I’m getting this as did “jackson” earlier, followed the instructions pretty well.
HTTP ERROR: 404 /support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
RequestURI=/support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
It appears when you click the link, right clicking and “save as” only gets a .part file, and not the full .exe and .7z. any ideas? and thanks for the site… good stuff
^ and that’s not only on Premiere CS4, but all links I attempted for test, lol.
Well if you have a “.part” file then it sounds like your downloads are successfully starting but then stopping shortly thereafter… What type of Internet connection are you using? Is it fast and solid (not Wi-Fi)? Try something different, another browser or computer possibly as well.
I’m getting the exact same 404 error and no .part file. The download doesn’t start at all. I’m on a fiber-optic connection at 30Mbps
Well, just checked again and the downloads start and work fine on our end… Make sure you’re following the directions carefully. You might also try a different browser or computer, that often helps.
@ Jackson
This is not correct. The session information is not being passed to ProDesignTools, there’s no mechanism for that happening. It’s very likely a direct check from the Adobe server to ensure you have an active session before allowing you to download.
Yes, that’s exactly right – well put, thanks.

Ok, fixed, It does pay to follow the instructions, especially the one with the link to download Adobe Photoshop CS6, that’s the part that threw me off. I thought it was just an offer to try CS6 and ignored it, but that is a crucial step!
Absolutely – in fact it’s the most critical step… Glad you got it going!
This is what I’m getting, why?
HTTP ERROR: 404 /support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
RequestURI=/support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
Are you carefully following the download instructions given in the article, step-by-step?
It’s essential to do that before trying to click on any of the links in the tables.
o.k., thanks for the recheck. i had tried other browsers, i even downloaded the “download assistant” from adobe and tried going in that way. i downloaded 3 files directly from adobe, with and without their “assistant”, with no problems, except when i hit your “file 1” button, lol.
i worked your link in 2 different browsers, and it was the only one misfiring. or that has given me that 404 message. i appreciate your response, and will try it when possible from a different computer at a different place. i found this note on another site regarding your method, and tried it too: “You need to start downloading the CS5.5 trial first using Adobe Download Assistant and once you are signed in to that and Premiere Pro CS5.5 is downloading, you can start the download from Pro Design Tools, just cancel the cs5.5 download.”
now, i of course tried downloading cs6, cs5, and cs4, which i got with no problems, all the while trying your link with the others being cancelled, paused, and still running. thus is my fortune with programs, lol. anyway, as a last kick to my logic, could you verify that this is the link you have attached to the file that works for you? prodesigntools.com/trials/Applications/PremierePro/CS4/Win/ADBEPPROCS4_LS7.exe and then it redirects to /support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp which is the 404 message, without loading anything. when i “save link as” it saves it to my drive, in its entirety, but still as “.part” files, maybe because of the name? i dunno. thanks again for reading and responding.
Yes, that link works perfectly here and immediately downloads the .EXE file after following the directions… It should not ever go to anything with “DLM” if the instructions are working properly for you.
Hi guys !
Great job keeping these programs online !!
However I do have a “problem,” I desperately need Illustrator CS3 in Danish… My guess is that it’s in an Europe-pack of some sort… Can anyone help me, please? :-)
Sorry Kristian, don’t know if that’s available… Ordinarily here you can get the trials for other CS3 languages (like Western Europe) by copying the links above, and then replacing the “_WWE” near the end with another suffix… For example:
Use “_WWF” for French
Use “_WWS” for Spanish
Use “_DE” for German
Use “_NL” for Dutch
Use “_I” for Italian
Use “_S” for Swedish
Use “_JPL” for Japanese
Use “_KO” for Korean
If the existing link has “_ALP” or “_MLP” instead (or no suffix) then you just keep it as is, because the package already all languages available in that single file.
But we could not figure out what to replace “_WWE” with for Danish… If you get it, please let us know.
I was able to download the file and save, however, when I try to run the file, it keep asking me where to open the file? What should I do?
Please ignore … was able to get it
I really need the cs4 download but all the files give me the HTTP ERROR… Is there is another link to download photoshop cs4, I need it as my disk is bad.
Just carefully follow the important directions in the article and you should be fine, or read some of the earlier comments if you’re having trouble – thanks.
There are no other links BTW – these are for the original and authentic direct downloads coming from Adobe’s servers, and it’s not allowed to host or post them anywhere else.
yesterday i started the download for the Photoshop CS4 product trial, but i had a problem with my internet so i tried to download it again today but i can’t
this message appeared: “HTTP ERROR: 404 /support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp ”
i deleted the incomplete dowmload and tried from another browser but that message also appeared
Well unfortunately sometimes it happens that you get “locked out” from Adobe’s servers for a while, especially after an aborted download… Please see Kate’s earlier comments, the things she tried, and the series of responses following – and hopefully that will get you going.
I wanted to try the Premiere Pro CS4 Extra Content. I was able to download the 1st file (*.exe) but when I try to download the *.7z, it directs me to an empty page saying that the server is not available: “The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.”
I followed all the instructions, tried again but same message. Same issue with Chrome, Komodo, Maxton and PaleMoon browsers. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Hmm, not sure Loco – we just tested all of the Extra Content download links above (all files for CS4) and they all work fine and download perfectly on our end… Maybe try a different computer or Internet connection? Or wait a bit and try again later – sometimes Adobe’s servers get moody and lock people out…
Is the Photoshop CS4 free trial still available for download ?
I didn’t found its link for download on the website of Adobe :
https://www.adobe.com/downloads
and the link here didn’t work …so I wondered if it still available any more.
Yes, all of the CS4 free trials are available via these working direct download links from Adobe’s servers, and you just have to carefully follow the directions near the top of the article to access them.
@ ProDesignTools
Hi…
Many many thank yous for the help!
I figured out that if you replace “_WWE” with “_DK”
then it will download in Danish.
Again, thank you very much!
Hey, that’s great news Kristian – glad to hear you got it working, and thank you for circling back to share what you did here.
I am working on downloading now. Do I need to download all files? EX: File 1, File 2 in the Free Trial, and File 1 and File 2 in the Extra Content.
Yes Darrin, definitely.
Hey Guys, need a little help. Comparing my system with that of the requirements to operate CS4 I should not have any problems, but instead I’m getting the message “You can’t open the application “Adobe Photoshop CS4.app” because it is not supported on this architecture.” I’m on a 2.5 Ghz Quadcore PowerPC Mac, OS 10.5.8, GeForce 6600 graphic card, 10gb Ram and broadband connection. Am I missing something here? Does my system not meet the requirements? During the install, it went through a system verification and I received a “Successful Download” confirmation at the end, yet I got the message twice. Thanks for any help.
Hi Ptah, take a look at this Adobe Forum discussion and see if that helps.
Hey! I would be looking to get the cs5.5 master collection download, is that download available ? thank you.
Yes Antoine – just see the CS5.5 Direct Download Links.
Hi, is it possible to install the downloaded files on a different computer? Like this – download the files with one system, copy it to a other and install it there.
Thank you, Bud
Yes, definitely Bud – no problems with that as Adobe’s trial files should install most anywhere.
Thank you for your answer and this site. It works fine.
Here I have found what i was looking for…
Thank you again
Bud :-)
You bet Bud, glad we could help!
Thanks for some great info.
I’m trying to download CS4 Design Premium and have been able to get right up to where it starts to download (I’ve tried on 2 Macbook Pros and in both Safari and Chrome) and the download just freezes right at the beginning.
How do I solve this so that the file “CS4.dmg.crdownload” downloads to completion?
Thank you.
Hello Nastassja, are you trying to use Wi-Fi? Or are you using a cabled Internet connection? (better and more reliable)
These are large files, do you have a fast connection? Is it possible to try another?
Hi,
I have my original key for Creative Suite 3. I downloaded this trial software from your site and it installed fine but when I go to open it I get this message:
Licensing for this product has stopped working. You must repair the pr……
I have uninstalled and installed but no luck same problem. Could you help me please?
Thanks,
Kev
Greetings Kevin, sorry you’re having troubles with that. You can try the troubleshooting steps given on this Adobe help page:

Can the trial version of CS4 Design Premium be converted to a permanent version if I enter my serial numbers from my install disks? I have a new iMac w/ out a disk drive.
Yes Jeff, and that’s one reason why these are so handy to have.
Getting this error while trying to download files ..!
HTTP ERROR: 404 /support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
RequestURI=/support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
.. I found that If I am trying to download it with a download manager integrated with the browser, the error is occuring .. I have tried in several browsers (chrome, chrome dev, firefox, ie, dragon, safari).. and same is happening ..! I am using IDM.. but the download is starting only the browser itself downloads the file without any extensions or download managers ..! so i think we can download only with the browser itself ..!
