@ProDesignTools
Sorry I meant I have a 32-bit not a 64-bit… You guys have been very helpful, thank you.
Links not working for me! Missing.
Hi Rodo, what seems to be the problem you’re having?
All the trial direct links continue to work fine on our end… Have you carefully followed the download instructions?
If so, and you’re still having difficulty, see this list of 9 download tips – thanks.
@ Admin : I’m unable to download any “.exe” setup from direct download links, but the 7z files are downloading properly.
I recently downloaded Illustrator as “.7z” setup, though I have tried to download the “.exe” first.
What might be the problem?
And Illustrator says it CS5.1 Where is the CS5.5 Link ?? Are there any difference between the .exe and .7z setups ?!
Hello Curious, what actually happens when you try to download the .exe files?
On Illustrator, there is actually no CS5.5 version… The most recent release of Adobe Illustrator is CS5.1.
” Hello Curious, what actually happens when you try to download the .exe files? ”
Reply:
– Whenever I was trying to download, I was getting a corrupt “.exe” which is only of 1.7 MB.
After that I tried the .7z ones and they work just fine. Now I have Illustrator and Photoshop
Currently downloading Flash Professional.exe
It worked.
Sorry you were having difficulties – but the files are definitely good, so if you were getting a “corrupt” message then it’s something else… If repeated attempts don’t work then you might try a different browser, computer, or Internet connection (no Wi-Fi).

Well I’m using wireless broadband. I don’t know whether the problem is triggered by that or not.
I have a another question today. Can I run Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 on 32 bit OS ?
I know the SRS says it needs Win 7 SP 1 64 bit but I have used a 64 bit Software before and that is Xilisoft Video Converter and that works fine. So I was thinking if I can use that any how !
No, both Premiere Pro CS5 and After Effects CS5 require a 64-bit system…
However, you can still get the CS4 versions instead if you need them for a 32-bit computer.
thanks prodesigntools for sharing this great content. i have some questions
1. whether i have to be logged in my adobe account when downloading, or can i sign out after downloading starts?
2. i am using idm to download, can i pause or resume the download?
3. what is the difference between photoshop cs vs. photoshop cs extended?
pls help
Sure Shane, here are answers:
1. Haven’t tried that, but you should probably stay logged in just to be on the safe side
2. Yes, you should be able to pause and resume the download if you’re using a separate download manager
3. Answer: What’s the Difference between Photoshop CS vs. Photoshop CS Extended?
Hope this helps!
Hello prodesign, I have one question. What about Adobe Director ?? Is it discontinued?? It’s not in the list.
Hello again Shane… No, Adobe Director is definitely not discontinued, and in fact it was updated to version 11.5.
However, it’s not included on this page because it is not part of the Creative Suite.
Hi
It is important that you’ve saved your logon info before clicking download or it will not work

Files listed in the ‘File 1’ column seem to be only bootstrappers (for example, it links to 1200 KB file instead of 960 MB for Photoshop). It seems that Adobe has pulled full-size installers in favor of bootstrapper-only versions. Akamai should be giving a value for the money Adobe pays them ;)
Hi, you’re right that File 1 in Windows is usually a small .EXE that unpacks and installs the archive file (the .7Z). However, it’s not always so (for example, see Dreamweaver – it’s just one file)…
But nothing has changed recently with these direct download links, and nothing was pulled – it’s always been this way, and is the same with the direct links for earlier releases. We’ve never been sure why Adobe has done it like this – why they have used two files for download and installation on Windows, instead of just one single large .EXE or .MSI as most other companies do – but that’s just the way it is.
(Note if you own 7-Zip or equivalent, you can often skip the .EXE if you want and manage the .7Z archive file yourself, but most people choose just to keep and run the .EXE and let it take care of things.)
@ Shane : You do not need to be keep yourself logged in at the adobe website to download anything. Just login at the time of starting and after the download starts, close the browser.
I had downloaded Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 in two days. I had stopped and started the download numerous times and I was also using IDM. Never faced any problem.
@ Endorphinit : Both the .exe and .7z contains the same piece of Software. If anyone download the .7z then he would have to extract it and can start the installation using – “Setup.exe” inside. If someone wants to do the same with the .exe’s then he can easily extract it with any Archiver utility (Winrar, PowerArchiver etc)
Thanks C.A. The .EXE files only contain the actual installation content when there is no “File 2” listed for the application… If there is a File 2 listed, then it will be a large .7Z archive.
But for most folks, the easiest is to just download both files (where applicable), and then double-click the .EXE file to run it – and that will take care of all the rest for you. No external archiver utility is needed.
Error Message: “The file archive part of Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe Photoshop CS5.1. Please download all parts.”
After trying to run the first file posted PS CS5 – File 1.
-What am I doing wrong and how do I go about fixing it so this works?
Greetings AMC, please see this earlier comment and response – thanks.
Hi, I’m trying to get After Effects CS5.5 for Windows in English and I have a few questions as I am new to ProDesignTools. Firstly, are these products all legit, nothing with viruses, all real adobe products? Also, what is the deal with the file 1 and file 2 thing. Do I have to download both? Anyways if someone could just clear this up for me that would be appreciated.
Hey there Patrick – as mentioned in the article above, the downloads are all pulled from Adobe’s servers – these are the complete collection of direct links to them… So absolutely they are the genuine, authentic. and original trials.
File 1 and File 2 are just our names for the two files that comprise a complete Adobe product installation package. Sometimes it’s just one file though, it depends on the application. We’ve never been sure why Adobe sometimes uses two paired files rather than a single .EXE or .MSI download like most other companies do… But regardless, just follow the instructions in the post and you’ll be fine.
The download links for the WIndows version of Premiere Pro CS5.5 seem to be broken.
Welcome Bill, those trial direct links continue to work fine on our end… Have you carefully followed the download instructions?
The Premiere Pro file 2 does not work – it downloads all 2.5GB then Chrome reports “download interrupted” – this is because the Adobe server reports a different file length to the real one – probably to ensure that people use their downloader.
Sorry you’re having difficulties with it Chris, but your theory isn’t right… We just double-checked the file in question and it continues to download fine here, in its entirety using Chrome.
There is definitely no need to use Adobe’s downloader (the Adobe Download Assistant) if you don’t want to, it is only a convenience for those who want it. These links pull the same original files from the same servers without it.
You might try again, also check this list of 9 download tips which may help – thanks.
Thanks for sharing such useful thing for those who cannot install the Adobe Download Manager on their machine due to user account restrictions.
Hey, I can’t download it, why??
It says access denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/STAM/CS5_5/win32/MasterCollection_CS5_5_LS1.exe” on this server.
ahmm…do you think because I have an Adobe Download Assistant ??
Please admin help me!!
Hi Mark, did you carefully follow the download instructions given in the article?
Hi, I downloaded the CS5.1 Photoshop trial and installed it, following the instructions, however if I try and open a document or create a new one, Photoshop crashes and then closes. It will only crash when I try and open or create a document, or if I select a file and click open with Photoshop, it will open and then crash.
Can you help?
Hello Paul, we’ve never heard of anything like that before… What machine are you using? Does your computer meet the minimum system requirements?
See what to do if you’re having problems installing or running Adobe CS5 or CS5.5.
I’m on a mesh computer with Windows Vista, and it meets the standard requirements. I’ve just downloaded the Photoshop CS6 beta, and that is running fine so I’m not really too fussed.
Thanks anyway.
Hi, I’m struggling with the process. I downloaded both the exe and 7z files, extracted the 7z files and they are both in the same folder now. But when I double click the .exe I get an error message. It says ‘The file archive part of Adobe CS5.5 MC is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe CS5.5 MC. Please download all parts’
Can you help?
Greetings Jesse, you don’t need to do any file extraction yourself… Just put both downloaded files – the .exe and the .7z – into the same single folder and then run the .exe (double-click it).
Just make sure that folder is on the same disk that you want to install the software to, and you should avoid any issues.
I have downloaded all the files and saved them to the same place and I don’t have an .exe file.
Hey there Tessie, are you using Internet Explorer? As mentioned in the article, we suggest using a different browser because IE has a tendency to drop off the file extensions on these downloads… (Firefox and Chrome are fine)
If so, just rename the file(s) to add a “.exe” back at the end, where applicable. Then double-click that .exe and the installation procedure should run as normal.
I downloaded Design Premium CS 5.5 and why do I have Photoshop CS5.1 instead of CS5.5?
Hey Z., check out this article on Photoshop CS5.5, and that should explain it – thanks!
Thank you!
Can some one e-mail me a free trial direct download for Photoshop CS5.5, that would really help, THANKS!
Hi Sora, you can find that linked right above on this page – thanks.
