  2. Well I click on Photoshop cs5.1 File 1 and it says

    Access Denied – You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/PHSP/12_1/win32/Photoshop_12_1_LS1.exe” on this server.

  3. Yeah, I’ve tried all that :) I was able to download a CS4 trial from here ages ago, but that doesn’t appear to be working now either. Is there any way of emailing it or something? Thank you

    • Sorry Christina, we can’t copy or redistribute the software for you – it’s not allowed by Adobe… But nothing has changed with any of our direct download links – they still go to the original and authentic trials, and they all continue to work fine on our end.

      Occasionally (but rarely) one of our visitors will get locked out by Adobe’s servers – in which case, the best solution is typically to try again later while following that list of suggestions linked earlier. Good luck!

  4. I am unable to download the current version of Adobe Flash Player because when I try to install, none of my passwords work for installation. I changed my password to my MAC and tried to uninstall the old version of Adobe Flash. However there is no uninstall selection available. I am not an experienced MAC user, however, it has been simple before now to install later versions of other applications. I have tried many of your help suggestions, but entering a password stops me every time. What am I doing wrong?

    • Hey there Wyleta, we’re not entirely sure which software you’re referring to – do you mean the direct links for the Adobe Flash Player? Or do you mean Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5 here on this page?

      In either case, there are no passwords required for running any Adobe programs – so really not sure what you mean there. There are serial numbers when you want to purchase and use a CS6 product permanently, but none is needed for any Adobe trial or for the Flash Player.

  5. I am referring to direct links for the Adobe Flash Player. I have gotten as far as acknowledging Adobe but from there I am asked for user name and password. Do you think that this is a MAC issue? I have an older version of Adobe but when I check there is no option to uninstall it. My video downloads are so slow they drive me crazy. This works occasionally but more often there are the constant interruptions. Can you offer me any other possible explanations for what is happening?

    • Well, if you are asked for a username and password when downloading trials then you just have to create an Adobe ID account (it’s free), or if you already have one, then recover your credentials if you don’t remember them. Outside of that, there is no other possible password involved in their downloads.

  6. I am installing InDesign 5.5. I need this to test a third-party plugin which is not working with my full licensed copy of CS6.

    After following the steps above, I get the below message on the Mac:

    The app’s authorization has been revoked.
    Although this app was signed by an identified developer, the certificate for this app has been revoked. There may be a problem with it. The app cannot be opened.
    You should check on the Mac App Store to see if there is an updated version of this app, or check with the software developer.

    • Yes Shawn, that’s something that has affected components of InDesign CS5 and CS5.5 since last month, in particular the Folio Builder panel and Folio Producer tools… Adobe revoked their certificates as a security precaution.

      However, the issue is easily solved with these new security certificate updates from the company.

  7. I tried to download Adobe After Effects CS 5.5 and after I clicked Run on the pop-up window for the binary file, this is what it said:

    “The file archive part of Adobe After Effects CS 5.5 is missing. You need all the parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe Affect Effects Installer. Please download all parts.”

    What am I doing wrong and how do I fix it?

    • Great question Mike! Oddly, there are no File 2’s for Dreamweaver and some other applications like Flash Pro and Fireworks – for those, the entire install package is contained in a single .exe file.

      Now your next question is why is it done like this… Well we have no idea why Adobe made some downloads with two files and others with only one.

      We wish in the future they would stick to just one (a single .exe or .msi) file like most other manufacturers do it, as that would make our jobs a lot easier.

    • Hey Mike, guessing that you’re using Internet Explorer, which has the tendency to drop the extensions off the filenames… If so, then just rename the files back to what they should be – in other words, add back the “.exe” to make it executable again, and run it as usual.

    The above is the error, and fatal messages I had installing the CS5.5 Creative Suite. What can be done to correct the above?

  9. I followed your instructions EXACTLY and I keep getting an access denied error when I try to download CS5 creative suite for mac. Tried to do this two days ago, and again today. Always the same Access denied message. Please help.

  10. I have a download left for Adobe Design Premium CS5.5, but whenever I click the link in my confirmation email to download it, I am directed to the free trial for CS6. I can’t figure out how to download the CS5.5 (that I already purchased!) when my only option is the CS6 trial version? Please help!

    • Hi Lauren, you should just be able to use the appropriate link above to download your CS5.5 product (following the instructions), and then activate it permanently with your valid purchased serial number.

  11. Hey I followed all the steps and am able to download both files, but I get a message various percentages through the download about the server not being available or not able to complete the download. Any fixes?

    • Hey Corey, no easy fixes to that – except to make sure you are using a strong, fast, wired Internet connection, and give it another shot. It’s not something that normally happens except when folks are trying with Wi-Fi, or a slow or weak network connection.

  12. Yeah that seemed to be the case. My computer would go to sleep and disconnect the connection. When I download though, I use the file that is not the 5gb one?

    • Well, that explains it. Your network connection likely is getting shut down when your system goes to sleep.

      When you download, you use the file or files that are specified above for the product trial you want, on the o/s platform you want, in the language you want. Then once your download is complete, you run (double-click) the .exe executable file.

  13. after trying to download web premium for mac several times (with successful connection and download initiated) it is apparent the file on the server is incomplete. it says it should be 4 gigs but the download has “completed” each time at 2.1 gigs, and does not open. gets a warning: following disk images couldn’t be opened: webPremium_cs5_5_ls1 reason: not recognized. it seems something wrong with the file on adobe’s server.

    is there any alternate solution? new install of o/s on work computer, really need to get the cs5.5 suite back up and running. thanks.

    • Hey zonabi, your download didn’t complete – the English Mac OS version of that CS5.5 suite is 4.6 GB… so there’s no way it will work, or install. Give it another shot, perhaps using a different browser, computer, or Internet connection (not Wi-Fi).

  14. hey, thanks for the response. see, that’s the problem–it did complete. i have downloaded it over 3 times on ethernet, and each time it “completed” but the file was only exactly 2.15 GB each time. exactly the same filesize. that means the file is messed up on the server since its the same completion size yet incomplete. hope that makes sense. what should i do? many thanks

    • Yes, it makes sense – but we just tested that exact file and the entire 4.6GB size downloads just fine on our systems here… There is no problem with the file on Adobe’s server. So really, our best advice is to try the ideas in our prior response.
