% perfectly… Also to pull in all the other CC tools.
If you do decide to use that installer, note that it will install to the disk location and program language that are set in the Preferences of your CC Desktop app (with reasonable defaults). So it is possible to install it elsewhere on your computer besides C:\, as well as with a different language – but for now you have to use that workaround.
Hope that helps!

“There isn’t anything to report.”
Uh, yeah, actually that was something worth reporting. Rather than keeping your customers in the dark, why not make an effort to be transparent about what’s taking so long?
Creative Cloud not only forces me to start the program, then quit thru its menu, then restart and “Run as Administrator” (am I not the administrator of my own computer??), but now none of the updates download successfully.
Adobe must understand that its Creative Cloud App does not work consistently and I am not getting the updates I am paying for monthly. Additionally, I’ve tried a suggestion to uninstall the app (in this case, Lightroom) and then reinstall from a direct link I found, but now am without Lightroom entirely as the direct link won’t download successfully either.
Please provide alternative methods to install/upgrade, this is quite annoying!!!
Sorry to hear that Jennifer. What issue are you having when using the Lightroom direct download links? We can likely help with that (make sure you follow the download instructions first).
… meaning Adobe is still trying to weasel out of direct downloads, why else would they put so much time and effort into documenting each(!) occurrence. As they are now beginning to provide enterprise offline installers (which won’t work for me, installation fails for obscure reasons) they are obviously set to “encourage” internet connections for everyone else.
Looking at the reality in creative soho and small departments, you certainly don’t want to have your work box as a target for malware or send telemetry all over the place – but as Adobe has bought every other company in sight they now can do as they please…
@ProDesignTools
Well, I guess my system just needed an overnight rest. Today, inexplicably, the direct links worked. Go Figure.
Thanks for the quick response!

Can Adobe be held responsible for breaching security measures in a large company by bypassing firewalls and measures to not download software? the company I work for blocked all of that. So what do they do. They connect the machine directly to the web leaving the machine at great risk to be the one machine a threat will enter the company network by switching back to the firmwide network. This is a procedure to get you kicked out of the company. Come on Adobe! That is why a couple of suites won’t be installed. Where are we that this is the only solution to get your products. Risking my job to work in Illustrator. Not really.
Quark XPress once had a really bad product policy and they got kicked by Adobe InDesign, being much more user friendly. Everybody moved to InDesign. Nowadays Adobe is the new Quark. Lessons not learned!

Just saw this post online:

Adobe’s bad move is hosing more and more customers… hope this changes very soon.
I need the direct downloads links simply because the CC dekstop app is hell. Not a single update of the app worked to date. (error 1002 and a bunch of other errors). So i’m paying for something i can’t even use properly. What the hell Adobe ? Just a big mess.
Hello
As I have to “rebuild” a system disk after a crash, I tried to download the “official” version of Photoshop CS5 (with french language).
I’ve got some code, but I’m not sure that it’s exactly what i need (very small file when, if i am right, i should get 2 files) !
Could you tell me
1) Where to download the right code ?
2) What I should get?
Thanks for your help. Have a good day.
Hi Serge, you can use our large collection of Adobe Software Direct Download Links for many major releases (CC and CS) up until this one.
Be sure to carefully follow the download instructions given.
Hope that helps.
Hi again,
This is about LR. Can you tell me which version I now have? Adobe seems to have stopped giving the updates sensible numbered version names. Thanks.
I’m on a Mac, I am a CC subscriber but I prefer to use your direct download facility so that I can go back to an earlier version if I need to. I have managed to upgrade LR 5.7 to LR 6 through your direct download links. During the installation process it recognised that I’m a subscriber
In ‘About Lightroom…’, it says it is Lightroom CC 2015 Release, Camera Raw 9.0. In finder, Applications, the folder is simply called Adobe Lightroom, and the app is Version Adobe Lightroom [1014445]. The CC app says that Lightroom CC (2015) is up to date.
I have also downloaded from Adobe’s site – the update Lightroom 6.6/2015.6, but it won’t install. I get the error message that this update is not applicable.
So what version is 1014445 ? Have I got the latest update or not? Thanks
Greetings Ruth, good to see you again. The best way to see what version of Lightroom is installed on your computer is to go to the Help menu > System Info when running Lightroom.
Make sure to sign in with your Adobe ID if necessary, also from the Help menu.
The complete version number should also appear briefly on the ‘splash’ screen at startup. The current/latest release of Lightroom is CC 2015.6 for subscription, or 6.6 for perpetual. You may also see [ 1078672 ]. Here is the difference between the two Lightroom choices:

And here also are the direct links for all Lightroom updates (all CC 2015.x and 6.x releases):

Hope that helps!
Hello, I would like to ask if there’s still have direct download links for CC 2015.5 until the end of this month?
Adobe, please provide industry-standard direct download links! There are many times when I need to bypass the CC app, and having the links up on prodesigntools.com is awesome.
I am a 75 year old silver surfer, kidding myself that I understand what I am doing!!! Please can you help me. I have been using Adobe cc Bridge, Photoshop and Lightroom for several months and am enjoying them. However, despite having installed, struggled, uninstalled and reinstalled I cannot get 2015.5 to work with either Select & Mask or others new features. I have no ‘Onion skin’ mask though most of the other components are there. Should this appear automatically or am I doing something wrong? Please help.
Madness, Adobe!!
My organization by necessity has a strong firewall which is keeping me from downloading an update to Muse through the desktop app. Previous versions would download, but not this new one. For some reason, I cannot even open my site in a previous version – when I try, I am told I must have the update to open it. I do not know why it cannot at least open in a previous version as it does with some the other sites I manage. I started the update process because changes on my website were not uploading to the server. Through Adobe chat, I was told the updates would fix that issue. I cannot make changes because I cannot download from the app. Please, Adobe, create a direct download as quickly as possible.
Download Links????????????? I NEEEEEEEDDDDD
@Carlos Pacheco Isn’t it time we all said to Adobe “Get stuffed”, No more direct updates, no more money. ProDesign have had our backs for too long and Adobe does not care. Me for one will hold on to the current versions I have and will cancel my subscription. They are blind arrogant fools who are following their own agendas. Go Adobe, crash and burn!!!!!!!!!
@Axel
They haven’t bought Affinity. I am dabbling into affinity designer and it looks pretty impressive for the price point. For what I do, it can definitely replace illustrator for me. It’s what Macromedia Freehand could have become, which Adobe killed.
