I don’t seem to be able to access your free books. please advise.
Hi Larry, which book were you talking about exactly? And what problem or issue did you have? Did you receive any error or other message? It’s hard to help without more details.
Did you try with a different web browser – or using another computer or device? That’s really the first thing to check.
Also, are you blocking or filtering anything with your browser(s) – like cookies, downloads, or any sites or URLs? Adobe recommends turning those things off…
Or are you running any utilities that might restrict your web surfing – like Ghostery, AdBlock, or Disconnect? Or possibly your firewall, antivirus program (esp. Kaspersky), or other third-party security software? It could be because of over-aggressive software or utilities like these. Again, for downloads, Adobe suggests temporarily turning off anything that might be interfering.
An alternative would be to try downloading the book PDF’s for mobile usage and reading with a tablet/iPad or smartphone/iPhone… That would avoid any issues with the desktop and then you could then share the books back to your computer using Dropbox, Box, or Creative Cloud online storage.
Hope that helps!
Hi, Could you clarify a matter for me?
Like many using older iMacs, I want to install Adobe Photoshop elements. On your website you offer the link to download an Elements trial version that I think lasts for 30 days.
However what happens after that – will I be able secure a permanent version, or is that it?
Thanks
Billy
Greetings Billy,
Regarding downloading prior versions of Elements, the note at the top of that page indicates that Adobe is discontinuing public direct download links for older software. Instead, you can now download Elements installers here through their website. For more details and complete information, see our new explainer post here.
All Elements downloads are free trials. After any Elements trial expires, it will no longer start or run on that computer without entering a valid purchased serial number.
But importantly, Adobe only sells the latest release of Elements (currently version 2026)… It is impossible to buy any other version of Elements from Adobe’s site. Sorry if that leaves your system unsupported.
Hope that helps answer your question.
Hi. I just cancelled my Adobe Creative Cloud ‘all apps’ subscription because it was too expensive (over a 1000.00 $ canadian). Even though I had been a subscriber for several years. They didn’t lower their price.
I was wondering if there was a way to subscribe again but at a lower or more affordable price. I understand that the tools are professional-level tools used by content creators.
Thanks for reading.
Hey Frankie, here are a few options:
1. If you are a student or teacher – or could become one – see how to qualify for the major education discount here.
2. Adobe is running a new offer whereby you can save 50% on your first three months of Creative Cloud. Perhaps you can see if that works?
3. If you pay for a full year in advance, then Adobe’s plans cost significantly less. See how to pay less here.
4. If you don’t use all the apps and maybe just a few of them, perhaps the Photography plan and/or Single-App plans could reduce your cost.
5. If you can wait until November, there’s always a great deal offered on Creative Cloud for Black Friday / Cyber Monday.
6. Check out Adobe’s other current specials here.
7. If all else fails, did you contact Adobe Customer Care and see if they are able to reduce the price for you at all?
Hope that helps!
