Yesterday at Adobe MAX – the world’s largest creativity conference – Adobe unveiled the Creative Cloud 2026 release, a major new version delivering many groundbreaking advancements across the entire product line. CC 2026 brings impressive new time-saving features to these industry-leading tools and services, including a conversational AI Assistant integrated into Photoshop (!) which lets you create and edit content using natural language.
The latest 2026 software is available immediately for worldwide download via the CC Desktop App… All updates are included at no additional cost – which means everyone gets either a free upgrade or a free trial of the new versions.
But some users want or need to access the new tools directly without using Adobe’s download/app manager… This is essential when you want to keep and make permanent offline backups, copy them onto a USB drive for use anywhere, download on one system to install on another (or multiple computers) without re-downloading, have a slow Internet connection which is capped or throttled or hangs/freezes/stops when trying to use the Desktop app to download 30 GB of CC upgrades, etc. All of these use cases necessitate being able to get direct download links for offline installers.

In recent years, the standalone installers for new releases have not been made publicly available by the company. However, good news: you can still get the new 2026 direct download links yourself by contacting Customer Service… Just reach out to Adobe’s Customer Care team via live online chat, and they will immediately give you temporary links to download offline installers for the 2026 apps that you need.
You simply need to ask them. We suggest:
Hello, I need the direct download links (offline installers) for the new 2026 releases of _________. Could you please help me?
You can connect with an agent to get the downloads here. Look for “Contact Us” or “Your contact options…” at the bottom of the page, or the Chat icon at the lower right. If asked, choose the “Download & Install” category.
We are told that all Adobe customer service reps across all locations have the ability and authorization to distribute the new 2026 standalone installers, which they can access through their internal version repository. We recommend retrying or asking for a supervisor if you run into any difficulty.
From what we’ve seen, free trial users have a harder time getting the latest installers… But if you are not currently a paid subscriber, then you could become one to access the 2026 installers you need and then cancel within 14 days for a full refund if you do not wish to continue your paid membership.
Or, You Can Do This Instead…
Here is another great option, a different way to get them. Adobe has a separate offer for you to get a free Creative Cloud for Teams trial for 14 days. Anybody can sign up for this, even just a single person. Teams plan users have access to the Admin Console for creating your own custom Managed packages to download the latest 2026 offline installers and/or previous versions – with updates included – for use wherever you want, on any computer.
You can get this 14-day tryout regardless of whether you have a paid Individual subscription, or even if you have just the free level of membership. After sign-up, you can download the app installers and get started immediately. Cancel anytime during the free trial period and you won’t be charged. Even afterwards, you can still cancel for up to 14 days after a paid subscription begins and get a full refund.
For more info, check out the Adobe help page detailing this offer:
» Start Your Creative Cloud for Teams Free Trial Now
There is no obligation to remove any of the Creative Cloud apps you install with a Managed Package; however the tools will continue to work only with an ongoing paid membership plan of some type (Individual or Teams).
But the best part is that you do not lose access to the Admin Console even after your Teams trial expires. You can still sign in to the Admin Console at any time to create new or additional CC installer downloads which you can use anywhere and with any Creative Cloud plan (including the Individuals plans). You can even download older releases.
We’ve tried this out and it works seamlessly as described, even if you already have an Individual plan or if you currently have no paid plan at all. You also don’t need to be part of a company or have a business. If you go this route, please let us know how it goes, or if you encounter any issues!

Changing System Requirements
Also important to know that the minimum system requirements have changed on Mac in order to take advantage of the latest operating system features and technologies… The CC 2026 release requires macOS 13 (Ventura) or later. MacOS 12 (Monterey) and 11 (Big Sur) are no longer supported. If you’re not yet running a compatible version, you can get a free upgrade directly from Apple. While Ventura is the minimum, Sonoma (version 15.x) is recommended by Adobe.
On PCs, Windows 10 64-bit (version 21H2 or higher) and Windows 11 (version 23H2 or higher) continue to be the supported platforms for all Creative Cloud applications. Except for Acrobat DC 2026, the latest CC apps do not support 32-bit or Windows 7 or Windows 8 operating systems – and the 32-bit support for Acrobat is being phased out.
Adobe explains that focusing their efforts on modern OS versions allows them to develop the features and functionality most requested by customers, while ensuring peak performance that takes advantage of newer hardware. For more details, please consult the complete CC 2026 System Requirements. If these specifications don’t work for you for some reason, then you can continue to use the older CC 2025 applications.

Photoshop remains my most used software even in 2026
I would like an update on my 2001 Illustrator.
Sorry, John – not sure what you mean?
I need an update (upgrade downloadable software) for my 2001 Illustrator, please.
Unfortunately, that’s not possible. Adobe no longer releases standalone downloadable updates… You can’t download and apply patches like you used to.
The only way to update any Adobe software now is through the Creative Cloud Desktop app. You can open that and see if there are any updates available for your version.
Is there an offline installer for Bridge without registration? Since it’s a free software.
No – since CC 2019, Adobe Bridge is still 100% free; it’s just a (free) Adobe ID login is now required for everyone in order to run it, whether you’re a no-cost Creative Cloud member or a paid subscriber.
can anyone help me figure out how to download cc for MAC OS Mojave 32-bit. We want to use it on our 2015 imac until our new computer gets here, and just downloaded Mojave so it would work with this computer.
We only need photoshop and illustrator on this computer and DO have a current CC subscription but do not have any apps downloaded. thank you
Greetings Wesley,
The last release of Creative Cloud to support macOS v. 10.14 “Mojave” was CC 2021… Apple does offer free operating system upgrades(in order to run a more recent version of CC), but your computer has to be able to support a newer release of macOS.
Regardless, Adobe has an “N-1” Support Policy which means they will only offer and support the current major release and the one prior.
So technically, now, that would mean CC 2026 (above) and CC 2025. In general, they have discontinued installers for earlier versions.
There is one single exception, however. It’s not a standalone installer or direct link – but for customers who need to, you can still download Photoshop 2021 (PS version 22.2) using the Creative Cloud Desktop app by following these instructions… Adobe has made (just) this older release available for users who still wish to use the now defunct 3D functionality in Photoshop.
We think Adobe should really still be giving out prior installers because many subscribers do need them, if for some reason you can’t run the latest CC release – like when you have a somewhat older computer or operating system. The company could still provide these versions, but just disavow any and all official support.
This is up to Adobe though, not us. Wish there was more we could do, but there it is.
I want offline download resources for all Adobe installation packages.
thanks
