I own the serial number for the master collection but I want to download the CS6 products individually. Will the activation still work even though I download it part by part?
Yes, you should be able to do that John – see the Adobe Trial FAQ for:
What if I tried multiple CS6 products?
Can I convert each trial using a suite edition serial number?
Oh, did they disable those links? Download Assistant sucks… (one time it downloaded Premiere Pro trial CS5.5 instead of CS6…)
These CS6 direct links all continue to work fine Andy, without using the Adobe Download Assistant – just make sure you follow the instructions.
Why access denied all the time ?
Please make sure you are carefully following the download instructions given in the article, and if no luck, then try the suggestions in this list of download tips.
Why it said you do not have permission to access this program…you did not reply to me yesterday. So, I ask the same question again…
Actually, we did reply – just look below your first comment above.
Since I downloaded the products individually, will I be receiving Adobe Prelude as an update? It is not available as a standalone software but I don’t wanna download CS6 as a “pack.” Excuse my overacting but I just don’t like seeing “CS6 Master Collection” in the add or remove programs for it is comprised of varied applications. Thanks.
Regrettably John, at this time Adobe Prelude CS6 is only available for installation as part of a full suite edition – either CS6 Master Collection or CS6 Production Premium. We don’t know whether Adobe would be changing this in the future, but for now you can’t get Prelude as an individual standalone application (either for trial or purchase), or any other way.
As a side note, there is no harm or extra baggage in downloading a suite, and then only installing the applications you want to install/keep from the checklist. And some indispensable components such as Dynamic Link are only available in this way.
Lastly, even if you’ve already installed separate products onto your computer, you can still download and install a CS6 suite edition to selectively add and complement whatever you don’t already have but want.
[UPDATE – Adobe has made a standalone free trial and purchase now available, and so we just added the Prelude CS6 direct download link to the table above – enjoy!]
My MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg has invalid checksum, and i cannot install Illustrator.
I’m downloading using wget -b command in NAS with cookie from adobe.com. Should I redownload? Thats very big file. I’ve finished at 12 hours with my Internet connection.
Sorry about my English…. ;)
Hey there Penyo, here are the official MD5 checksums for that product trial download and a few others… You should compare what you got vs. those numbers, and make sure they match. If not, then you got an incomplete or corrupted download and need to retry (sorry! 12 hours is a long time).
Does the photoshop cs6 direct download file contain photoshop cs6 or photoshop cs6 extended, because i want photoshop cs6 extended.
Yes Aref, Adobe Photoshop trial versions are always the PS Extended edition, and then the extra features will no longer work if you choose to purchase only the Standard edition when the 30-day trial period is up.
I have tried many times to download CS6 Design & Web Prem, but it never fully downloads. It always stops half way. I tried with all Firewalls and Antivirus turned off.
I have tried using the Adobe Download Assistant, but this always gets about 25% downloaded and hangs!
I’ve spent a lot of time with this because I really need to try before I buy.
I am downloading onto an empty 1TB external hard drive. Is that OK?
Any help would be much appreciated.
It sounds like you’re following the instructions and doing the right things Dawn, but maybe your Internet connection isn’t solid enough… can you use another?
Check out this list of download tips for some other suggestions.

Great, can’t download anything through Download ASSistant nor this direct download. I guess 20mbit fiber line
Hello DZ, are you carefully following the instructions? Try the list of tips linked from the reply just above your comment.
I receive an error report when I try to download the master collection files for windows (English)
Access Denied You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/STAM/CS6/win32/MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.exe” on this server.

Even right click > ‘save target as’ doesn’t work.
Ditto for the Western Europe versions. :(
Sorry you’re having difficulty Andy. We just re-tested the direct links above on our end, and they all continue to download fine here, no problems…
Please see this list of pointers if you still have trouble.
Yesterday, I downloaded the Adobe Audition and I canceled my download because my mom unplugged my PC, now I can’t download Adobe Audition – I log in my Adobe account but it says ” Access is Denied ”
Sorry for my bad English, Please answer me …
Well in cases like that, as you found, access to these downloads can “lock up” and you just have to wait a while before you try again… No one knows why this happens, but see the tips mentioned in the comments above for additional suggestions and things to try.
Well……
I’m downloading using FreeNAS machine via wget command and use cookies.txt from adobe.com. First download the .dmg file and corrupt, checksum invalid, trying redownload and it’s done, working fine.
Now, I’m trying Windows version (.7z), and waiting for 12 hours with my Internet connection…. Wkwkwk….
Sorry for my bad English.
Hey hi, just wanted to know what is “File 1”, that I am actually downloading for: Creative Suite Master Collection CS6 for Windows in English.
Hi Ashkins, File 1 is an .exe file – a Windows executable program – that extracts the entire contents of the File 2 archive…
File 2 (where applicable) is a .7z (7-Zip) package containing the installation files for the product, but you only need to run the File 1 .exe to unpack it. You don’t need to otherwise touch or do anything with File 2.
Don’t worry too much about the technicals though – it should be easier to understand, but that’s the way Adobe does it. Just follow the instructions to download and save both files into the same folder on your computer, and then run (double-click) the .exe file to get started.
Looking for Adobe Encore: no trial available:
“Adobe Encore® CS6 is not available as a trial. Encore CS6 will be installed as part of the trial for Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, Creative Suite® 6 Production Premium, and Creative Suite 6 Master Collection but will not be available for use until you purchase.”
For those looking for Premiere Elements 10 as a separate download, here is why not:
“Trial limitations
Due to licenses of various codecs, a watermark is displayed on all videos in the preview window and will be added to all exported files. If you decide to purchase Adobe Premiere Elements 10 after the trial period, the watermarking will be disabled once you enter a valid serial number.”
However, the Photoshop Elements 10 trial is “fully functional and offers every feature of the product for you to test-drive*.”
Is the Premiere Pro / Encore CS6 Extra Content (733 MB) free of WATERMARKS?
Good news for you Caramac – the Adobe Premiere Pro trial does not have any watermarking, even though the Premiere Elements trial does…
To clear up my misstatement, I was glad to see the above link for ELEMENTS 10 that provides the downloads for Photoshop Elements 10 and Premiere Elements 10, both x86 or x64 versions AND an additional 3GB of Added Content – all versions.
I just downloaded 4.5GB via that link.
hola amigo, no puedo descargar – me sale error 101
Hola Rodrigo, usted está siguiendo cuidadosamente las instrucciones en el artículo?
Your direct download instructions do not work with Free Download Manager.
They were followed to the letter from Chrome, Opera, IE9 and Firefox.
Thanks J – haven’t heard that ever reported before, but we’ve tested several non-Adobe download managers and they’ve worked fine.
If you’re having difficulties, we’d suggest trying with another DLM, or just with your browser on its own.
Odd! The downloads are perfect with Chrome. I’d been trying with Firefox initially. Now the second part… I can’t extract the files! Error report says that there’s either insufficient disc space (though I have 290 GB free) or the disc is write protected (even after changing the security settings of C drive, running the exe file as administrator and being logged in as administrator). Tried to extract to an external HDD (650 GB free), but still same error comes up. Also tried extracting with 7zip and winrar, but failed. I’m using Windows 7 Professional and yes, I do have both files in the same folder. When trying to extract to the external HDD, I copied the entire folder, with the two files, to the disc and ran the exe file (both normally as well as admin). Any idea what’s wrong?
Sounds like it could be a corrupt or incomplete download Andy, which sometimes happens with files of these sizes… What is the exact error message you’re getting (to the word and letter)? Try googling that and see where you get.
One last pointer is the download, store the files, extract, and install the programs all to/on the same disk drive.
The exact statement of the error is: “A problem occurred while extracting some files. Check available space in your computer and write privileges on the destination folder”… (That’s for external HDD)… Any idea?
Ah, okay – for that message please see this previous reply to Peg.
hello, it always says, Access Denied, You don’t have permission to access)
and i have an account @ adobe, please help me or give me another direct link for Dreamweaver CS6
thanks
people who are getting access denied can follow my steps:
1. as said in instructions above, follow login to adobe using an id.
2. next, download assistant from the adobe site (of the program you want to install), so that cookies will be placed on your system.
3. later, download from these links.
it’s so simple as we think…!!!!
Thanks Vinay, for checking in… See also this extensive list of download tips.
@ ProDesignTools
1. Make sure the downloaded files are all in the same directory. ->Oh yes, it is.
2. Make sure they’re stored on the same disk drive as where you want to install the product to. For some reason, having them on different disks can trip up Adobe’s installations.-> I did try that at first… When that didn’t work, I used external HDD. Needless to say, that didn’t work either.
3. Do you have administrator privileges to install it? (right-click the .exe file/icon and “Run as Administrator”) -> Tried many times… (changed the security settings of C drive, ran the exe file as administrator and being logged in as administrator)
4. It’s quite possible you got a corrupted or incomplete download. The files are large and that sometimes happens… You can try again and make sure you’re not using a wireless connection for best results.-> Nope, not a wireless connection. And the file size does match, so I guess it’s not an incomplete download. Why does Adobe have to make this so difficult? Was it that hard to zip the files normally and create a resumable download link???
Really, thank you very much. It’s now working
Great, glad to hear it – and thanks for letting us know.
how to fill in the serial number to install?
Hi Mutia, you don’t need a serial number to run the 30-day free trial for any product… Just choose “Start Trial” on the first screen that loads after launching the program. See the Adobe Trial FAQ for more details.
If/when you’re ready to purchase the software, then you can just get a serial number direct from Adobe.
What does it mean when I start to install CS6 Production Premium and it gets to about 2% and then says: insert AdobeProductionPremium6-mul cd. I can’t seem to get past this error message. TY :)
Sorry Sal, we’ve never heard of that message before and there’s absolutely nothing on Adobe’s site or anywhere on the web about it… Are you sure your download is complete and intact? Did you use a strong and fast Internet connection for getting it (no Wi-Fi)?
