@edward
Additional info… I am on an iMac with 16GB ram.
Sorry Edward, we have no idea – nobody has ever reported anything like that here before… Often people get slow speeds when using the Adobe Download Assistant which comes automatically on Adobe’s site, and then they come here for the CS6 direct download links which can be much faster without it.
I’m having a hard time downloading the trial of PS CS6 on the download manager so I tried it here. I tried for three days but I get cut off when it’s almost done. I have cable internet but it only gives me 32Mb download. Why do I get cut off…looks like someone is terminating it and now they blocked my access. Could you speed up my access so I can download it faster?
Disregard the access…I was able to again by rebooting my computer… I will try again now.
Is there a time out on your download server? My estimated download time is 10+ hours and when it reaches like 1-2 hours to go, it terminates.
Hi Tham, we don’t control the actual servers – they are all Adobe’s computers. There shouldn’t be a timeout or cutoff on their end, but perhaps it’s something in the connection somewhere. Try a different browser, computer, or Internet connection (definitely no Wi-Fi).
The download manager program i’m trying to use says that I need a password from adobe.com. Did I do something wrong? When I try directly from my browser it’s fine. The problem is, I have dial up and my download program will let me resume if I get kicked offline.
Hey there Sarah, the only password we’ve ever heard of is the one from your Adobe ID account mentioned in step 2 of the download instructions in the article. Outside of that, there shouldn’t be anything – all these downloads are free and unrestricted.
sir, i followed all the above steps to download…but still i’m getting “the server replies you don’t have permission to download this file…” details http/1.1 403 forbidden
but i have downloaded the first part, that is the file 1…when downloading the second part this error occurs…pls help
Hello Sayan, which CS6 product trial are you trying to download? Please see this list of download suggestions for additional tips on how to use these links successfully.
Will Photoshop CS6 run on my iMac Intel Core 2 Duo processor??? (Even if it can only do 32-bit not the full 64?)
Greetings Brittney, just check the official CS6 system requirements… Your CPU should be okay, and Photoshop is not one of the CS6 applications that requires a 64-bit system.
Sir, I don’t have permission to start the direct download
Please help!!
Sure Arif, just make sure you carefully follow the download instructions given in the article and you should be fine.
Do i need to download file 2 before file 1? because file 1 is telling me I’m missing archive file and need to download the missing parts.
Hi Claudia, for the Windows versions you need to download both files and put them in the same folder on your computer – someplace on your C: drive, your Desktop will work fine. Then double-click to run the .exe file.
what happens after i put them in the same folder?
Well you just run the .exe file (double-click it) to get started, and follow the instructions.
hey the links do not work!! it keeps saying access denied?? why
Well, you just need to carefully follow the step-by-step download instructions given in the article above.
Thanks for this chance to know it.
@ tham yea… you’re right.. same exact thing happening to me, i tried the (DAP) Manager but it asks me for a password for adobe.com.
Hey Milan, it’s probably the login (username and password) from your Adobe ID account as referenced in Step 2 of the instructions in the article.

“Check Available Space on your computer and the write privileges on the destination folder”
It’s the message which I get while installing Adobe Photoshop CS6… I have 11.5GB of free space in my C drive but it gives me this message when I try to install the software.. Can you please help ???
Sure Syed, for that message please read this previous reply to Peg to see if that helps.
CS6 Standard for MAC gets denied when trying to download from an iMac and yes I followed the instructions carefully. And just sits at 0.0 when trying to download the Mac version onto a Windows PC.
Nicely done Adobe!!
It works just fine for us here Craig, downloading the Mac version of CS6 Design Standard onto a Windows 8 PC, just like you said… Just tested and no problems. Try the download tips mentioned in the comments above if you’re having difficulties.
Thank you for the link.
I spent a lot of time trying to download other programs after having no trouble with the Cloud method / file manager last week getting the first 3 (Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator).
It just won’t work anymore.
I tried your direct links page and got one to download (Muse) which I don’t even want, was just a test.
What I’ve found is my computer says the others that won’t install don’t have digital signatures, the Muse program was the only one out of a few I tried that did.
Apart from this I keep getting messages saying I don’t have enough disk space or write privileges (I have 100 Gig free space and running as Administrator.)
I conclude (since I have never come across these problems before) that either your downloads are corrupt or my computer has something missing.
Any ideas?
Hi Andrew, the files definitely are not corrupt – but they are large so it’s quite possible that a download could come across incomplete, especially if you aren’t using a strong Internet connection or are using Wi-Fi… Here are some suggestions you can try.
For the “write privileges” message, see the response to Syed just above, and hope you get it going.
Thanks for the reply.
I got it all working and for others who are interested the message / problem about not enough disc space / write privileges was not fixable by running as administrator or directing to bigger disc, etc, etc or any of the solutions directly related to that warning, as those issues didn’t exist (I already was when I got the messages!)
The problem was solved by simply changing from my ADSL connection back to the cable connection (which I remembered was the one I used when I downloaded the first successful ones the week before).
So that message about disc space and privileges is misleading (not Adobe’s fault) and the solution for anyone else who thinks the download manager is buggy would likely be the same as mine, switch to a better internet connection. Not that my ADSL is total crap (works fine and fast) but the cable must deliver in a safer way (no lost data).
Anyway while it was working I sat here and downloaded the entire collection of Adobe stuff on the list using the download manager and I’m a very happy customer, thanks!!!!
Great, glad to hear you got it going Andrew – and thanks for sharing how you solved that!

Even if I follow all instructions properly.
Hey there John, if you’re following the directions but still running into difficulty, then try these download tips.
OK But it’s only for ENGLISH…. is it possible to obtain for ITALIAN ?
I CAN’T USE IDM… useless link.
Yes, the links with Italian are under the “Western Europe” columns in the table – all the languages available are listed just above the instructions.
IDM works fine, there’s no problem at all – in fact it’s a very fast way to download these free trials… You just have to carefully follow the directions given in the article.
