Dear Webmaster
I’m living in Germany. I did find your website through other adobe forum messages. Unfortunately, all your links to older versions than CS6 don’t work any more. Instead you will be redirected or you get shown only CS6 download links.
Is this a problem, because I’m not inside the USA with an US IP?
Thank you for your reply.
Kind regards
Thomas
Hi Thomas,
Good news – that symptom doesn’t have anything to do with your location or country or geography (Europe or elsewhere)… You just have to make sure you’re carefully following the step-by-step download directions given on our pages for the direct download you want, and you should be fine – and will receive that version.
Then if you have any difficulties, try a different web browser, computer, or Internet connection (avoid Wi-Fi). We also put together a list of download tips, if you get stuck.
Dear ProDesign
Thank you for your fast reply.
I found the error of my action.
Now I was able to download the required files again.
Thank you again and have a great day.
Sure, you bet Thomas – happy to hear you got it working, and glad to help!
I have downloaded the Windows version. When I click on any of the files nothing happens.
Ideas.
I found this site via the adobe forums as someone suggested I come here to find the CS6 Master Collection download link for Windows, but I can’t find it here.
I had the CS6 Master Collection on my last laptop ‘which was broken by bestbuy geek squad’ and now I have a new laptop to install it on. I just need the download link, as my serial no. will not work when I try to download the individual packages.
Can anyone here help me find the Windows link for CS6 Master Collection?
duhhh stupid me, found it, just had to get my glasses and read a bit closer. I deserve that after working all night then trying to do this with no sleep.
I keep getting this response when trying to download from internet explorer and google chrome? any idea why? thank you.
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/DSST/CS6/win32/DesignWebPremium_CS6_LS16.exe” on this server.

I’m not able to download CS6 Design Standard. Is it discontinued?
@ S Malik:
No, not at all. It’s definitely still available and the download works fine for us… Are you carefully following the directions given in the article, or this list of suggestions?
@ Joanie and JB:
Ditto.
I have followed the instructions. I was able to download Acrobat XI Pro and Photoshop CS6.
Great – glad you got it going, and thanks for letting us know.
But I still can’t download CS6 Design Standard!
Hmm, perhaps there’s some issue with larger file sizes on your machine? (Design Standard is 3.5 GB – 6.3 GB, depending on the platform and language set.)
Can’t think of any other reason; it all works fine on our end.
I have Norton Internet Security on my system. I turned off the Norton firewall & anti-virus before I started downloading the CS6 Design Standard files. I was able to download both the files.
DesignStandard_CS6_LS16.exe
Size: 1016 KB
DesignStandard_CS6_LS16.7z
Size: 3.7 GB
I was getting an error (A problem occurred while extracting some files. Check available space on your computer and the write privileges on the destination folder) when I started extracting the files.
Norton Internet Security on my PC was causing this issue. I was able to resolve the issue by doing this:
Open Norton.
Go to Settings> Computer tab> under Antivirus and SONAR Exclusions, look for ‘Clear file IDs excluded during scans’ and then click Clear All.
Then press Network tab> under Intrusion Prevention, look for ‘Exclusion List’ and then click on Purge.
Thanks for the update, good to hear that. We do suggest temporarily turning off any firewalls or antivirus programs as the very first step of the download instructions above.
Dear pro design,
I also get the message “you do not have permission to access these files on this server..” I cannot seem to find another place to download Design and Web Prem trial? Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.
J
Hello Jessica, we don’t have any other suggestions other than this list of recommendations.
Sorry, there are no other safe or legal places to download these trials or this software except directly from Adobe’s servers (e.g., here via these direct download links).
@Jessica,
You can try this:
Antivirus and Firewall should be turned off temporarily until you have finished downloading and extracting the CS6 Design & Web Prem files.
Go to http://www.adobe.com.
In the upper right corner, click on Sign in and use your Adobe ID and password. If you don’t have an Adobe ID then you need to create one.
Then on the top under the ‘Download’ tab, click on Product trials.
Under the Adobe Acrobat XI Pro click on Try, keep this browser’s tab open.
Open another browser tab and go to https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html (this page)
Download CS6 Design & Web Prem File 1 (DesignWebPremium_CS6_LS16.exe) and File 2 (DesignWebPremium_CS6_LS16.7z).
After downloading both of the files, click on DesignWebPremium_CS6_LS16.exe to extract the files, usually into a new directory on your Desktop.
Look for the set-up.exe file within that directory and run that to start the product installation.
Good day! I experience an “Access Denied” page when I try to click any download link. Even though I applied all the rules you said, it won’t solve the problem. What should I do?
Hey Xandre, if you’re following the download instructions very carefully but not getting the links to work for you, then try a different web browser, computer, or Internet connection – or clear your browser cache/cookies and try again – or try a different Adobe ID login – or simply wait some hours before trying it again, as occasionally folks can get locked out from the servers (especially after a failed or aborted download).
@S Malik – Thanks, those directions will work very well too.
Thank you! I will try those you have said, and hopefully after that I can now download Adobe software without using their download manager.
It looks like many tried to DL the packages without REALLY trying to understand the steps, which are indeed intricate and do require extra attention. So no use repeatedly wailing about “Access Denied” without seriously following the steps.
Took me quite a while too trying to PROPERLY set the session cookie before downloading finally succeeded. These DLs do take a long time so a stable browser is needed for the DL process. In my case Firefox was preferred over IE, which also has its little DL manager to monitor progress.
Third party DL managers may not help but instead complicate things. Same thing goes to Adobe’s DL Manager.
Also, the usual “click to download” action may NOT work and will require manually copy-pasting the DL links to the browser. A little painful, but necessary.
However, NIS does NOT need to be deactivated to commence the DLs. Since DLs can take a long time (in my case, 6-7 hours) it’s not advisable to turn off firewall software like NIS… although, I have not tested the downloaded packages for any additional problem by commencing the installation process.
Is there Traditional Chinese edition of Adobe Creative Suite 6 for downloading ? Could you give me the URL?
Yes Tom, if you take the English links above, copy and change the Language Set designation to “LS3” near the end, then you will get the Chinese, Taiwanese and Korean language trials (where available for certain tools) for Adobe CS6…
Similarly, changing it to “LS6” at the end (instead of LS16, LS4, or LS7) will give the Eastern European language set (Czech, Polish, Russian, Romanian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Hungarian) for Creative Suite 6.
@Joanie
You have to sign in to Adobe or create a Adobe ID. The link is under “very important instructions” towards the top of this page.
My name is Alex, I’m from Russia, I’m trying download something and I can’t, why, last time I downloaded and now I can’t, message is – I’m in wrong location and can’t download! Thank you.
Hi Alexey, what is the exact error message you’re getting? If you google that then you’ll likely find the answer…
These links all continue to work fine on our end.
The links are down. Is there another way to reupload it?
No, they’re all working fine.
I get that Adobe wants to make more money by eliminating CDs and making all of us move to the Cloud version of their product – which, by the way, will be come obsolete the moment we stop paying for it – but I already own CS5 and I need to download a copy of it – WHERE in the world can I download a copy??? Everything points to CS6 or broken links to CS5 downloads – nicely done Adobe. Now, for those of us who have bought your product with frequency – can you please give me a VALID link to download CS5 Premium???? I’ve already spent 1/2 a day look for it – I need a link to the direct download not a bunch of content that takes me to CS6.
Thanks!!!!!
It’s not a problem Carlos – just use either our CS5 direct download links or our set of CS5.5 direct download links, depending on which version of Creative Suite 5 you own.
@ ProDesignTools
Sorry for long time. A message is
( Access Denied
You don’t have permission to access “…/AdobeProducts/DRWV/11_5/win32/Dreamweaver_11_5_LS1.exe” on this server.

I used any browsers, problem one, nothing!
OK, that doesn’t have anything to do with a wrong location – you should definitely be able to download the CS6 free trials here, just follow the suggestions on this list.
@Alexey
I tried just two browsers, and after a few attempts, the downloads eventually commenced.
Why can’t you? Why don’t you even bother re-reading and understanding the instructions carefully in the first place??
A reader was asking about the InDesign CS6 Server… So here are the direct links to download the free trial for Adobe InDesign CS6 Server (Windows or Mac OS):
InDesign CS6 Server – Windows (485 MB): File 1 File 2
English
InDesign CS6 Server – Mac (629 MB): File 1
English
I also had the access denied message come up several times, but I finally got it to work. Just follow the step-by-step instructions above – you may have to read them more than once! My understanding is that you have to log into your Adobe account through the linked page above, then hit the ‘Download now’ button on that same page. This button downloads the files for the Download Manager. When the files are downloaded, a pop-up window will appear asking you to install the program, but do NOT install it, just close the pop-up window instead. You can then proceed to download the CS6 files directly from this page. My problem now is that I can start the download all right, but it times out after downloading just 2GB of the 6.2GB in the Master Collection. I’m using Chrome with wi-fi connection. Estimated download time: 2hrs. I’ll keep trying!
Hey there Susan, thanks for your comments. It sounds like you’ve got the process down. But if you’re still getting incomplete downloads, try without Wi-Fi – and see this previous exchange with Martin.
