@Bryan
BTW, you’ve also included a separate AcrobatX update page. I can’t find that page anymore – did you remove it? I’d like to have those updates links as well…
@malchick743
Hey I saw AE CS6 updates in that ZIP bundle, for example:
AdobeAfterEffectsTrial-11.0.4-mul-AdobeUpdate.zip
Also he says the Acrobat X updates are here:
https://archive.org/details/acrobat-x-updates
@malchick743
So the After Effects CS6 updates are there. Also the link to the Acrobat X updates and the all-at-once batch updater link is in the middle of the text of that page.
If you can access the CS6 updates page, you can scroll down and Click on SoCalBryan and it will take you to my archive page where you can select the archive for the Acrobat updates.
So it took many weeks of searching the internet, the Internet Archive, to find the updates. Then more weeks to download them.
I am not a MAC user, so I will not at this point be including those updates. It’s really useless anyway, as any new Mac OS will not support CS6 purposefully down by Apple.
As far as the earlier CS versions, someone else will have to do it.
@Bryan
Yes, sorry for the confusion — I did locate your AcroX update pack and DL’ed it.
But the After Effects updates… still an issue as the patches apparently only apply to trial versions. Which was why I was asking, where are the patches for the retail versions?
So you’re right about the Mac situation. Unfortunately there exists a plethora of users having to stick to older Mac hardware and thus older OSX systems for specific work, e.g., film scanning where the scanners can only run on older software and system.
Kudos again for your effort. But yes, it sucks to see Adobe removing all these legacy resources a few years ago, without prior warning. They should’ve informed customers (esp. of older software versions) that online update and patch downloads are not forever, and warn them to download any resources beforehand.
But even worse, they’ve failed to repack all software updates into one executable file for each of such applications. Had they done that, I’m sure the total update patches wouldn’t be this big (~9.9GB). Which was possibly why, many people would find manually downloading the patches cumbersome, and instead relied on the online update system — until it’s too late and all Hell broke loose.
So I just updated After Effects to version 11.0.4.2 using the Trial updates. I’ve also updated the CS6 update archive with directions for installing CS6 AAM6.2, and then the updates. The trial updates are the correct ones. There are no others for After Effects.
If you haven’t applied the Application Manager 6.2 update now included in the CS6 update archive, then you won’t be able to apply the updates.
Adobe Application Manager 6.2 for CS5, CS5.5, and CS6 needs to be installed before applying updates to Creative Suite 6. The filename is ApplicationManager6.2_all.exe in the archive.
If you cannot apply updates to CS6, then AAM already self-updated to a Creative Cloud version. If this is the case, then you will have to uninstall CS6 and delete the folder at “C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe” and then reinstall.
You have to disconnect from the Internet during your Creative Suite 6 installation. Apply AAM 6.2, then apply the updates all offline.
After installation, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core and rename PDapp.exe to Pdapp.exe.bak so it won’t be able to do any future updates.
Then reconnect to the Internet.
@malchick743
Well Adobe updates are cumulative and you only have to apply the last one to get all the changes.
Also the trial version software is identical to the full versions, so there’s no difference in the updates.
So I recently had to reinstall CS6 non-subscription and tried using the last update instead of starting with the 1st one, the the 2nd, and so on – and it works for some of the CS6 suite but the last version does not work on Premiere Pro and a few others. That would have been nice.
For all the updates that didn’t work, the error was: This update does not apply to you.
So the only way to tell for sure would be to update to the later versions of Adobe Application Manager. But again, doing that forces an update to the subscription model which requires you to log in to Adobe with an account.
I will not be troubleshooting on how to get the other updates to apply, as I have a working version of CS6 with out all the updates being applied.
Ahhh, So you figured that out, did ya. Just said that above and before in other posts. Glad you finally figured it out. I presume after the AAM 6.2 is installed, you were able to finally use the AE trial updates to update your CS6 After Effects.
So I do not know if that’s true. Which is why I put all the official updates in one easy-to-access location. They will be preserved on the Internet Archive that way. If for some reason installing the very last update version doesn’t work for someone, they have access to all of them.
If that’s the case, that would indeed be the bees knees and would save a lot of updating.
As far as the trial versions being the same as the retail. That’s been that way since the initial releases of the updates and was the point of me explaining above that they worked. Glad you finally caught on.
Thanks… glad to see these old CS6 links still work.
Got the master cs6 collection and it’s not showing the installation option – it’s appearing blocked and asking for it to be upgraded to work on a 2020 MacBook Air.
What version of macOS are you running? Creative Suite applications like CS6 will not work/run on Catalina or any newer release:
Do My Adobe Apps Work on macOS Catalina (Version 10.15)?
This is because of major changes that Apple made to remove support for older apps in macOS version 10.15 and later. Consequently, only the newest Creative Cloud release will run.
SO what’s the serial for FLASH PRO CS6, please – 1st file
Creative Suite 6 is nine years old now, end-of-life, completely unsupported, and Adobe is no longer making or selling or offering it to anyone:
Update: You Can No Longer Buy CS6 from Adobe – Here’s Why
Other than that, we can’t help you – sorry.
Is it possible to have a download link for Adobe Application Manager v10 on here?
Yes, Paul – try installing the Adobe Application Manager below, then reboot your computer and see if that helps:
Adobe Application Manager Version 10 for Windows
Adobe Application Manager Version 10 for macOS
This will install the Adobe Application Manager included with Creative Cloud, Creative Suite 6, Creative Suite 5 products. Typically it is only necessary to run this patch if you are receiving one of the following error messages: “Adobe Application Manager is needed to update your product” or “Adobe Application Manager is needed to start your trial”
illustrator cs6 is not working…
Those standalone installers are given in the table above – and yes, they do still work (we just tested them).
You just need to follow the download directions first, is all – which are required by Adobe’s servers.
Otherwise, the links won’t work and you’ll get an “access denied” message instead.
Illustrator CS6 updates will not install if the Creative cloud version Application Manager is installed.
If you install CS6 Master Collection or even just the CS6 version of Illustrator by itself while online, the very first update is Adobe Application Manager.
If you have installed while online you can try to delete the OOBE folder, unplug the Ethernet cable or disconnect from Wi-Fi, then reinstall AAM 6.2 offline.
Do not use Adobe’s update servers to update Illustrator CS6. You have to manually update Illustrator with the updates while offline.
Is there any way to get the Creative Cloud-specific features with a normal Master Collection license?
Hi Leo,
No. Adobe stopped selling those “perpetual” licenses many years ago:
Update: You Can No Longer Buy CS6 from Adobe – Here’s Why
So all of the Adobe’s major creative apps (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Animate, etc.) since 2012 are available only via subscription. However, there are many different plans available across various price ranges:
http://www.ChooseCreativeCloud.com/
If you have the permanent license version of CS6 then you can try to manually apply the CS6 subscription version updates.
But doing so may trash your permanent licensed version of CS6 as it would require you to log in with an Adobe cloud account from that point on, requiring you to completely uninstall CS6 (and any leftover folders) if you want to reinstall.
Time to search the Wayback Machine to find the updates.
Seriously, why is the option to literally change the size of a color wheel locked behind a subscription model?
Is this version of Adobe cs6 permanent or is this just for 30 days?
These links are for both the free trials as well as the full versions, if you have a valid purchased serial number.
In other words, these downloads can be fully-activated without having to reinstall the programs.
Of course, this software is almost 10 years old now and Adobe has long since stopped selling it.
where can I get a valid serial number
As mentioned, they are no longer sold:
Adobe Has Stopped Selling Creative Suite 6 Entirely – Here’s Why
Why do you want CS6? It’s from 2012 and won’t install or run on modern operating systems like macOS Catalina or Big Sur… It will usually still run on Windows, sometimes with Compatibility Mode, though plenty of users have still reported issues over the years.
To reply to ProDesignTools, it runs on all versions of Windows flawlessly.
To PDT’s credit, it definitely won’t work on macOS Catalina+. So if you want a macOS version, make sure you either have a Mac with Mojave or below, or a VM to run Mojave.
I’m on the verge of losing Fireworks CS6 because I’m still using Windows 7, and Adobe has ceased compatibility with 7. Even if I were to upgrade my current PC (which I don’t plan to do) or buy an entirely new machine with an updated version of Windows (which I do plan to do), I’ll lose Fireworks, because Adobe can’t establish a connection to my CC desktop app, so now I’m stuck in the “30 day grace period” with time running out. What I need to know is, is the direct download link to Fireworks CS6 featured on this site the full version, or is it a trial version? I’m hoping and praying it’s the former, because the only other downloadable versions I’m finding of Fireworks online are trial versions.
Hey Joseph, no worries – with a valid purchased serial number or a current/paid Creative Cloud subscription, the Fireworks installer above will indeed activate the full version.
The other good news is Windows 7 can be updated to support signing in to Creative Cloud… Our guess is you’re probably getting this error message due to outdated TLS security support:
If so, just follow the instructions on this support page, and then your Windows 7 computer should be able to connect to the CC Desktop app again.
@ProDesignTools Thank you so very, very much! As it turns out, that EasyFix is exactly what I needed, so now, my connection to Adobe’s servers has been restored on my current Windows 7 PC!
As a backup, I will keep this page bookmarked so that in the event that I still may lose Fireworks, I can come back here and install it again.
Thanks again for your assistance!
Aw, so glad to hear it, Joseph! We were wondering if that might help fix the Windows 7 issue for you, and great news that it did. Thanks for letting us know!
Good idea to bookmark this page. We’d also suggest downloading the Fireworks installer now and keeping it in a safe place, since you rely on that software so much… That way, there’s no doubt that you’ll have it should you need it in the future. It’s free to download so it certainly couldn’t hurt.
Best of luck!
The links for Camera Raw 9.1.1 Mac English and Europe don’t work – can you fix it? Thanks.
Actually those ACR standalone installers do still work – we just tested them.
You just need to follow the download directions first, is all – which are required by Adobe’s servers.
Otherwise, the links won’t work and you’ll get an “access denied” message instead.
It won’t work for my computer running High Sierra either. Click and nothing happens.
I downloaded Camera Raw 9.1.1 from a direct link. Please help me install Camera Raw 9.1.1 on mac. I read the instructions and there I did not find how to install Camera Raw 9.1.1
See: how to install software from DMG files on a Mac.
Thank you so much.
I was looking at Illustrator CS6, to check compatibility of my old .Ai files.
But I didn’t find the software on the Adobe website.
I got an error “Access denied…”, I even logged into my adobe account. But after I click the link on your instruction, I can download the files. I’m still confused, even though the link looks like an ordinary link, but why do we have to click on the link so we can download it?
So glad the CS6 downloads helped!
Yes, following those instructions (first) is essential in order for the direct links to work… That process sets a session cookie on your browser that is required by Adobe’s download servers; otherwise you will get “access denied” instead when clicking on the links.
It was not an issue when starting a download from Adobe’s own website, because they set the cookie themselves. But here, you are coming from an independent site to download the CS6 installers, so that extra step is needed.
Thank you for the explanation.
I’m really happy to have found this website. 👍
Thanks, that’s great to hear!
Creative Suite 6 – Adobe CS6 Download Links
Camera raw 9.1.1 under English, the link is not working so I right-clicked and saved as, and received the message CR zip can’t be downloaded securely
Just tested, and all the links work fine for us. Make sure to follow the download directions first, which are required by Adobe’s servers.
If still no luck, then try a different web browser or another computer.
@ProDesigntools, thanks for the fast response. Yes, I did read the instructions prior to downloading. I actually downloaded 2 other files from above without any issue. Only Camera raw 9.1.1 under English gave me an issue. What browser were you using? I used Chrome. I’ll try another browser and report back.
Tried another browser, same issue. What’s funny is I was able to download the other files with no issue. I keep getting a message “can’t be downloaded securely.”
Which of these do you think may be the issue?
“Adobe recommends temporarily turning off any surfing restrictions you might have running, like site or cookie blocking, filtering, firewalls or antivirus software.”
I did: Click «HERE» to visit this page first, before clicking any of the links in the table below – this is critical!
Which other browser did you try? Firefox works fine.
Chrome has a problem with these links because Adobe’s download server is http instead of https. That’s why you get that message. But there’s nothing we can do about that.
Nevertheless, it should work when using another web browser like Firefox, Edge, Opera or Safari. No problems at all downloading with any of those. And of course the file is still coming directly from Adobe, so it’s safe.
