The latest version of Photoshop I have owned was Photoshop 7.0. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the funds needed to purchase a newer version, and the 7.0 version quit working some time ago. I used to be quite active on Deviantart.com and felt like i was just beginning to understand the world of Photoshop, but after the 7.0 quit on me, my photography just kind of fell by the wayside.
My camera now sits in a box and collects dust–it would be so great to win this contest and start using my camera again and reawaken my creative side. Winning CS6 or Lightroom 4 would make this possible for me, and make my entire year. It would be fantastic!
CS6 will take me to new possibilities in composing pictures.
Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom will allow me to finally come out of my shell and offer my talents to the world. I have recently purchased a DSLR and would really like to have professional tools to showcase my work.

For years I have enjoyed taking photos for people, nature, and small businesses. My photos are satisfying to me, but I always have that thought in my mind “This could definitely use enhancement.” So I went to the Apple store to try and buy the program. After looking at the price, I instantly went out of the store. Being a poor college student, I can’t be spending much on an something.
I am not a business man, I am not an aspiring lawyer or doctor. I want to see people smile when they see my photography in art galleries, and possibly inspire at least one person in my life with my photos. I am not looking to make it big in life. Simple things like seeing a family photo I took in my friend’s parent’s house makes me feel like I have done something good.
So where will photoshop CS6 and lightroom 4 take me? To be honest, I don’t know…but I do know it will take me somewhere I can be free to express my vision.
