Adobe released CC 2016 today. Where are the links on your website? You’re usually Johnny on the Spot!!!
Thank you everyone for your requests. Here is the reason why we have not yet posted the direct download links for the latest CC product updates and upgrades – and unless this changes, will not be able to:
Adobe Ships CC 2015.5 Release – But Stops Direct Download Links?
Please take a moment to read, and help out if you could!
So I downloaded the installation for Adobe Premiere CC 2015, but in able for me to unzip it, it says that I need a password. I was trying to look through the comments to see if anyone else had that issue but I guess not.
Audition worked fine. I don’t know what the issue is. Should I redownload it?
Not sure Joshua, we’ve never heard that before. What is the exact text of the message you got? You could definitely try redownloading it in any event.
It seems like these links are no longer valid – it gives me an Access Denied error. A bit of a pain since I’m about to install 2 PCs and would prefer not to have to download it twice!
Hi Martin,
All of the original CC 2015 direct links here work fine – but you have to make sure to follow the important download instructions first, which are given near the top of this page. Following those is required by Adobe’s servers (before clicking on the links), otherwise you will get that exact “denied” message instead.
If you have any further difficulties, then you might want to try with a different web browser or another computer – while still following those same directions.
Also, make sure you’re not blocking or filtering anything with your browser(s) – like cookies, downloads, or any sites or URLs – or running utilities like Ghostery, AdBlock, or Disconnect. Or it could be your firewall, antivirus program (esp. Kaspersky), or other third-party security software. Adobe recommends turning those things off temporarily.
Finally, we put together this list of download tips if you are really stuck for some reason.
Thanks for the fix for Bridge CC not launching on Mac OS X 10.11.5. Adobe was no help, but you saved the day.
Sure Joe, glad to help – and you are most welcome!
Hello again, hope you are well.
Sorry to hear about all of this
Will the above links stay available for older versions or will you be taking them down?
Best regards
Dremo
Welcome back Dremo, good to see you again. We are not taking anything down – and as far as we know, Adobe isn’t either! So you should probably expect that all these existing links will remain active and available.
And there is some good news. We were contacted yesterday evening by an Adobe Product Manager who says the company is aware of the situation and hoping to find a solution to restore direct download links and standalone installers for all tools in the new release! So we’re happy to report they are listening to customers and hearing your feedback.
It looks like there is some progress made with Photoshop, but we are still waiting for cohesiveness in how the ESD packages are handled, including providing standard installers for all the other CC applications. Another point is that for some reason the CC Desktop App won’t completely recognize when the new install is performed outside of it. So both we and Adobe are investigating and pursuing these issues further.
So you might want to hold off on using that for the moment, until Adobe learns more about why the direct link install isn’t working 100% perfectly (and fixes it)… Also to pull in all the other CC tools.
Please stay tuned to this space where we will keep you updated in the coming days, or however long it takes!
I already installed the “Adobe 2015.5 Apps” !!
But, wouldn’t Adobe release the “Creative Cloud 2016 Desktop Apps” in this year?
Yes Amiya, it’s a mystery to many people why they are calling this release CC 2015.5 (or 2015.x) when it comes in the middle of 2016, and when Adobe has a long history of launching major new releases in the May/June timeframe (going back through CC to CS)…
However, here is our speculation about CC 2016.
Good Morning! I just tried to download prior versions of InDesign and Photoshop and received this error message:
Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/PHSP/16/osx10/Photoshop_16_LS20.dmg” on this server.
Reference #18.94ff3bd0.1466695995.e569801
Hey there Corinne – as noted in the post above, you need to follow these download directions first in order to access those direct links, otherwise you’ll get that exact message coming from Adobe’s servers instead.
@ProDesignTools
Thanks!! I thought I had followed them correctly, but apparently I must have missed something as it didn’t work for me. Will try again later.
On a side note, I work in large print production environment and the few of those who successfully downloaded Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign are finding serious problems when opening older art files, such as missing elements, ungrouping elements causing them to just disappear, and items that may have been off the artboards are totally missing. We definitely need to get their older versions of CC 2015 back installed on their machines. The new versions are causing a production nightmare
@ProDesignTools
Hey, I’ve noticed that there are already direct downloads of Photoshop CC 2015.5 kicking around, and even found a link to their official website for one. It’s just that it’s a little bit buried. It isn’t an update file though. It’s to do a completely new install (1.1Gb). I don’t think I’m allowed to post links on here, but if one of the admins wants me to send them the link, just e-mail me. Cheers :)
Thanks, yes – it’s only Photoshop so far, and there are some caveats that Adobe is working on. We are still waiting for cohesiveness in how the ESD packages are handled, including providing standard installers for all the other CC applications.
Another point is that for some reason the CC Desktop App won’t completely recognize when the new install is performed outside of it. So both we and Adobe are investigating and pursuing these issues further.

We are following the situation very closely – so more as we know it… But this is an encouraging sign to hopefully a forthcoming complete solution!

This page opens, but the download is not starting.
Sorry Amiya, we just tested it and have no problems with it – everything works fine and the download begins.
@ProDesignTools
Thanks for the feedback. Really appreciate all your efforts
Cheers for now.

@ProDesignTools
Thank you!!!
I was able to get Dreamweaver Cc installed.
What is the process to recover from the access denied problem..? i have read the instruction mannual, but how do i have to do all of these…. Please help me… It has became a very popular problem…. pls show us the complete solution
Hello Ovi, the one and only complete solution is to follow the download instructions above very carefully, step-by-step…
This is required by Adobe’s servers, before clicking on any of the CC direct links. If you don’t, then the links simply won’t work – and you’ll get a “denied” message instead. That’s it.
I have downloaded photoshop cc,
i followed your instructions, but it was showing the trial version.
Yes, that is correct. It will show the trial version until you purchase a CC plan… Also note that the free trial recently changed to 7 days.
Question: one of my coworkers works on projects at home with a smaller laptop screen (13 inches, I believe) and with the new update of InDesign, there’s no obvious “extend this menu” button anymore. Did they move this feature or take it out?
The nitty-gritty: my coworker used to be able to see the “Fill Frame Proportionally” button and now it’s vanished since her screen is too small. (She’s been doing a workaround by right clicking on the image and accessing the Fitting Menu from there.)
@Joshua B Alexander
I have downloaded this twice in two weeks and never knew of any password.
Clear your browser cache and try again.

Hi. Can I use Media Encoder CC with Premiere Pro CS6? I don’t see any standalone Media Encoder CS6 download link here, which I think is included in CS6 Production Prem or CS6 Master Collection Suite, but I don’t want to download the whole suite just to get the Media Encoder. Thanks.
Greetings Papoy, prior to CC the Adobe Media Encoder was not a separate download but rather bundled in with any video product that uses it – like Premiere Pro or After Effects (or one of the suites that included those programs)…
So all you’d have to do for the CS6 version of AME would be to download one of those older versions of the primary tools.
On your other question, you should probably stick with matched sets if possible, although in general there is some level of compatibility between CC vs. CS6.
Não consigo fazer o download min aparece um erro dizendo que não tenho permição para fazer o download amigo pfv min ajude
Hi Alex – as noted in the article above, you need to follow these download directions first in order to access the direct links, otherwise you’ll get a permissions or access denied message coming from Adobe’s servers instead.
do u need a serial number for the cc downloads?
No, not necessarily. If you don’t have a CC subscription yet, then you can still download & install all of the tools here and they will run fully-functional on your computer for 7 days (or possibly longer).
hi,
thanks for the quick response :)
my friend paid someone to put cs6 products… he doesn’t need to pay monthly, how is that possible?
can i do that and pay just for e.g $1,000 i will get it and is there a way i can copy the program from his computer?
No, that’s a really bad (and dangerous) idea…
And no, Adobe software cannot be copied/shared between two different users‘ computers. Sorry.
Adobe Photoshop Windows Installer says ” Access Denied ” ……Plz Help ………….What Next….
Hello Usman – as noted in the article above, you need to follow these download directions first in order to access the direct links, otherwise you’ll get that permissions or access denied message coming from Adobe’s servers instead.
“Adobe Photoshop Windows Installer says ‘Access Denied'” – I am also getting this even after i logged in to adobe and followed the “critical step”. I believe ADOBE closed this, like they closed the new updates 2015.5 CC and beyond.
This is what i get :
I logged in to ADOBE–>I follow the procedures to download Photoshop Elements–>click Download.
When i clicked download usually a popup window opens “Thank you for downloading” & download begins in Browser/Download manager.
But instead of this, When i tried it today there was a little change in the popup Window, the file (Photoshop Elements) is downloaded through the popup window. But it can be seen in downloads of the browser, & can be downloaded using the Download manager.
What i think the impact of this change is that, the cookie has been set in that popup window instead of the main browser. This may lead us to download only the file we have access to.
This may be the reason. i am no expert. But i think this may be the reason.
Hope you can help us.
Thanks for your thoughts Yed, and sorry you’re having difficulties. But actually, a cookie that is set in any window of a browser is a cookie that is set in all windows of a browser – there is no distinction or separation by window.
We just tested the download instructions above using a fresh browser window, and everything still works perfectly for us. No problems at all, and no changes. And we have received no other reports of any issues.
So, did you try with a different browser app, or from another computer? That would be our first recommendation. Either that, or clear your browser’s cache and cookies and retry (sometimes those can get messed up).
Hope that helps!
