Links are down :'(
Hi Luca, just re-tested them and they all continue to work fine on our end… Please make sure you’re carefully following the step-by-step download instructions given in the article above.
If still no luck, try a different browser, computer, or Internet connection… Or see this list of download tips.
Thanks so much for this, I couldn’t find these on the official Adobe site anywhere. Still running Leopard, so I needed this!
Thank you for making these links available to download Adobe CS5.5. I went to the Adobe website, but I saw only CS6, which I don’t need right now. Although I have the DVD to install CS5.5, my notebook doesn’t have a disk drive on it.
You bet gentlemen, glad to help! We get quite a few visitors with cases like yours.
Hi, I am repeating myself but I have deleted my emails regarding my previous question….My daughter has CS4 Design Premium (I think student edition) and she has just bought a new Mac laptop with Lion on it… She has tried to use the disc but for some reason it does not load… She also has a desktop Mac that CS4 is installed on as well… Is there anything she can do to get CS4 onto her laptop? Help please :)
Hello again Dida, please see our previous response on this question regarding compatibility of Mac OS 10.7 “Lion” with Adobe CS2, C3, CS4, and CS5…
What exact error message is she getting? Is it the error, “PowerPC applications not supported” in Photoshop? If so, then please also see this help page.
Hey there, so I am trying to download the cs5.5 design premium and when I click on the link it goes until I have about 30 MB left and then crashes. This happened twice and now it tells me I don’t have permission to view. Any help?
Greetings Dave, please see this list of download suggestions… You may have to wait a little while before Adobe’s servers will allow it again.
I logged in with remember me and then I get this error when trying to download InDesign 5.5 English or Europe:
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/IDSN/7_5/osx10/InDesign_7_5_LS1.dmg?” on this server.

I’m running Mac OS X 10.4.11 browsing with Mozilla 3.6.28.
Does InDesign 5.5 even work on my iMac G5 running Mac OS X 10.4.11?
Hey there, all the links continue to work fine on our end, so make sure you’re following the download instructions and tips given in the article and comments above…
Also, see the CS5.5 System Requirements to ensure your computer meets Adobe’s specifications.
This is a clever workaround. I use InDesign 5.5 at school but have InDesign 5 at home. You’d think they’d be compatible, but they’re not. Thanks for this.
So it’s not compatible. Thanks. I don’t know why I thought they were.
this dmg extension ..”says” this file is invalid….what???// [Creative Suite 6]
You probably got an incomplete or corrupt download… These are large files and that happens sometimes. Try again using a different browser, computer, or Internet connection (something strong and fast, no Wi-Fi).
I am trying to download an .exe file for the Master Collection. I keep getting an “access denied” message. How can I fix this?
Thanks!
Welcome Anthony, make sure you’re carefully following the step-by-step download instructions given in the article above.
Then if still no luck, try a different browser, computer, or Internet connection… Or see this list of helpful suggestions.
I have followed the instructions but when I click “link 1” for CS5.5 Master Collection and execute the file then click “run”, a message pops up that says “the file archive part of Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection. Please download all parts.”
All right, then put both downloaded files – the .exe and the .7z – into the same single folder and then run the .exe (double-click it).
And make sure that folder is on the same disk that you want to install the software to, and you should avoid any issues.
I am trying to download Adobe InDesign CS5. I have tried to follow the instructions completely but whenever I try to click on any of the links above I get the error message: webpage not found, oops! this link appears to be broken…. I tried different browsers, logging in and out of Adobe, and waiting a few hours. any other ideas?
Sorry you’re having trouble Heather… The links work fine here – have you read and tried all the download suggestions as well?
I’m getting access denied message when trying to download CS5.5 photoshop / dreamweaver.
Hello David, please see the download tips linked in the comment just above yours.
Thank you guys for being so helpful when it comes to this website and your downloads. Just wanted to let you guys know that it is greatly appreciated.
You’re very welcome Chrystal, thank you for the kind words and glad to help out!
I keep getting “DesignStandard_CS5_5 invalid checksum” after I click on the Mac Standard CS5.5 file.
CS4 works, but I was hoping for the CS5.5 trial. Anyone else have this?
I’m on Mountain Lion, and I see that’s not in the MSR’s for 5.5, but CS4 downloads and verifies just fine.
Thanks! Great site!
Me again. Never mind. I opened the wrong file: I had downloaded CS5.5 the first time and the computer fell asleep—that one had the above issues. I downloaded again, and that one is fine.
Thanks again!!!!
Larry
Hello! Thank you so much for making these links available.
I just finished downloading CS 5.5 Master Collection for Mac, English LS1.
But when I try to open the .dmg I get a window that says:
Warning
The following disk image couldn’t be recognized
MasterCollection_CS5_5_LS1.dmg | not recognized.
Any thoughts on what’s going on?
Thanks!
Hi Lauren, according to Apple Support Communities, that error message “dmg not recognized” typically indicates a corrupt or incomplete download. See some of the download tips suggested above, but these are large files so most important is probably to use a different (stronger and faster and more reliable) Internet connection (with a cable and not Wi-Fi).
Hi, I’m also experiencing this ‘invalid checksum’ error when trying to download CS5.5 Design Premium trial for Mac. Downloaded it multiple times without any stalls or errors until I try to mount it. I have a very fast and reliable internet connection so I dont think this is my issue :/ (I have tried a wired connection install with the same error)
thanks,
Karl
Hey there Karl, not sure why that would happen as these are the original files on Adobe’s servers and are not corrupted, with many people using them successfully every day – so typically it’s a glitch somewhere else in the transmission process.
Have you tried other files here or the CS6 direct download links to see if you have the same issue?
Hi, for some reason, it’s giving me the “access denied” page, even though I have logged in through Adobe’s website. Is there something I’m missing?
Thanks for the help, and thanks a lot for these links!
Jon
Sure Jon, glad to be of assistance… Just make sure you’re carefully following the step-by-step download instructions given in the article above.
Then if still no luck, try a different browser, computer, or Internet connection… Or see this list of helpful suggestions.
I am having issues downloading the master collection for mac..it is saying i do not have permission. any ideas? Thank you!
Yes Lola, make sure you’re carefully following the instruction given in the article above, and check the comments above for some other tips if you’re still having difficulties.
I have downloaded yesterday the Master Collection CS5.5, but my serial number is not accepted…
Any ideas???
Hard to say Cristina, what is the exact message it gives you?
When and where did you purchase your product? Do you still have the original discs or download from Adobe?
Are you running the software on any other machines, and if so, how many of them?
Oh, forgot to mention… I have a student version… It’s probably because of that…
Where could I find a link for the student version?
Thank you
Actually the downloads for the regular (commercial) and the student & teacher editions are the same. It’s the serial number series which are different, and control how you can use the education versions.
So, that wouldn’t be an issue here – it’s the same download files for all different versions of the software.
Last year I bought a student Master Collection CS5.5 … and it worked fine on my desktop PC. The issue is that I have purchased now an Ultrabook… and as you might know it lacks a disc drive.. so now I can’t install my Master Collections (CDs)…
I suppose I will have to buy myself an external CD drive… But, it really really upsets me!
Adobe should have a better support for existing customers. It is really disappoting..
I appreciate the attention in replying to me =)
It’s absolutely no problem at all Cristina – you don’t actually need to buy an external disc drive…
Just download the Windows version of the CS5.5 Master Collection trial above onto your new Ultrabook laptop, install and run it – and then you’ll be able to activate it permanently with your valid serial number that you purchased earlier.
It will work fine even though your license key is from a box with DVD’s – your SN will also work with the downloaded software here.
Hope this helps!
Hiii,
I tried to use my serial number.. but it doesn’t work.. for this reason I thought it could be because my serial number is student edition.. But since you said it wouldn’t matter..
Maybe is because I also have it installed in other machines??
I have it installed in my desktop PC and in another laptop… but they are never used at the same time… could it be the reason?? I will try deleting the one in my laptop…
Thank you!!!
Yes, that could be it Cristina – you are allowed up to two installations of the product and no more… Follow this guide for changing systems:
