  1. HI again,

I solved my problem, the Creative Cloud Desktop not being able to connect to servers that many people seem to have an issue with, by contacting Adobe’s online chat support. The tech support person figured out the issue was with DNS settings and sorted the problem for me, so all is now good.

Just thought I’d post in case anyone else with the issue is still unresolved.

  2. I just downloaded Premiere CC to both my laptop and imac and for some reason, the imac downloaded 15.2 and the laptop 15.0. I started working on my project on my imac and when I tried to open the file on my laptop, it said it was no longer compatible.

I tried to update my laptop version both on this site and through CC and had no luck. I got the error that updates could not be applied. I also spent hours on the phone with tech support which concluded with them saying there was no such thing as 15.2. I tried to re-download PP several times, but got 15.0 without the updates.

I need to be able to work between both computers so this has been very frustrating.

    • Hi Jennifer, that sounds like an “Update Failed / Updates could not be applied. This patch is not applicable for you” message, is that right?

Sorry you’re having difficulties, it does happen sometimes. See our suggestions here for (hopefully) how to take care of that issue.

      Hope that helps!

  3. I tried to download the Adobe After Effects Release 13.7.2 Mac Update but when I click on the link it brings me to your news page. Unable to download the latest patch for it.

    Anything wrong here?

    • Not sure Jojo, just checked the update you mentioned and it works fine for us here. No problems downloading at all. Did you try with a different web browser or another computer?

Also make sure you’re not blocking or filtering anything with your browser(s) – like cookies, downloads, or any sites or URLs – or running blocking utilities like Ghostery, AdBlock, or Disconnect. Adobe recommends temporarily turning those things off (including antivirus, firewalls, etc.) when downloading. Some third-party download managers or other utilities may also interfere with the process.

  4. why are the only apps that can update offline photoshop and adobe premiere – it’s crazy, someone have a fix???

  5. I crack and all the softwares install updates works fine offline, but indesign and illustrator can’t install updates???

    • All of the CC 2015 product update download links here have been verified – they come direct from Adobe’s servers and all of them work perfectly fine…

But if you’re trying to install a crack of some kind, then that’s a really bad idea – and we cannot guess what it’s done to your system, sorry.

  6. It would be great if this list could be sorted by date released, it would make finding updates much easier.

    Reply
    • Thanks for the suggestion Christopher. The updates for each tool are sorted by date, just as Adobe does it. If we sorted all updates just by date, then others would likely ask that we sort them by tool instead. The reason is because the CC Desktop App issues notifications and updates by tool.

    • Yes, us too. We had posted the Experience Design CC direct download link above a couple months ago when XD first came out, but were asked by Adobe to remove it. The reason is because it is not a standard Mac DMG installer file; rather, they are making it depend on using the CC Desktop App for installation instead.

We had been trying to figure out how to install the product without using the CC Desktop App, as can be done for every other major Creative Cloud application… But as Adobe stated, it does not seem to be possible – at least not easily or obviously.

So regrettably because we had to take down the link per Adobe’s request.

If you wish this to change and would like to see an XD standalone installer available, then please express your feedback directly to the Experience Design team here:

Please Provide a Standard, Standalone Installer/Download for Adobe XD

  7. Apparently there’s a 3.7.0.271 CC Desktop app that came out a couple of days ago, but when we install it, it changes some of the subfolders, but it doesn’t change the version number of the app.

Have you had a chance to look at that one and see what’s up with it?

    • Thanks for the further details. Try following these instructions and see what you get:

To check the version of the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app:

      1. Launch the Creative Cloud desktop app.
      2. Sign in with your Adobe ID if necessary.
      3. Click the gear icon at the upper right, and choose Preferences > General.

  8. Yeah *that* still says 3.6.0.248.

We didn’t know if you had more insight as to why the plist in the installer changed version numbers.

When we manually ran this against an old machine that had 3.6,0.248 installed, it *did* update some of the “Panel” folder contents in /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Creative Cloud, but not the actual desktop app itself.

But we can’t find anything underlying that references the 3.7.0.272 of the installer.

  9. Just FYI (what we saw) — with 3.6.0.248 installed a number of weeks ago on a reload, we ran the “3.7.0.271” installer manually. The *app* folder (in the ACC) folder was not touched, but a number of other folders were:

But nothing is referencing this 3.7.0.27x change anywhere. We love Adobe….

    • Yes, that same 3.6.0.248 version is what our machines here say as well… There has been no new update download recently of which we are aware. So until or unless that happens, we have nothing that we can add to this page – sorry!

  10. @ProDesignTools

FWIW — 3.7.0.272 is actually now showing up here when we reinstalled a rebuild of the download last night. Even in General –> Preferences it now says 3.7.0.272 and the info.plist file for the app says “3.7”

    • Thank you Steve – just checked and we still don’t see it available on our desktops (nor in the online release notes), but will keep a close eye on it going forward!

    • …And just a quick update: Version 3.7.0.272 of the Creative Cloud Desktop App was officially released on Monday 6/13, and a direct download link to the full offline installer is now posted above. Thanks for the heads-up!

  11. FYI – Full Versions and Updates to Adobe CC apps were published yesterday. Full version updates include Photoshop, Illustrator, Muse, Animate, Audition and Media Encoder. Standard app updates include InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro. This is as of June 20th.

    • Hello again everyone, just a quick update with some good news. We were contacted yesterday evening by an Adobe Product Manager who says the company is aware of the situation and hoping to find a solution to restore direct download links and standalone installers for all tools in the new release! So we’re happy to report they are listening to customers and hearing your feedback.

It looks like there is some progress made with Photoshop, but we are still waiting for cohesiveness in how the ESD packages are handled, including providing standard installers for all the other CC applications. Another point is that for some reason the CC Desktop App won’t completely recognize when the new install is performed outside of it. So both we and Adobe are investigating and pursuing these issues further.

So you might want to hold off on using that for the moment, until Adobe learns more about why the direct link install isn’t working 100% perfectly (and fixes it)… Also to pull in all the other CC tools.

Please stay tuned to this space where we will keep you updated in the coming days, or however long it takes!

    • Yes, good news: It turns out installer technology for InDesign has not yet been changed by Adobe (as it has for most of the other CC tools) – and so for the moment, InDesign continues with the standard full package download…

So we’ve just added the latest direct download links for that application to the table above.

Hope that gets you towards where you need to go.

  12. Hello everyone,

We’re pleased to be able to add the direct links for the new standalone installers for Photoshop CC 2015.5 and 2015.5.1 to the downloads table above.

These new links and installers are now available for your download and use.

For the latest versions of the rest of the CC 2015.x applications, please see our current update here.

    Hope that helps!

  13. Hey guys, I don’t know if this is relevant. But for “El Capitan” users who want to keep installing these DMG updates instead of the latest ones. Try to step away from the latest El Capitan Updates. (10.11.5; 10.11.6) because they won’t work and will be forced to install creative cloud and download it from there. The DMG installer stops and gives you an error suggesting that you should upgrade to the latest version of every adobe product.

I downgraded my system to Mac OS v. 10.11.3 so I can still use this downloadable updates and keep my Premiere, After Effects projects on the same version.

Hope this helps. Cheers to everyone.

  14. Do I have to go through each update to get to the up-to-date version? Or I can install the base release and simply update with latest available one?

    Thanks.

    Reply
    • It’s the latter. All Adobe updates are cumulative – so if you’re running some version of CC 2015 and you want the latest release, then you only need to download & install the last (most recent) update here.
