Darn, when I try this it says ‘sign in to resume your trial download’ even though i am already signed in. It says “hello nancy” on the top of the adobe site, even when I get this sign in error msg. Do you think I am doing something wrong?

Hello lala – if you mean “free” in the sense of downloadable free trials, you’ve come to the right place. If you mean “free” as in to have someone else’s product forever without paying for it, sorry we can’t help you.
By the way, if you’re considering downloading this software from anywhere else other than direct from Adobe’s servers, please be very careful.

I tried to download adobe premiere pro cs4 trials but not succeeded by directly clicking on the links or using right click & save as. Is their any direct file download link without going to adobe.com site for login.
Greetings Akash – all downloads here go via Adobe servers and require the login, and we wouldn’t do it any other way… It should work because hundreds of visitors are downloading the Premiere Pro CS4 and After Effects CS4 trials successfully here every day. Just be sure to follow the instructions above, and if you’re still having trouble, read through some of the comments to see how others have resolved any difficulties.
Would strongly suggest you avoid downloading from anywhere else other than from Adobe servers, as there is a lot of hacked Adobe software out there with trojan horses built in. It’s really quite dangerous to install random software onto your valued computer that comes from some source you don’t know or don’t trust, and typically you won’t discover the problem until your system has already been infected.
hi, i cant seem to get the windows creative suite 4 web premium (english) ‘file 2’ to work? any help would be appreciated, thanks
Hi Andy, we’d be happy to help but would need more details on the issue you have. Would suggest reviewing the instructions and comments above, where most everybody has been able to download the CS4 trials. I posted a comment a while ago because it was saying “the licensing for this product has expired”. I was shown an Adobe help page, and it worked fine for a couple of weeks, but now it is not working. Any help?

These are actually the Adobe CS4 trial downloads, not the full product – so it’s natural, normal, and expected that they will stop working after a few weeks (30 days to be exact)…

Hi Nick, sorry you’re having some trouble. Have you read the product installation instructions?
Which product are you trying to install? Are you on a Mac or a PC? If the latter, are you trying to open the .exe file or the .7z file? (You shouldn’t touch the .7z file; just open the .exe file, and it should take care of everything)
If you’re following all the installation instructions and trying to run the proper file but it gives that message, your computer may not be configured properly (which would be beyond the scope of what we can do to help). Thanks.
I’ve done this before, and I got it to work perfectly, and then I had to do a system recovery from factory settings. I tried to do this again, and my laptop overheated and shut down during the download, now whenever I try to download this again, it says I need to sign and resume my download, but I’m already signed in and can’t resume the download. Help please.

Hi, I downloaded After Effects CS4 the English version the installer work, but when it came to install the actual setup thing it said “This product does not support PowerPC architecture CPU. Please upgrade or adjust your CPU to meet these requirements.” What does this mean? Sorry, if someone already asked this.

So you may be out of luck with After Effects CS4, but you should be able to download and run the trial of AE CS3, if that helps.

I got it to work finally! All i had to do was have the Adobe Lightroom 3 Trial download page open in another tab, and then the download worked! I LOVE PRODESIGNTOOLS :)

hi there am anold and am currently downloading Adobe After Effects CS5 using akamai download manager. the file is about 988MB. my worry is that it is an LS7.7z file and i dont know if i will be able to open it or what can i use to open? anyone?

I have installed Adobe After Effects and added a serial code and it accepted it so started the download.
But after the install, I try to access Adobe After Effects, but it says ;
“Licensing has expired for this product.”
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi John, did you purchase the product and was it from a reputable vendor such as Adobe – in other words, are you certain you have an authentic serial number?

Hey there Jamie, we offer the trial links here but where did you purchase the product – was it a shrinkwrapped box from a reputable and trusted vendor? In other words, are you certain you have authentic software with a genuine serial number?
There’s a lot of bad software out there, with hidden malware and/or bogus license keys… Buying direct from Adobe is always the safest option – but Adobe doesn’t sell the older versions any more (except for buying After Effects CS4 and Premiere Pro CS4), so you have to be especially careful with them.
If you have a valid purchased product, then your best option for problems like that is http://www.AdobeAssistance.com/

Hi Andrew, you’re very welcome and thank you for the kind words. Everything on this page is linking to software that is directly resident on Adobe’s servers, which has been there for two or more years and downloaded successfully by countless users.
So if you are having issues with a corrupted file, the problem probably lies somewhere else… The best advice to solve it: avoid Wi-Fi, and try a different browser, computer, and/or internet connection. Hope this helps.
PS – You might also find these useful: the MD5 checksums for AE CS4 and PP CS4 to verify your files are correct.
Argh!!! When I click the After Effects CS4 download it shows a file and not a trial! IDK how to download the trial!!!!! DX

Hi, When I right-click on Adobe Photoshop CS4 File 1 (or any other file listed above) and click “Save Link As,” it tries to save the file as a .htm file and not a .exe file. Moreover, I tried to view the instructions but it appears that the link is broken. Would you be able to help me resolve this issue?
Hello Alicia, please make sure you’re not blocking any cookies or sites. You can right-click on the links, or you can try directly clicking on them to see if that works. If no luck, try a different browser, computer, and/or internet connection. Thanks.
hi I downloaded it in chrome, but when it said 846 MB out of 846 MB, I clicked on the arrow to see on what file that it had been downloading the icon disappeared, and when im going to install it with with the first file, it said error and something there

Hi, I’ve tried twice to download the Photoshop CS4 trial, and every time it gives me an error message that the file source is not valid. Your instructions work perfectly, and the download begins, but always with the error message. I’m trying to download the Master Collection now, which is going to take an hour and a half, so we’ll see if it’s time wasted or not. Any suggestions?
Hi Tiffany, thanks for your query but unfortunately we have never seen or heard of that error message before… If you have the exact text of the message you can try googling it to see what turns up.
Oh, and I’m choosing “file 1” for mac, by the way.

I download CS4 I followed the instructions now I have a total of 4 files of which has the .exe at the end. What do I need to do…any help would be grateful.
Yssis, not sure which product(s) or platform you have, but if you follow the installation instructions you should be able to make progress. Only run the .exe files, and don’t touch the .7z files. Thanks and good luck.
