I love the site, can you post the latest indesgn cc pls? I have used the site when the cloud install can’t install updates
Hey Paul, we are not aware of any new InDesign updates available at this time. What you see above is everything that has been officially released by Adobe to date. When/if there are new update(s) announced, you will find them right here.
I try to install Adobe Lightroom, but the version 6.3 says: “Adobe Application Manager is needed to resolve this problem, however it is missing or damaged. Download a new copy of Adobe Application Manager or install this product again”.
I suspect that I have to install Photoshop?
Also, I don’t want to install cc versions as they seem buggy to me. Which version should I buy with Lightroom though? Photoshop CS6 or Photoshop CC?
Hi Yannis – if you are using CC software and were advised to download a new copy of Adobe Application Manager, please follow the following URL and download the latest Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application:
http://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/desktop-app.html
Alternatively, you can use the direct download link to the latest update for the CC Desktop App given above – and that should hopefully take care of the message you received.
Your second question has to do with comparing CC 2015 vs. CS6.
Your best bet to go along with Lightroom CC or Lightroom 6 is to get Photoshop CC. The latest releases of both Photoshop and Lightroom are included in Adobe’s $9.99/mo. plan and have tons more features than CS6, plus are complementary and well-integrated together:
Adobe Gives Ongoing Discount for Photoshop + Lightroom CC Plan
Here in our offices, we have not had any significant issues with either of these current tools.
As far as Photoshop CS6 goes, Adobe ceased selling CS6 on their website last year. The reason is because it’s nearly 4 years old now and increasingly unsupported; they stopped releasing updates for it some time ago as the newer CC quickly grew and took over. With the CS6 software EOL and end of support, there are no updates, no bug fixes, and no guarantees it will run on future operating systems. So at this point we’ve stopped recommending it as a good or viable option going forward.
I can’t install update offine for after effects. Error “update failed”
Hello Tung, what’s the complete message, in its entirety?
Did you google that? Often that will find a solution.
Hi,
I tried to install the updates for CC 2015 in mac, but I can’t and it didn’t work,
and I want to know if the “hosts file” has an important role when installing the updates.
And I want to Know what are the lines that i need, to update for the host file.
Thanx!!
Hey Erwin, if you’re have questions/issues regarding the hosts file with Adobe software, then see this help page.
Hello There, thanks for the support. I have a problem with the updates.
When i open the dmg file, (Update 9.0.1 for premiere pro), an error appears:
“Update Failed
Updates could not be applied
This patch is not applicable for you. Please check for updates for the Help menu in your product to see a list of latest updates available.
If the problem persists, contact customer support for further assistance.”
Someone could help? I don’t know how to fix it.
Any help appreciated.
Regards
Yes Alejandro, please see this previous comment above for some solutions and suggestions for that issue.
Hope that helps!
I have just finished installing and cracking Photoshop and would now like to install the latest update. However when I try install the update it says the update is not applicable for me. The Photoshop that I am running now is currently version 2015.0.0. This also happens when I try to update the other Adobe programs I have like Indesign and Illustrator. I would greatly appreciate any help.
Sorry Benjamin – that’s because you’re trying to run a crack, which is a really bad idea…
This is the BEST site I have ever found to fix Adobe CC issues.
Your site has saved me many hours of digging and reloading from scratch.
It is a real blessing to tech support people like me that need the right answers.
Thank you for all your hard work.

Wow Robby, really appreciate that – thanks for your comment and the kind words!
Creative Cloud desktop keeps reporting “Unable to load Sync Location” and an error has occurred. reload Creative Cloud. I have done this 3 times without fixing it.
Sure Gregg, this is what turned up from a quick search – you’ll find the answer and steps to follow here… make sure you read all the way through:
How to Fix Adobe CC Desktop App Error: “Unable to load Sync Location”
or
Is There a Solution for the “Unable to load Sync Location” Error?
Also, make sure you are using the latest version of the CC Desktop App – the direct download links are given above. You can see the release you’re running by going to the Settings “gear” icon at the upper right of the app, and then selecting Preferences.
@ProDesignTools
Thanks for the help but it didn’t work. Still getting the same error.
Sorry, it seemed to work for others. You can google around with that exact error message text to see if what else you can find, or contact Adobe Support directly.
Media Encoder 15.2, get an unknown error during the encoding, i tried changing it to software mode, i watched it compressing to see if it was a clip that was bad, it stopped randomly each time. so i downgraded to version 15 and works fine. so I’m updating to 15.1.
I’m still using premiere 15.2, And now that I’m writing this, I did have a problem with premiere. This was a project file from 15.1 and some of the clips did not Translate in the Cache right. when i wanted to preview them they took a few seconds to load and had a yellow bar on top in the time line, showing it needed rendering. but other clips loaded fine and no bar at all above it. I fixed that by deleting all the cache files but after i installed Media encoder 15.1.
Using OS X 10.10.5
Hey Mike – for Premiere Pro in particular, it’s best to continue editing any project in the same original version which created it… See Adobe’s recommendations here:
Updating and Backing up Premiere Project Files: Best Practices
You’ll get better results doing that than if you upgrade and open an older .prproj file in a newer release of Premiere Pro.
If you come across any technical issue with a new product update, then we’d suggest reporting it directly to Adobe using their Feature Request and Bug Report Form.
Hi everyone,
A quick heads-up to let you know that we have started tracking updates to the Creative Cloud Desktop App and are making available the direct download links for several recent updates to this tool…
So going forward, you will be sure to find new updates to the CC Desktop App for Mac offered right here. Thanks for your requests and interest!
Hi I had to wipe my Mac as it would not boot up after a software update. When I re-added my CS5, it would not recognise one of my cameras files – a now-old Nikon D7000. I tried to download CS5 updates but had ‘Some updates failed to install. If you wish to install these updates, please fix the problems below and retry. Adobe Bridge CS5 4.05 update, There was an error downloading this update, Please quit and try again later. Adobe Extension manager CS5 5.0 and Photoshop 12.0.4 update for CS5’. I tried phone support but they said we no longer support CS5 over the phone. What can I do?
Hello Adrian, we tried googling your error message and this was the first result that turned up. Hope it helps:
How to Update Photoshop After a Fresh Installation?
I’m getting Access Denied error trying to download Adobe CC Desktop App version 3.5.1.209. Can someone check the permissions on that file, please?
Yes Lu – as noted in the post above, the CC Desktop App, Muse, and Animate are a bit different from the rest of the updates… You have to follow these download directions first in order to access those direct links, otherwise you’ll get that message coming from Adobe’s servers instead.
I work at a school with 100 device licenses for Adobe CC. The Creative Cloud Manager says my computer is up to date but I am running Lightroom 2015.3, not 2015.4, and 2015.3 won’t work well with El Capitan, lots of glitches. I tried to run the patch from your site link but got the following error:
Update Failed
Updates Could Not Be Applied
Maybe it’s because of the nature of our license. Not blaming you, but can’t believe how difficult it is to get the CC stuff to work properly.
Hey Scott, here’s probably why.
See the bottom of that reply in particular. You may want to talk with your system administrator about how s/he set it up.
@ProDesignTools
So after several conversations with Adobe personnel we figured out what I was doing wrong. I assumed since I already had the software loaded on my computers using a package I needed to “Edit Package”. Instead I needed to “Create Package” and open up the Lightroom group and choose only the update. For device licenses I also learned that I don’t need to be logged on to the computer’s Creative Cloud manager or even go through that interface at all. I just log in at adobe.com, go to Manage Team > Deploy > Create Package > Select the update (not the software), and create the package. I hope that helps someone.
OK, thanks Scott. That makes sense, and yes it’s often different for volume/teams users or multiple seat sites like yours – where the organization might use the Creative Cloud Packager instead to deploy the software throughout the group or enterprise.
What Is the Adobe Creative Cloud Packager, and How to Use It?
Appreciate your following up back here to let us know how it worked out for you.
The Adobe Lightroom 6.5 + CC 2015.5 Update will not install.
Running OS X 10.11.3 on a Mid 2015 MacBook Pro.
Attempting to add screen shots of errors while attempting to run the installer.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Stan
Welcome Stan, your screenshots did not come through. What is the exact message that you received? Do you have any other details you can share about the problem?
Is it an “Update Failed / Updates could not be applied. This patch is not applicable for you” message?
If so, see our suggestions here for (hopefully) how to take care of that issue.
Thank you very much for your valued information. I used the link to update LightRoom 6/CC and it went surely.
Thank you very much for providing all the updates in a single place!
Quick question: If I install Lightroom 6.0 and I want to upgrade to 6.5 Do I have to install all the previous updates first? I mean first install 6.1, then 6.2 then 6.3 etc etc
Sure Gabriel, glad they’re helpful! To answer your question, all of the CC 2015 updates here are cumulative – meaning the last (most recent) update contains all of the previous ones.
Hi.
Any idea why the Acrobat Pro DC link is getting an “ERROR: Incorrect platform selected”?
No, sorry – we’ve never heard of that before! Did you try with a different browser or computer? These downloads are for Mac.
Since a week the “All Acrobat Product Updates” (Mac) Link are showing white Page with Error: Incorrect Platform selected! Could somebody help me, Thank You! :-)
Very sorry, we have not been able to reproduce any problem… Are you still having an issue? Did you try with a different browser or another computer? Are you running any third-party security software that might be blocking or filtering downloads or web pages?
Will you planning on creating a version of the new Flash/Edge now called Adobe Animate?
Direct download links to the Adobe Animate CC updates are given above in the section shared with the Flash Professional CC updates…

Hi,
I’m having the “Cannot connect to Adobe servers” issue, but when I click on any of the direct links above, i get this error mesage
This webpage is not available
ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED.
Any ideas why?
Thanks
@rob
Oh forgot to mention, I’ve tried both Safari and Chrome.
Hi,
When I try to access the update links above I get a Safari can’t find the server “swupdl.adobe.com”. Have tried on Chrome as well with no luck.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Rob
Not sure Rob – usually trying with another browser or different computer helps when readers encounter any issue.
It may be that there’s something unusual on your system that’s giving you problems… perhaps your antivirus or another third-party add-on. We’ve had some readers recently reporting issues when using Kaspersky.
Make sure you’re not blocking or filtering anything with your browsers (like cookies, downloads, or any sites or URLs), or are running any utilities that might restrict your web surfing (like Ghostery or AdBlock). Or possibly check your firewall, antivirus program (esp. Kaspersky), or other third-party security software.
Most people have no problem at all, but occasionally some folks have difficulty because of over-aggressive software or utilities like these. To be clear, Adobe recommends temporarily turning those things off for downloads.
Good luck!
@ProDesignTools
It works now. Wasn’t working before.
