  1. My operating system is Windows 10.1 64-bit. I am a monthly subscriber to Adobe CC Photography Package and am having problems with the latest (either October 2019 or November 2019, not sure exactly which month) updates. I first tried selecting several, starting with Photoshop, then Lightroom, Adobe Camera RAW. Photoshop got to 11% then just hung for about an hour, so I cancelled all of the program updates I had selected. I then tried one (Bridge) on its own, with the same result. Later, I tried clicking on “Update All” and the same thing happened with the first program it was updating.

When I found your site, I thought that your download links were for this version of update files but, reading your information, I am now not sure these links are for the update files but rather for full installations. Is my assumption correct? The reason I ask is that, when I first installed CC (I think that was back in 2014) it took over 2 days to download all of the files, due to my slow internet connection (on a good day, we are extremely lucky if we get 4mbps download speed). I did try downloading Lightroom Classic CC 2019 but when it showed an estimated time of 4 hours, I cancelled it.

I have contacted Adobe Support, but have been waiting for over an hour for a “technical support agent” to become available! Any help will be gratefully appreciated, particularly if you have any suggestion as to how I can get access to “just” the update files!

    • Hey Roy, you ask good questions and your situation is not uncommon. We hear stories like yours all the time where the CC Desktop app either freezes or trickles along at a snail’s pace. Does it ever give you any error code(s)? Adobe has made efforts to gradually improve operation of the Creative Cloud Desktop over the years, but ongoing reports indicate that it still clearly doesn’t work for all customers.

In fact, it’s people like you who are absolutely the reason we fight so hard for Adobe to continue providing direct download links for their products! All too often – especially in rural, remote or developing areas – a strong, fast and unlimited Internet connection is simply not the reality, and either not affordable or not available at all.

So thanks for sharing your experience. There are many customers like you who simply cannot use (or afford) the Creative Cloud Desktop app for one reason or another to maintain their software, and this is another critical reason why direct download links are absolutely needed.

Next question: All the direct download links that you see above are for the CC 2019 releases that came out over last fall and winter. Adobe has not released the offline installers for any additional updates to these applications (as they did for previous versions like CC 2015).

In other words, there are no further product patches/updates available at this time over what you see above for CC 2019. However, we continue to stay in contact with the company about making direct download links available for more CC versions now and going forward.

Furthermore, all standalone CC installers these days include the updates built-in. Meaning that if Adobe returned to providing direct download links to the most recent releases on an ongoing basis, then those would be full installers rather than separate patch updates to download. They have not used the individual patch system for offline installers since 2015.

Finally, as of this writing, direct download links for the new Creative Cloud 2020 release are not available yet… In other words, Adobe has not yet published them.

However, you can follow the ongoing story and further developments here:

      Hope that helps!

Thank you for the reply, which is much appreciated. For your info I gave up waiting for the Adobe technical specialist after waiting around 90 minutes in vain for one to appear!

I guess I’ll live without the updates for now. Annoyingly, though, it means that I cannot open any of the programs using the Adobe CC app, as the only option I have there now is an upgrade button – so I will now have to either have a shortcut on my desktop or pinned to my taskbar, both of which are starting to get cluttered – alternatively, of course, I could always navigate through Windows Explorer! :-(

    • Via the Windows ‘Start’ button (with its menu of all your programs) could be another option – but of course would be slower than a shortcut or direct button.

As for getting touch with Adobe customer service if/when you need to, we recommend contacting them via live online chat if you can, as it usually gets a representative on the line with you very quickly:

  3. While the CC model sounds like a good way to support your software, it’s pathetic that big hi-tech companies like Adobe and Microsoft fail so miserably at being robust about it. There are solutions out there that have been proven to work well on low bandwidth internet. I mean you don’t need to download the same 1GB download every time a hiccup or delay occurs. It’s quite easy to manage a resumeable restartable download if any kind of brain capacity is applied to it.

A Windows 10 update failed on me and when I checked the log it had re-downloaded the exact same 4GB update 14 times after failing to install each time. Have had the same kind of issues with CC, though I must say it’s been doing better in the last year or so.

    • Sorry, not sure; did you receive any error(s) or other messages?

If so, what are they exactly – and did you try googling that to find a solution?

Nobody else has reported any issues, so we’d definitely need more detail in order to help you out.

These direct download links are definitely not fake – on the contrary; they are as real and genuine as you can get, and they absolutely work.

    • Yes, absolutely great point, Célcio – it’s important to check the minimum version of Windows 10 that Adobe requires for the Creative Cloud 2019 release.

For example: for Photoshop CC 2019, it’s Windows 10 version 1709 or later; whereas for Photoshop 2020, it’s Windows 10 version 1809 or later.

See how to check which version of Windows you are running here (via Microsoft).

    • All the direct download links above are for the CC 2019 releases that came out over last fall and winter. Adobe has not released the offline installers for any additional updates to these applications (as they did for previous versions like CC 2015).

In other words, there are no further product patches/updates available at this time over what you see above for CC 2019. However, we continue to stay in contact with the company about making direct download links available for more CC versions now and going forward – and in particular, being able to access the last, fully-updated revisions of a given release.

  5. can you please tell me what are the steps after I download it? shall i disconnect my internet connection and disable the firewall also?

    Reply
    • No – after the download is finished, you shouldn’t need to do that.

On Windows: Just unzip the downloaded file into a new folder, and then run the “Set-up.exe” executable file within that folder to begin the installation. Feel free to remove that folder once the installation has completed.

On macOS: Just double-click on the downloaded .dmg file to mount it on your computer and start the installation process.

  6. Thank you for the direct download links!

I downloaded Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator for windows (64bit) and tried to install them on a freshly-installed Windows 10 64bit 1909.

Illustrator installs without problems, but Photoshop and Indesign Installation stops after a few seconds with error code 103. I tried to install it both, with internet connection and without. Same error.

Do you have any tips how to solve that problem?

Thank you for your answer. The error message was (translated) “Photoshop can’t be installed right now. Error code 103”
I now installed 2018 which works. Thanks anyway.

BY THE WAY: If I use the quote button from your answer, I can’t add my comment. I get an error message from your site because the quote content contains html tags.

You might want to look into that.

  10. Dear ProDesign,
Premiere seems to be an error. When I open it, the buy and start free trial window pops up… whether I choose either, the window just keeps popping up.

    • These direct links go to the authentic and secure files residing on Adobe’s servers, are guaranteed genuine, 100% safe and legal.

They are for both the free trials as well as the full versions, depending on which plan you choose.

In other words, these downloads can be activated for ongoing use without having to reinstall the software.

  11. hello! Thanks for your links. I downloaded Ai, Ps, AE, InD and Premier pro windows 64 bit. When I installed them, they asked me to sign in. I did, and all of them turned out to be the 7-day trial… :( Is it meant to be the trial version? or am I doing something wrong? how can I use it permanently?

I also used the adobe cleaner program from the link you posted on one of your replies here. I chose to erase all. Option no. 1, which is literally to erase everything. I restarted my computer and re-installed the apps, but still, it asks me to sign in, and when I do, It turns to a 7-day trial… :(
