So… I have to wait for 5 hours.. Challenge Accepted.
Question! Do I have to download the two Extra Content files for CS4?
Hi Andrea, the Additional Content packages are not required (they’re optional) but are nice to install if you want to, and have the time and bandwidth.
Hi, this site is brilliant for free trials but how do I get the full serial number version? I require a upgrade from CS2 to CS3 Design Standard. When I click on the link to upgrade Adobe directs me to CS6.
Thanks in advance!
J
Hey there J, why would you want to upgrade (only) from CS2 to CS3? Something like that would be really hard to find, for a safe and legitimate product… You can still buy some older versions direct from Adobe but not that far back. And we strongly advise against trying on places like eBay etc.
You can check the list of authorized Adobe resellers, but inventory is likely to be quite scarce for the exact version you mention.
Bottom line, you’re better off upgrading to a newer version – you’ll get more for your money, it’s easier to find, and certain to be genuine.
I’m trying to download CS3 to my slate and it keeps giving me this message:
HTTP ERROR: 404 /support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
RequestURI=/support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
I already own CS3 and just want to download it to my new slate.
Welcome Amelia, please make sure you are carefully following the download instructions given in the article.
If still no luck, try a different browser, computer, and/or Internet connection and see if that helps.
Or read Kate’s earlier comments, the things she tried, and the series of replies which follow – and hopefully that will get you going.
thank you
Hi, I downloaded the Illustrator CS4 but it doesn’t open as trial as the software itself asking me for a serial number, do you know how to get the trial version ? thanks !
Hello Renee, if you’ve never run that trial before then there should be an option when you start it that looks like this:
“I want to install and use Adobe Illustrator CS4 on a trial basis.”
Then each time you launch the program it will tell you how many days you have remaining in the 30-day trial period.
hi. i’m trying to download either the cs4 master collection for mac, or photoshop cs4, but keep getting an error message that says, “file doesn’t exist.”
any suggestions on how to get those files?
thanks.
– rich
No, not sure why Rich – never heard of that error before here… Make sure you’re carefully following the instructions in the article and not running anything that could interfere with the downloads.
@ProDesignTools
Thanks, maybe one day there has already been a trial version of CS4 installed on this computer and then erased. I tried with CS3 and it worked! Thanks
@ ProDesignTools
thanks. i’ve downloaded these free trials previously, and this time i forgot about logging into adobe.
all is working.
thanks again.
Hi, I can’t seem to find any Photoshop Extended version only Photoshop one, not even in Master suite.
I am looking for Photoshop CS4 or CS3 Extended trial version since my Mac can’t handle the latest one.
Greetings Alex, all of Adobe’s Photoshop trials are actually the Extended version, including those here…
If you don’t see the Photoshop Extended features when you start the program, it’s perhaps because your system can’t handle them (graphics card, driver, operating system, etc). At a minimum, make sure those are all up to date.
Thank you.
Thank you for this great resource.
FYI: The Dreamweaver, Web Premium and Web Standard links lead to a 404 page.
Thanks azc, but they continue to all work fine from our end… Please make sure you are carefully following the download instructions in the article.
CS4 Design Premium link is broken
Hi Zepp, please carefully follow the instructions in the article – thanks.
Hi, i was downloading cs3 master collection, I downloaded file 1 fine, started downloading file 2 fine, said it took 3 hours but i needed to restart my comp, so after about 10 mins into the download i canceled it. Restarted the comp, did what i needed to and came back onto here and clicked on download again for file 2, now i just keep getting that HTTP ERROR: 404 /support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
RequestURI=/support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp.
I have enabled cookies, turned firewall off, done everything, but it’s still not working. Can you only download it once or something?
Hey there Bella, Adobe’s servers are a bit temperamental and will sometimes block you out if there are too many attempts. Try waiting a while, try a different browser or computer, try again later. Visitors do occasionally get that message, and obviously the links do work as you found, but the problem will eventually resolve itself if you are patient and let enough time pass, then follow the download instructions again from the top.
Thanks for the files. I need to rebuild my computer and I have CS3-CS5.5 for work. This makes reinstalling much easier.
Do you have a trial link for Adobe Captivate 4? I have a client that still uses it.
Yes Jeff, we sure do. Here are the direct download links for Captivate 6, and the same for Captivate versions 5.5, 5, and 4.
All direct links are for the free 30-day trials downloaded direct from Adobe’s servers.
Please help, I think I am in trouble. Two weeks ago after researching a lot of reviews on the Canon FX100 HD camera, I bought one. It was only after that I discovered that I could not edit the video on programmes such as Avid Studio 10 and other low cost programmes. I then found that I had to go for something like Adobe Premiere Pro. As an educationalist I found the price acceptable but wanted to use the 30-day trial. It was as well I did because I then found I could not download it because my computer is 32-bit PC on Windows XP. I am prepared to upgrade the computer because I want to make a lot of training films but what specification? My usual Computer Techie is afraid to recommend anything in case I spend a lot of money and it does not run. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Following my last message asking for advice on an appropriate computer I sent the spec that was included on an Adobe site to my technical advisor and this is her response:
Hi David
It’s a bit vague because they are listing Core2 Duo or AMD Phenom and then saying Intel i7 Processors if you want to run SpeedGrade.
In the help Forums they are advising Quadro Video Cards as the way to go. Many of the Graphic cards in the lower end of the ones recommended by Adobe seem to be obsolete.
They are saying in one sentence to use a DVD read-writer but then they mention using Blu-Ray.
I also just noticed the Sound card requirement, which if not correct will cause regular crashes.
I had a look on the Dell website last night but there are no options for Graphics cards!?!
Anyone who can point me in the right direction will be a friend for life!
Hi David, regrettably we do not really give hardware advice because it changes too fast, but just point people to Adobe’s CS6 system requirements for recommendations… What computer you get depends on whether you are buying Premiere Pro CS6 standalone or as part of the CS6 Production Premium suite. Others may have other advice, but most modern well-equipped systems will be able to run these programs provided you exceed the minimum specs Adobe gives.
Nooo why isn’t it working?? It just keeps showing this…
HTTP ERROR: 404 /support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp
Ooops… sorry… already covered, haha :)
Hey, I can’t download anything from here :(
I use Firefox and I am logged in with my Adobe ID when I click the link, but then the site tells me at the right top I am logged in but at the left it tells me I have to log in. Would be nice if you could help me :)
Thanks
Malte
Sorry Malte, that’s not our fault but rather an occasional peculiarity of Adobe servers – are you sure you’ve carefully followed the download instructions in the article, and have you tried a different browser, computer, and/or Internet connection?
Thanks. I guess I am nervous because many years ago in a previous lifetime when video editing software below pro level was so noddy that unless you had a system with exactly the right graphic cards and everything it crashed all over the place and I did not want to go there any more. Hopefully now that I am straying into the professional product world and years having passed, things will be different. I am keeping my fingers well crossed. Adobe Premiere Pro here I come once I get the computer, hopefully this week!
Hi, when I click on either of the files to download CS4 trial I just get invalid URL, what do I need to do?? Thank you!
Hey there Marc – please see the previous response, thanks.
hey i managed to download flash cs3, both links worked perfectly and i think i got the program, but it keeps telling me it doesn’t know which program to open the file with. is there a program i should have in order to install?
Welcome TJ, please see this previous comment and reply on that – thanks.
Ref my previous two messages. I bought a 64bit computer, and the CS6 version of Premiere Pro downloaded and runs perfectly – so problem over, thanks
Great David, no worries as we thought – glad to hear it and thanks for letting us know!
