Hi, I have an Adobe account but still, appears the Resume message saying I have to register and then try again, and, still, I appear as connected. It is weird. Besides, the only version I can access to is CS5. Can anyone help me, please?
Greetings Carla, that does happen occasionally with Adobe’s site… Try waiting a bit and then check out Kate’s earlier comments, the things she tried, and the series of replies which follow – and hopefully that should help.
Hi, I downloaded the CS4 Photoshop Trial and was installing it when it asked me to insert a disk, it will not let me continue without it. Seeing as this is a download why should i need a disk, and how to i fix this problem? I even went under custom installation and unchecked everything but adobe photoshop cs4! Please help!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Tim, if you’re getting an “insert disc” message, please see these earlier comments and responses with Derrick – thanks.
@ProDesignTools
mmmm, thanks much for the help but unfortunately I am a Mac user, if you would happen to have the Audition 3 link for Mac I would very much appreciate it.
Thanks again
Sorry Rocio, Adobe Audition 3 was not available on the Mac!
Audition CS5.5 (a.k.a. Audition 4) is actually the first release to support both platforms.
However, as with most Adobe products, you can use the Windows version on a Mac if you run it with dual-boot or virtualization software like Apple Boot Camp, Parallels Desktop, or VMWare Fusion. Keep in mind though there will be considerations on additional costs, extra memory needed, reduced performance, and slower workflow.
Hope this helps!
@ProDesignTools
Thanks so much, that was a great help
Thanks, I successfully downloaded English versions.
And then, where can I download Japanese versions?
I thought that i have to change a part of url (to LS2 or something else…), but I couldn’t find a valid url.
If you know something about this, please help!
Yes Hiiro, for the Japanese language, try changing any LS1’s in the English versions to LS2’s within the URL… Everything else should be the same.
(The LS7’s should continue to work okay for Japan unchanged – they are more universal by including more different languages in the bundles.)
Hope this helps!
@ProDesignTools
Thank you for your reply!
I could download the CS4 trials in Japanese.
But how about CS3?
For example, the Mac CS3 Fireworks file name is “ADBEFWKSCS3_WWE.dmg”.
But “ADBEFWKSCS3_LS2.dmg” is not a valid url.
LS7 does not work either.
You’re right Hiiro. So for the direct download links to the Adobe CS3 trials in Japanese, you just change “_WWE” to “_JPL” in the url’s, where applicable.
If you want the Acrobat Pro trial, then change “_efg” within the filename to “_ja_JP”.
But any files with “_ALP” or “_MLP” in the names already do contain the Japanese language inside, so those can stay as is.
@ProDesignTools
Hello,
Thank you so much for taking the time clarify. I managed to install CS3 InDesign but I still wasn’t able to open any of the files saved in CS4.
I was wondering though your system of opening these programs. How many times are users able to open the same trial program and version; i.e., when the CS3 InDesign 30-day trial ends, can I install it a second time? Or is it once for each?
The reason I’m asking is I’m going to shut down the CS3 I installed even though the trial hasn’t ended to try to install the CS5.
Yes, InDesign CS5 or CS5.5 will be able to open CS4 files no problem, whether saved in IDML or not.
To answer your other question Alex – an Adobe trial will run fully for 30 calendar days on a given computer, and that’s it. Reinstalling it on the same system won’t change that… So you could just buy the product and that would work permanently of course. Or if you want, check out the CS5 trials or CS5.5 trials first.
Good luck and stop back anytime!
Thank you for taking the time – and for the site, you’re brill!!
@ProDesignTools
It works!!! Thank you so much!
Great post! Thanks! I wish you could provide also links for torrent files. The files are huge. But thanks again for sharing! :)
Thanks BlackBook, but you will never find torrents on or via this site; it’s a bad idea… We only provide the direct links to download the original trials from Adobe’s own file servers, nowhere else.
Don’t trust Adobe torrents, most are backdoored or worse.
Valid point about the file sizes, but better to be safe than sorry… That’s also why Adobe typically wraps these files with a download manager or download assistant when you access them elsewhere – but here we give the DDL’s and you can use your own DLM if you like, or if size is an issue.
Your link to download Indesign CS4 takes me to Adobe’s site in which the ONLY option is 5.5… I need a trial copy of 4 so I can create two XML files to open in CS3 – what a pain in the rump!!#@
Can you give me the REAL link to download CS4, as you say on your site?
OH and I need the MAC english version
Hi Dinatale, actually these are the real links and they all do work OK, but occasionally some folks have problems with Adobe’s site…
Try waiting a bit and then check out Kate’s earlier comments, the things she tried, and the series of replies which follow – and hopefully that will help you out.
OK, it is installing! YAY… however after I put in my serial number, it is asking me about the upgrade that it can not find on my system. I don’t know how to fix it. Can you help? Or do I need to call Adobe?
Hey Kim, it must be you had purchased an upgrade version of one of these products… An upgrade has two serial numbers – the new one you buy, plus that of the older version you already have. In which case, you can still use this in trial mode for 30 days – but to activate the software permanently you will also need the serial number of that prior release you originally had.
If you can’t find it or no longer have it, Adobe could be able to help you with that – especially if you purchased your software directly from them, in which case you can find all your license keys in your online account there.
thanks a lot !!! there are not many places were i can fiind this !! thanks !!
The links you are posting here in order to download CS4 are simply not working. They only direct you to the Adobe website to download CS5.
Do you physically have CS4 that you can share, or can this site only direct us to the Adobe website??
Not true Tommy – hundreds of people download these CS3 and CS4 trials successfully every day. And it wouldn’t be allowed by Adobe for us to share “copies” of this software, plus we would never do it besides… The only safe, legitimate, and legal way to do it is with the unique direct links to the original files that reside on Adobe’s download servers. Please just check some of the comments above if you’re having trouble, thanks.
@ProDesignTools
Had the same problem when I first bought the program. I called them and they did an unlock sequence, Thanks for this!!
@ProDesignTools
Tommy… Have the CS5 start to download and hit pause on the Adobe downloader. Then click on the link and download. If it downloads without the .exe extension (which I had on IE and AOL), just put on the “.exe” when you save the file.
Once both are downloaded, click on the .exe file, and make sure they are in the same folder location. Mine downloaded directly to my desktop and I was able to install. Took me two days to figure it out, but now I am up and running! :)
Thanks Kim… We have the six-step download instructions above, but it always helps to put it another way.
Hi there, I managed to download the trial version of Illustrator CS4 from your link, and installed it on to my computer – but the moment I try to start up the program, its keeps saying that “the licensing for this product has expired”…
Any ideas on what I am doing wrong, or what I did wrong when downloading or installing? Or more importantly, what I can do to get it to work?
I work on a Mac…any help would be great!…thanks!!
Hello Kirst, have you ever run any Adobe trial containing that CS4 product on the same computer before? If so, you’re out of luck for that – but can do a CS5.5 trial instead…
If not, see this earlier comment and the responses which follow it – or try the suggestions in this help article.
Hi Prodesign
Thank you so so so very much for your help…yes you were correct, I had already run an adobe trial of illustrator…which is why it would not work, but that I could counteract that problem just as you mentioned by installing cs5.5 creative suite…and now I have another 30 days of illustrator and photoshop….yey! thanks again.
You’re welcome Kirst, glad it worked out to get the latest trial!
When I try to set up and install the CS4 Trial, it gives me this kind of message:
“Session has dependencies that cannot be satisfied.
The installer database is invalid: please re-install the product from the original media.”
Greetings Chris. see the solution proposed by this Adobe Forum thread, and hopefully that will fix your problem.
Hi. I am downloading the trial version of InDesign CS3, but my connection here at home is very very slow.
Would it be a problem if I cancel the download in the middle of it, turn off the computer and try again all the steps with my office wireless connection?
Or maybe it would appear as I had already downloaded it? Thank you very much.
I mean retrying the download with a faster connection but the same computer
Hi Laura, you can download it as many times as you want, that’s not an issue. However, if the download doesn’t complete in one shot on one computer, normally you are out of luck and have to start over again – there is nothing to pick up these direct links where they left off.
However, if you use a Download Manager (there are several freely-available good DLM’s) – and only if you do – then you could stop and start again as much as you wish.
And just as aside, it’s better not to use a Wi-Fi connection if you can avoid it for downloading these large files – they are prone to drop-offs. It may work okay but a direct (wired) connection is generally more reliable, and faster in speed as well.
Hope this helps!
Hello, I have the serial code for Adobe CS4 from a version I have purchased. I cannot find my second disc to download it to my computer, so can I download one of these versions and use my key code?
Stacy – yes, absolutely – that’s why we’re here and they’re here!
I cannot open two of the files. What do I do?
The first and third files won’t open, do I need them or can I just work with file 2 alone? If I do need them all, how can I get them to open? I had to download bitzipper for file 2 but it won’t work on the 1st and 3rd files.
You must be using Internet Explorer. As mentioned in the article above, IE has the tendency to drop the extension from these downloaded executable files… So just add the “.exe” back manually (at the end), by renaming the files you cannot open.
You shouldn’t need an unzip program. The .exe files that are linked above will take care of that, when they’re working with the proper extension.
Lastly, be sure you run the “extra content” installer last (the .exe with “_Cont_” in its name). That’s it!
