I will push it to its limits :)
I’m using CS5.5 MC right now!
I use Photoshop about half my work day. Looking forward to CS6 Photoshop!
I would use it to learn a lot more as a student and create, create, create! Also I will use it to help my mom on a special project that she wants us to do together to help us have bonding in our relationship. See Adobe, you DO help family come together too. :)
I would continue to strive to improve the functionality of my web site.
I would use Adobe to build a better website on my new business
I will hug the box for 10 minutes, than open it, install it and start making my twisted ideas real and colorful :)
Indulge my passions for design and progress! I can’t wait to check out the new features! ADOBE FOREVER!
I would use it to make myself more marketable – more current skills, more job opportunities!
I would use this to become that girl in “Girls” who gets hired from her internship because she knows how to use Photoshop. The economy’s tough.
Great idea – but please be sure to post back and leave your name and email address next time so we can enter you into the contest!
I would use this amazing suite of applications to design a website to showcase my photographic portfolio, as well as improving my skills in the resoration of old photos in the family archive that I’m creating for my children and grandchildren.
I would use CS6 to further develop my skills —- self taught graphic designer — and hopefully get some more freelance business to support my family. I work free lance since I have become disabled and cannot hold down a regular job. Small jobs are good for me, but if I can find new, quicker ways of doing things, then maybe I can work on larger jobs!
With CS6 I could finish web design school with some extra style!
Well, I’m fairly young and am looking toward a career in the CG industry, so I would use the package to composite stills in Photoshop, composite films in After Effects, use Premiere Pro to put together demo reels, use Audition to create a killer sound mix for those reels, and so on and so on.
But, moreover, I really wanted to thanks ProDesignTools for doing this giveaway. I mean, I know it’s primarily advantageous to the site because it gets 2000+ people tweeting and sharing the site, but it’s also really cool to offer some lucky person the opportunity to get the software of their dreams and really let he or she put his or herself out there.
Thank you for your kind words Luke and for sharing your thoughts – it’s really exciting and energizing to see all the of the amazing plans our readers have, and we hope everyone (especially the winner :) does big things with their software! And a big thanks also go out to our friends at Adobe for seeing the giveaway launched here and then generously stepping in to sponsor the CS6 prize.
I would use it to improve my ActionScript skills
Create stunning memories
I plan to work with the youth at our church, teaching them how to design, and create beautiful marketing tools for the church. These are skills they can then take and build a professional career.
It will be a great start for a new business I want to start.
I’ll keep on retouching images and probably enjoy it even more. I’ve been on the CS6 beta release these past few days and I just can’t wait for the final release – CS5 already seems dated. :)
What wouldn’t I use it for is the better question. Last year my external hard drive fell and I lost everything, including my CS4 Master Collection. I still have the programs showing but can’t uninstall because all the pieces aren’t there. I was teaching myself elearning, graphic design and photography through Lynda.com and the Adobe videos, but all of that had to stop. I even got a DSLR camera for my birthday last year and am using a pre-installed program for editing. I’ve played in Premiere and would love to learn more about it as well. AND I’m in a learning job where I will soon be tasked with creating more CBT and online training. I’d love to build my skills in Adobe Captivate and Flash. I have friends that are learning technology and I am constantly amazed by what they produce. I would like to have the tools to create great masterpieces.
Sorry to hear about the problems with your system Alicia – but fear not, you should just be able to run the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove and clear everything off your computer, then start over with a reinstallation! Really hope that helps.
I will do amazing things!
I will make awesome!
I’ll use it to fix up documents and reports and make them look a bit nicer.
Feed my family. Since I’m not sure how to make cardboard and DVDs palatable, I guess I’ll have to resort to using the software to make money. I’ll buy food with the money. Yes. That sounds more reasonable and less insane.
LOL – good choice Carrie!
I would use it to improve my web development skills, providing responsive, compliant web sites for small to medium businesses.
