1. Hey! So the adobe error 501 was showing when I was installing Photoshop. After checking the solution on the official Adobe page, they said to end the process for the reported file, but I don’t know which file to end task in because there is no error summary provided. On other pages it was shown to clear all the apps and install fresh. I tried that but still the same error showing. Also the InDesign app which was downloaded before isn’t uninstalling from the control panel, as its showing “specified product is not installed on this machine”. I tried rebooting several times. I am helpless.

   • Hello Anannya, which version of Photoshop are you talking about and where are you downloading it from?

     Also, what are the specifications of the computer you want to install it on? (operating system and version, etc).

Hola buenas, me han dado la licencia de adobe para instlarme en concreto photoshop y illustrator y la cosa es de que en photoshop no me ha dado ningún problema para descargármelo pero en cambio el programa illustrator me dice que no es compatible con el Java que tengo, he intentado actualizarme el Java pero me dice que mi dispisitvo ya no se actualiza a esa actualización porque es antigua?
   En este caso que puedo hacer?

3. Tengo la versión mas nueva la que me han dado la licencia para descargarme los programas con el adobe no tengo problema es de los programas no son compatibles con mi Java y me dice que me tengo que descargar una versión de Java antigua y esta es demasiado antigua y no me deja instalarla

   • Sorry, that doesn’t make sense because Adobe removed the Java requirement from the Creative Cloud products in 2013.

     So it must be a different (and much older) version that you are referring to.

4. No entiendo a lo que te refieres yo digo que el que me pasa es de que mi ordenador necesita un java antiguo para instalarse el illustrator y mi ordenador no me deja instalarme el java compatible antiguo para que me pueda instalar el Illustrator

   No hay alguna manera de que ne lo pueda instalar? Porque todos lo programas los tengo al dia y son bastante nuevos

   • It is not a new or recent version. The last release of Adobe Illustrator to require Java was CS6 from 2012.

   I’m trying to install the CC 2018 apps but I keep getting an issue that my browser or operating system is outdated (fresh Windows 11 install) – do you perhaps know a solution?

   • Adobe is not saying much yet on support for Windows 11 – so it’s unclear how well older releases will run on it:

     Using Adobe Applications on Windows 11

     But if you’re getting this error:

     “Update required: Your browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system.”

     or this error:

     “The installation cannot proceed as the installer file may be damaged. Download the installer file again.”

     …then extract the files, turn off the Internet or Wi-Fi, and try to install the software again.

     I indeed was getting the “Update required: Your browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system.” but turning off wifi did the trick! :)

6. I updated my OS to Windows 11 and I was struggling to install Photoshop 2019, which I had working perfectly on Windows 10. I tried everything I found on the web and nothing worked. Finally It occurred to me to turn off my internet connection and try to install it that way… and it worked.

   • Thanks, José! Yes, indeed – if you’re getting this error:

     “Update required: Your browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system.”

     or this error:

     “The installation cannot proceed as the installer file may be damaged. Download the installer file again.”

     …then extract the files, turn off your Internet connection / disconnect the Wi-Fi, and try to install the software again.

     That usually works.

   I tried to install premiere elements 22 on my Mac but every time, error 113 appeared.
   I tried many things but nothing worked.
   Do you have any suggestions ?

8. Hey, when i opened to install adobe premiere pro cc 2019 or any other adobe collection, i get blank installation options and the logo it doesn’t load or install; stack there for hours.

   • Sorry, not sure – never heard that one before… Did you receive any error(s) or other messages?

     You can also try this:

     1. Uninstall all Adobe apps using standard OS procedures.
     2. Download & run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, remove all apps.
     3. Reboot your computer (don’t skip this step).
     4. Start again from the top by reinstalling the Creative Cloud tools you want.

   Can you please tell me which version of PS Elements I should use?

   • The latest release, Elements 2023, supports macOS 13 Ventura.

     Older releases of Elements were not officially supported on Ventura.
