I ended up downloading the file on a Vista machine then copied it over and it installed fine. Wish I would have thought of that sooner. Would have saved me many many hours. Thanks anyways though.

Hi Rochak, sorry you’re having trouble but the files aren’t corrupt from our end. Please see the earlier suggestions and/or this list of 9 download tips.
Doesn’t work (English version)
Hey there Eduardo, good to see you again… What seems to be the problem you’re having?
All the trial direct links continue to work fine on our end. Have you carefully followed the download instructions?
I did everything instructed and still got the ‘Access denied’ page, Im still signed into Adobe even… The original Adobe Download Assistant has done nothing but cause me trouble after I had to have my PC restored to factory stage. I just can’t redownload Adobe Cs5,5 I always wait 25 hours for it to download, then it’ll say error…
I really need help here, I make a living out of designs and such using Adobe
:(
Sorry you’re having difficulties Kei… For extensive help, please check out this step-by-step list with 9 troubleshooting tips we posted earlier – thanks.
Oh me H3LL why doesn’t Adobe offer/suggest this alternate path? I’ve been fighting my new Mac-n-trash trying to get the blasted Adobe Download Manager trash-heap-app to work (won’t download diddly) and my option was to drive 2 hours to work, or download. Driving would have been faster, and I was about to grab the keys and leave and ran across this site. HAL-LA-FRIGGIN-LU-YA. Thanks so much, let’s hope it works.
You’re welcome PB, hope it works well for you (it should)… The Adobe Download Assistant works for most people, and they keep improving it, but still some folks occasionally run into issues – so glad to help out here with the direct links.
you saved my ass bro! thank you very much!!!!
Links are dead. Please update! :)
Links are not dead. Please read the instructions! :)
Thanks so much for this – really appreciate it.
Oh and for those of you who did a complete registry wipe before installing using a tool like Rev Uninstaller, download the Adobe Application Manager (google it) if you are downloading the .7z links above. This fixed an error that kept popping up after launching the installer after extraction. Also Adobe Air has to be installed! :P
Thanks Joseph. Normally people should not need to manually download the Adobe Application Manager separately – it’s only necessary if you’re getting either one of these error messages: “Adobe Application Manager is needed to start your trial” or “Adobe Application Manager is needed to update your product.”
Hi. Was in the process of downloading cs5.5 Masters Collection and the download got interrupted. Is there a way to restart the download from where it stopped rather than having to start over? I’m downloading on Chrome and it doesn’t seem to give me an option to do so. Thanks.
Hello Matt, the answer is… possibly. Normally a web browser won’t do that. But you could try installing one of these free Download Managers, and then pick up redownloading the same file(s) to the same locations on your computer. Download Managers are built to handle dropoffs and interruptions, and then gracefully recover and resume them – so there’s a chance it could continue your existing trial download from where it left off. Good luck and let us know how it goes!
(This is also one reason why Adobe uses its similar Download Assistant, but the reality is that not all download managers work well for all users all the time – so often the direct download link is the best bet to start from.)
i do not have access to download from this server? why?
First, have you carefully followed the download instructions above Javier?
@ProDesignTools
Mac [English] “File 1” Links pop up as
“Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/PHSP/12_1/osx10/Photoshop_12_1_LS1.dmg” on this server.

Hey there Tyroe, if you’ve followed the instructions but are still getting that message, try stepping through this list of 9 troubleshooting tips. Hope it helps.
hi, i love you man, you saved a lot of my time. i tried about 5 days on the adobe site. 5 days and 40 hours of downloading, total waste. thanks again.
Wow Vikas, sometimes people have problems trying to use the Adobe Download Assistant, but that’s about the worst we’ve ever heard… Sorry to hear it, but glad you were able to finally achieve success without it here.
@ProDesignTools
Thanks for your help. I downloaded one of the download managers you suggested, the Internet Download Manger, but I was unable to restart from where it had stopped. There didn’t appear to be an option to specifically restart file downloads and when I loaded the file into the program access was denied to the webpage. This was the message: You don’t have permission to access “…/STAM/CS5_5/win32/MasterCollection_CS5_5_LS1.7z” on this server.
Is there away around this? Cheers.
Thanks for the follow-up Matt. You’re getting the same message now that some folks get when they try the direct download links – so it doesn’t actually have to do with the download manager you’re using. See the response just above to Tyroe for some advice on that.
Hi I’m struggling with the AE download, I’ve downloaded the two files but neither of them is a .exe file therefore I can’t open them. Can you suggest anything please? Thanks
Greetings Hawa, are you using Internet Explorer? As mentioned in the article, the IE browser has a tendency to drop off the file extensions on these downloads… (Firefox and Chrome are fine)
If so, just rename the files to add a “.exe” back at the end, where applicable. Typically, one file is an .exe and the other a .7z. Then double-click or run your executable and the installation procedure should proceed as normal.
Hi! Yes – I was using IE, I changed it to .exe, but then it wouldn’t let me open it saying both files needed to be in the same location (they were!).
Now I keep getting an access denied message saying I dont have permission to access it on this server…No idea…any ideas?
Thanks
Glad you got past that Hawa, with the browser dropping the extension. For the other message you’re getting now – that does happen occasionally with Adobe’s servers, no one really knows why – but you’re not alone… Try some of these troubleshooting tips to help work past that.
Hi! Thanks for the reply, I’m reading through the posts…very useful…I’ve installed it and then it said there was a problem with the download. There’s just a load of random files, nothing to actually launch the actual program. *sigh*
Hawa, did you follow the product installation instructions linked from step 6 in the article above?
You need to look for and run the Set-up.exe file that got unpacked, probably in an Adobe directory on your Desktop.
I guess I don’t have a 32 bit system! Bugger! Thanks for all your help :)
You don’t need a 32-bit system… See the complete system requirements for Creative Suite 5.
Every single Adobe application will run fine on a 64-bit computer. And, some of them actually require a 64-bit system.
Good luck!
When I clicked on the link for any of the Extra Content files for Mac I get:
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/PPRO/5_5/osx10/PremierePro_5_5_Content_LS7.dmg” on this server.

Am I doing something incorrectly?
Thank you!
Hi Edward, if you’ve followed the download instructions given in the article above and are still having difficulties, then try this list of troubleshooting tips.
Thanks for the quick reply. It ends up that when I clicked on the link “CS5.5 Extra Content” it took me past the Important Instructions section – I missed it completely.
Thanks again!
how do u sign in?
@ProDesignTools
cannot download, I get the error:
