   • Hi Ashish, that’s unusual. Did you try googling the exact text of the error message? Often that can lead to a solution.

     You could also give these suggestions a shot, from the Adobe Forums:

     How to Fix Error Code 41 When Installing Adobe Creative Cloud?

     If all else fails, you can try this:

     1. Uninstall the Adobe app(s) using standard OS procedures.
     2. Download & run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, remove the app(s).
     3. Reboot your computer (don’t skip this step).
     4. Start again from the top by reinstalling the Creative Cloud tool(s) you want.
     5. Make sure you are running the installer with full Administrator rights on your machine.

2. Hi there,

   The Adobe help center didn’t help me to get me a download link to CC2020. I pay for creative Cloud but I run MacOS High Sierra on a 2011 MacBook Pro. Have you any other solutions?

   • Hello Rasmus,

     Unfortunately, it’s completely out of our control. Adobe has a “N-1” Support Policy, which means they will only offer and support the current major release and the one prior.

     So technically, now, that would mean CC 2025 and CC 2024.

     We think Adobe should really still be giving out CC 2020 installers because many subscribers do need them, if for some reason you can’t run the latest CC release – for example, like when you have a somewhat older computer or operating system. The company could still provide these versions, but just disavow any and all official support.

     This is up to Adobe though, not us. So there’s nothing we can do, sorry!

   • Sorry, not sure what you’re referring to… No genuine Adobe offline installer ever has any password.

     If you are asked for one, then it must be from an illegal file you downloaded elsewhere, which we absolutely do not recommend:

5. Doesn’t work. In teams, the versions don’t go back far enough. Using the live support doesn’t work as well – as the lowest version they can go back to is 22.2.

     Adobe is discontinuing public direct download links for older software.

     Instead, you can get the latest Creative Cloud installers here or the previous CC release here.

8. Wow, so that’s it – it’s impossible to get a installer for any versions lower than 2025?

   • We have asked if Adobe would reconsider, because the official technical requirements for Creative Cloud evolve quickly (especially on Mac) and there are paying customers who have older computers or operating systems and cannot use the absolute latest CC releases.

     In that case, the only alternatives then are to buy a new computer or to cancel the subscription. Not everyone can afford the former, so we think Adobe would not prefer the latter.
