I couldn’t download the Master Collection as it kept stopping at 2GB, but I managed to download and install the individual components. However, I have trouble installing Edge Animate. There seems to be no executable file available to complete the installation. I can get the files extracted onto my Desktop (in two folders: deploy and payloads) but where do I go from there?
Glad to hear you made some progress Susan. Yes, installing the individual apps separately will recreate much of what you get in the suite, but not all. For example, Adobe Dynamic Link is available only within a suite edition – you can’t get it by installing Premiere Pro or After Effects standalone.
About Edge Animate – you are right, it seems there is no setup program in the Adobe Edge Animate 1.5 package for Windows above, and we are looking into if there is any way to install it standalone using these direct download links…
In the meantime, Edge Animate (either the 1.5 [free] or CC [new] versions) can be installed using the new Creative Cloud Desktop App, which you can download first using our Adobe CC Direct Links. That may be the only way to do it.
For all other tools above, there is no problem downloading, installing, and running them individually using the direct links we’ve posted.
Trying download for iPad, still doesn’t work. To Mac and to PC

I couldn’t get this working in Chrome on OSX, but worked straight away on Safari.
I bought CS6. I downloaded everything into my download files. I have followed all instructions, including leaving Lightroom open. I cannot find a list of files. Every time I double-click a file, it just asks what program to open. I have not been able to make anything happen.

Hi, thanks for this great post first of all. I managed to download the Master Collection but it said that something went wrong while installing Photoshop, and now Photoshop can’t open. What should I do? Should I uninstall the Master Collection and reinstall it? I tried downloading the Photoshop file separately but I got the same problem.

Hi Mag, what exact message or messages did it give you? Knowing those would be essential to being able to help solve the problem… Googling the exact text usually turns up a solution.
You could also try running Adobe’s Creative Suite Cleaner Tool to remove everything, then reboot and try again.

i’ve tried three computers, different ip address, nothing works, i don’t know what to do.
I want to ask, why can’t i download now, last time i downloaded everything and now, door is closed, what’s happened, have you changed something?! I don’t have downloads to Adobe, because it installed after download, you guys are great.
Sorry you’re now having trouble Alexey, but we haven’t changed anything at all…
Generally, if you just carefully follow the step-by-step download instructions given in the article above then you should be fine. Usually people get ‘access denied’ if they don’t follow those directions.
Then if you have any difficulties, try a different web browser, computer, or Internet connection (avoid Wi-Fi). We also put together a list of download tips, if you get stuck.
But please see #5 on that list if it seems you are “locked out”! (which can happen sometimes, especially after an aborted download)
Hello, I am installing CS6 D&W Premium on a Windows 7 64-bit system. I am at a window that offers me the install of Flash, AIR, & lots of good stuff. There is an Illustrator CS6, and an Illustrator CS6 (64 bit). Similarly, there is a Photoshop & a Photoshop (64 bit). Simple question: do I only want the 64 bit versions? I’m also curious as to why both are there. Thank you.
Yes Mark, it may give you the option to install both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the CS6 tools, but since you’re on a 64-bit system you typically would only want (and use) the latter. That’s what we have here.
I am trying to download the CS6 Design Standard for Mac – I click on the link and it says that I do not have the permissions to access the server? Need it asap! Thank you in advance.

Please help me about downloading CS6.
i am registered and then sign in to adobe.com, and the link which came on my mail was confirmed.
i am trying the same things (below) a few days, but always get the SAME message “access denied.”
what’s the matter with your download web server in our country that i can’t connect on it or specifically can’t open the dialog box to download.
Before a day i once did it (to open a dialog box to download) but i stopped it at the same time.
i wish to repeat it the day later but NO SUCCESS!!! i get this message for all of the products from this page.
I use mozilla firefox, win7 x86,
i always get the same message.
i have read all instructions that i have to uncheck the box with pop up block and i unchecked it.
i also turned off win7 defender but nothing helped.
1: i sign in at adobe.
2: i use this link above from mozilla favorites, such as open in a new tab that i maintain a sign in.
WHAT TO DO, are there any good people or experts to help me, or what’s the main reason for this inconvenience. Will we try your appreciated product in our “third world countries?”
Or are there already by downloads any restriction of adobe’s system requirements such as to weak graphics cards and more, but i think that’s not a problem because i one time opened a mozilla download box.

Hi SabKo, it’s nothing to do with your country. Sometimes after a failed or aborted download (as you said you stopped one), this can happen – you get seemingly “locked out” from Adobe’s servers…
Usually, the only solution is… time. Wait a while before trying again, and then follow the instructions in the article to start over.
Read #5 on this list of download suggestions to see what we’re talking about. That list also contains other things you can try.

i will wait to catch the right time as you suggested and to see if the time heals, yeah.

I have a copy of CS6 Extended, will my serial number work with the CS6 you have available to download?
I have misplaced my disc (silly considering I managed to find my earlier version CS3) :-) …or do you have a CS6 Extended I can download?

Firstly, thank you for this great website! I am trying to download a trial version of Photoshop CS6. I managed to successfully download the two files via your link above. Well, I think I was successful. The files I have are 1.17MB and 840MB. My problem is that the 1.17MB file didn’t save with an extension. I assume this is the .exe file. So I renamed it to have a .exe extension.
But when I then double click on it, I get the error “A problem occurred while extracting the archive. Please try downloading the Adobe Photoshop CS6 again”. It took me 10 hours the first time to download so I really don’t want to download the files again if I can avoid it. Do you have any suggestions?

Yes Bianca, sometimes your browser (especially IE) may drop the “.EXE” file extension and you just need to rename it to add it back.
For that “problem occurred while extracting” message, see this previous discussion for some suggestions…
Then if you still have any issues, it’s possible you have an incomplete or corrupt download (these are large files and 10 hours is a long time) – so you could try redownloading with a different browser, computer, or faster Internet connection (no Wi-Fi as it’s slower and often unreliable).
You could also use a download manager (your own) like IDM to try and speed the process.

Hello, I have a problem. I tried to install Adobe Illustrator CS6. I downloaded all two files, put into one folder and then tried to install. At the beginning there was everything all right, until I accepted to which folder it will be installed. An error “popped up” – 101. It said, I don’t have enough space, or I don’t have the permission to install the program. So I tried to install it to another one. But still it was the 101 error.
So I went to the Adobe Download Assistant, and tried to install the Illustrator trial version. It ended downloading, but it said there is an error, and it can’t be extracted, so I have to download it again. I remember that some time ago I tried to download the Illustrator CS3 trial with the Adobe Download Assistant, and there was the same error…
Anyone have any idea why this happens?
I apologize for my grammar mistakes. Please help. My school doesn’t allow their students to download the design applications which they have on school computers. If we want to do our homework, we have to buy them, or install it in an illegal way. We can use the school computers, but only when the professor that has access to one of the computer classes in the school. There are not many computers, so some students have to bring their own for lessons. Also, often when the professor is in the school, we have other lessons. …And we don’t have money to buy all licenses.

Hey Julie, there should also be an option to start or run a free trial of the product, if you haven’t run a CS6 tryout before.
In other words, skip the screen where it asks you for a serial number or license key, and choose the free trial option instead.
I bought CS6 Design Standard on a CD. I have a Mac Air with no CD drive. I put the CD in a MacBook to share the drive and all went well with the installation until it said ‘insert CD Design Standard 1’ – but this was the disk that was already installed. I took it out of the MacBook and put it back in but it didn’t make any difference, I had to quit the installation. How do I get past this problem?
Well, you shouldn’t need a CD/DVD or disc drive at all to use these CS6 direct links… You just download your product here to your new computer, install it, and then enter your valid serial key to activate the product permanently on your system.
But if you happen to get an “Insert disc” (DVD / CD) message when installing a Creative Suite download, see this forum recommendation to hopefully take care of that.

hello, i am trying to download photoshop cs6 onto my laptop which has windows 7. i was able to successfully download dreamweaver, however when i try running photoshop a window pops up saying, “the file archive part of photoshop is missing, you need all parts in the same folder to extract photoshop.”
what can i do? the second file link is much more memory than the first and doesn’t download fully, so i am left with only file 1 as an option.
Well Xavier, you need both files in their entirety – just File 1 by itself definitely won’t do it.
Download both files with a solid/fast Internet connection (avoid Wi-Fi), then put them both in the same folder and run File 1 (the .EXE).
See this list of suggestions if you’re having further trouble.
I am trying to download Photoshop CS6 for Windows. The download always stops before it reaches 100mb and says “Unknown Network Error”. I believe that I’ve followed all your instructions. Any ideas what the problem might be?
Sorry to hear that Becky. It’s not the CS6 links or the download files, they all are fine (just tested). Can you try another Internet connection, computer, and/or web browser?
Try not to use Wi-Fi as it can be slower and unreliable, and these are large files…
