I bought a license key for Adobe Design Std CS5.5, where do I have to download the software for installation.
Hi Siva, you can do that right here – just follow the instructions in the article above to download the free trial for your product from Adobe’s servers, which you can then activate permanently with your valid purchased serial number.
Hi! Will these trials be still available after CS6 release?
Yes, they should be.
Please help! Any file l click, it says ‘ ACCESS IS DENIED’
Hello Ryan, have you carefully followed the download instructions in the article above?
@ ProDesignTools
Yeah. But when l go to any links (e.g. photoshop cs5.1) and click the link up there ^ it says:
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/PHSP/12_1/win32/Photoshop_12_1_LS1.exe?” on this server.
Reference #18.7d05d040.1335759344.1490092
All the links do this. Like an hour ago, all the links where working, now they all give me that ‘ ACCESS IS DENIED ‘.
I asked my friend to try who lives in Canada, and it doesn’t work for him either. Please give me an update link!! :(
Yes, oddly that happens sometimes with Adobe’s download servers – they’re temperamental: working for you one hour, then denying you the next… Nobody can explain it, and it even happens to us occasionally.
Try waiting a little while, or using a different browser, computer, and/or Internet connection, or even a different Adobe ID login – or check this previous list of download tips.
Okay thanks! I know what you mean. My database index of/ always goes down every hour and then. Anyways, thanks. :)
Dude, these links are not available 99/100 of the time, so you should just upload these files (Trial direct downloads) to Mediafire or something, so that they are not down.
Sorry Ryan, not allowed per Adobe – the only legal and safe place to download their products is directly from their own servers… otherwise how could you trust the files or be sure they are authentic and free of malware?
Not to worry though, as your numbers are reversed – by our own measure, less than 1% of the downloads actually have any difficulty. If you’re one of those few, just see the additional suggestions given above in the comments.
I know, but the servers are always down. Look what I said on top of a couple comments. I said that it gives me Forbidden because their servers suck and are always down…
Well Ryan, it does happen but is simply not as common as you think – in fact, you’re the first person in nearly a month here to report any problem downloading these files… But, you’ve posted five times about it so maybe it seems more frequent.
Yeah… Well, my Adobe Download Assistant doesn’t connect, so that’s why I use these direct links. They have a ‘SKIP’ button. But yeah, do you think you know when their server/host will be up?
It’s common people come here because the Adobe Download Assistant doesn’t work for them… Almost always they follow the instructions or comment tips and everything goes perfectly.
As for Adobe’s servers, they’re up and running right now – we just test-downloaded Photoshop CS5.1 using the links above and it worked fine, as it does for hundreds of visitors every week.
I just tried with three of my friends, and they say it’s not working. :S
Not sure what else to tell you Ryan – works fine here, three times in a row… And thousands of other visitors here this month downloading with no problem at all.
Wait a while, follow the instructions carefully, try the list of tips. There’s nothing further we can do on our end, so good luck with it.
Well sir, the problem isn’t about me having trouble, it’s me not able to access the server of the download link. Whenever I go there, it gives me 403 Forbidden. I have cleared my cache, used different computers, used a computer in my class, used a friend’s computer, used a friend around the world’s Internet (called on phone), and it gives 403 Forbidden. I know the download links are down, but I am confused for you saying it works. It was working a couple of days ago, now it won’t work…
Well that’s just puzzling and out of the ordinary Ryan – because in three years of running this website, no one has ever reported a “Forbidden” error before.
As far as we know, nothing has changed since you said it worked a couple days ago, and it still works fine on our end right now.
Wait, not a Forbidden, but an Access Denied.
Well in that case, please end loop and return to first comment. Sorry.
Take a break and see what the server gives you tomorrow.
@ Ryan
I just wonder if you’re having cookies issues. As a test, I just went and clicked on one of the download links without setting the cookie and I get the error that you are talking about.
Then I followed the guide and all the links are working for me.
Ok, can you link me to the instructions again?
I just tried it all, no luck. I enabled third-party-cookies, any other tips?
The instructions are included right in the article above Ryan. All cookies absolutely need to be on, and you can’t be blocking anything either.
Tried everything and still ‘Access is denied’
Tried everything and still can’t help you, sorry Ryan. It’s out of our control.
Hey you’re welcome. Something nice about this site is excellent service. Keep it up. And as you said, yesterday, up there, “Yes, oddly that happens sometimes with Adobe’s download servers – they’re temperamental: working for you one hour, then denying you the next… Nobody can explain it, and it even happens to us occasionally.“, I think it might just be Adobe’s servers. It’s just weird that it’s working for you and no one else. But still, thanks for helping. I wish it worked for me. Thanks! :)
Sure Ryan… Though Daniel is a regular reader here and also chimed in (thanks Daniel).
The best thing to do now is give it a bit of rest and try later, seriously. No use banging your head, and in the past we’ve seen these occasional issues resolve with time for people. Good luck.
Welcome anytime. And you’re right, I would give this a rest and look at it later.
Thanks mate.
Hello, I found out my problem! It’s simple…. I just didn’t click the ADA download link on Adobe.com first, then X it out. I just went straight to the program.

Read this if you are having trouble!

Those are steps 2-4 of the download instructions given in the article, Ryan. As mentioned several times above, if you don’t carefully follow the instructions, it won’t work.
I am currently downloading the Design Standard cs5.5…does 12 hours sound right for this download?
Hi Ricky, that certainly could be… it depends entirely on the speed of your Internet connection.
Try to avoid Wi-Fi if you can, and use a wired connection – it’s faster and more reliable.
By the way, starting today we also have all direct download links for CS6 trials immediately available.
I will try with a wired connection..that could be the problem! hmmm interesting…thank you!
Yes, definitely – wireless connection speeds, latency, and interference can all be significantly worse than wired or cable connections. Hope that helps it for you!
Why does it only give me a fraction of the download and then it stops? I have tried several times. Hmmm…Adobe Servers are like that though.
Hey there Nick, sorry it’s giving you issues but we have heard that around a bit today – it’s a busy day as Adobe’s trial servers are apparently overwhelmed from the release of CS6.
Should be a bit better for everyone tomorrow, hopefully.
There is a wrong file1 for Flash Builder 4.5. It seems to be the loader only.
Cheers,
Maciej
Thanks for the heads-up on that Maciej. Adobe has apparently made a change recently… because it used to be only one file, but now it is two.
For FB 4 (CS5) and FB 4.6 (CS6) it is also one file.
In any event, we’ve made the change above to reflect two files to download now for FB 4.5 above (the loader .exe and the archive .7z).
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/FLPR/11_5/win32/FlashPro_11_5_LS1.exe” on this server.
Hello Zubair, have you carefully followed the download instructions in the article above?
It worked for me. I just waited a couple hours until Adobe servers stopped being “temperamental” and then I was able to download without seeing the “Access Denied…” page.
Thanks you for your comment Dieter – yes, sometimes just being patient, waiting a bit, and trying again later will pay off.
