Yay So I got the files to extract some how now I try to run setup it says Checking System Profile and in awhile it says SETUP ERROR : SETUP HAS ENCOUNTERED AN ERROR AND CANNOT CONTINUE. CONTACT ADOBE CUSTOMER SUPPORT FOR ASSISTANCE..HELP PLEASE
Brandy – haven’t seen that CS4 error message before, but a quick Google search turned up the following two pages with ideas to fix it: here and here.
HEY:) – So I fixed the error last night all I did was open Windows Task Manager – show processes from all users – and I deleted everything that had something to do with install and then I closed Task Manager – Ran the setup file as an admin and it worked! Adobe After Effects CS4 which I downloaded from this website (prodesigntools.com) really works guys! so don’t think it’s fake or anything! I am soo happy now:D Thanks Pro Design For All Your help.

Help! I downloaded both files for Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 for Windows. But now I can’t open the 7z file! What shall I do?
Hi Oscar, thanks for your question. For Windows you don’t actually open the .7z file – you only touch or run the .exe file…

But I downloaded the trial for Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 and there was no .exe file there. Where do I get it?
@Oscar – There are two files to download above for the Premiere Pro CS4 product trial for Windows – a .exe and a .7z file. They both need to be downloaded into the same directory, and then once they’re both downloaded you run the .exe.

Hi again! I need Adobe Dynamic Link CS4 for my upcoming project to link after effects with adobe premiere CS4. But I can’t find it anywhere! Can you put up a link or something? Or is it another way to get it?
Hello again @Oscar, thanks for your good question. Adobe Dynamic Link is only available as part of a CS4 or CS5 suite edition – so to get it, you’d need to download and run a trial of one of the suites…
In your case, you’d choose CS4 or CS5 Production Premium – because that’s the only one that contains After Effects and Premiere Pro. We also have the CS5 direct download links available.
To purchase your suite after the trial is finished, your best bet is to get both CS4 and CS5 for one price. And to buy the Adobe Production Premium suite is cheaper than to buy After Effects and Premiere Pro separately anyway. Hope this helps.
hello~ my hard disk died recently and i was trying to get my Adobe CS4 WP onto my new computer – however, i had the disc but not a disc drive. all i needed was just to download the main file, enter my code and i was good to go!

Thank you Kirara for sharing how it worked out for you, and glad the file links helped! We get a lot of disk crashes and computer upgraders finding their way here for the same reason.
HELP !! I can’t print out the PDFs I made with the Adobe InDesign CS4 Version. Can’t even save the document as EPS. And a printer spooler file it won’t do either due “to unknown error”.
Is there something wrong with the trial version? Printing disabled?

Hi auerbach, in general Adobe trials are fully-functional – and if you download them from here, they are complete, genuine, and safe… Certainly the printing is enabled and should work.
So it’s probably something in your local setup. This thread may be helpful for the issue.

I did everything right, it’s just when i try to open it up, it says the trial has already expired. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that hasn’t worked either. Please help!
Hi JD, sorry to hear it’s not running for you… Adobe only allows one trial period per computer for a given product release. So you’d get that type of message if you (or anyone else) ever had that product running as a trial before on that computer, even for a day. Note that if it’s a suite, then all applications within that suite are marked as trialed – and none of them (or another suite containing any of them) could be tried out again.
However, once you get a major new Adobe release, everything is reset for the new version – so even if you could no longer run a trial of CS4, you can definitely still run a trial of CS5 or CS5.5 (see our CS5 direct download links or CS5.5 direct download links). Hope this helps.

After multiple phone calls with Adobe yesterday, I was forced to find alternatives. I had the install backed up, I have a legit #. I got a new imac and the install wouldnt work. Adobe flat out said “no” to giving me access to a CS4 trial, even tho I am an Adobe Solutions Partner. I still find it very hard to accept they would treat us like that. As a printer, we need to run multiple versions for our clients and other equipment. Adobe’s pristine reputation with me has been tarnished.
After reading your instructions and downloading your links a thought came to me: log in to adobe, begin your download, but try mine again. That’s all I needed to get mine to work. Thought this may be helpful for someone else. Cheers~
@Soba, @Dawn – thank you for your thoughtful comments, and sorry to hear you were having difficulties Dawn… For better or worse, Adobe has historically had a policy of not selling or providing further trial downloads of previous releases once the new release comes out. They anticipate folks having their original installation CD/DVDs or downloaded files, and/or backups thereof, although this doesn’t always work out in practice. So it’s a debatable policy but when we’ve inquired about it, the answer always comes back to having limited resources available and wanting to focus on and move forward with the latest and greatest release.
As you’ve seen here, Adobe does still keep the previous versions available on their servers for archival purposes, particularly so that the download links that were sent out via email when customers purchased the products via instant download will continue to work… But outside of that, they don’t really promote the older downloads and their existence isn’t widely known. So we’re here trying to help fill that need when it arises. Thanks again and glad it helped you out.
PS – Should footnote that there are two CS4 products that Adobe is still effectively selling, and those are After Effects CS4 and Premiere Pro CS4 – basically because the CS5 versions require a 64-bit system which not everybody has yet, so somewhat a special case.
HELP… Have already downloaded 5.1 gig of cs4 master collection but had not signed in to adobe so when i re-tried the link i had to sign in to adobe. I have done this and opened your page to continue the download and i get re directed to a page from adobe that tells me to sign in and my download will continue but in the top left corner i am already signed in …… any ideas, i am running leopard on a powerbook g4 1.5ghz 2gb ram. any help would be much appreciated

Ok. But I already have After Effects and Premiere CS4 so when I’m going to install it, can you like unselect After Effects, Premiere and the other stuff except Adobe Dynamic Link, if you see what I mean?
Greetings Oscar – have never tried that, but it might work. Typically when you install an Adobe suite, you can specify exactly which components you want on, and which ones you don’t. But whether Dynamic Link will work with the standalone versions of applications, instead of the bundled ones, is hard to say – the best thing to do is try. Set a Restore point first and then you can always uninstall later. Also study this thread for more background about Dynamic Link with the suites. But whether it succeeds or not, after the trial period is up, you may need to buy the CS4/CS5 Production Premium suite for Dynamic Link to continue working.
Hello.
Is there anyway to get the old Macromedia products? I have my license codes, but cant find trial downloads for any of the version 6 & 7 studio mx & studio mx 2004. I just need the mac .dmg’s for dreamweaver & fireworks if the full studio products are not available.
The ftp site you posted above doesn’t contain anything I can use. I have a feeling I might be hosed.

Hi Paul, thanks for your question. We don’t have any of the old Macromedia downloads here, and if you’ve already checked through everything available on the Adobe FTP site linked above, then unfortunately there may not be many other good options… You could try contacting Adobe Customer Support, but they may not be able to go back that far either. You might be able to find an old product on eBay or Amazon Marketplace, but be very careful about buying or installing anything you don’t know or trust – be certain it’s authentic. Your best bet at this point instead of trying to find and use dated software is probably just to upgrade.
I have logged into the Adobe site and have tried to run the three file links for the Adobe Creative Suite CS4. Each time I am taken to the Resume your download site. Clicking the links takes me nowhere.
Anyone got any ideas as to why I cannot get the download for CS4 Creative Suite to work?

Hi! I downloaded the two files for adobe cs3 master collection. When i double click on the first .exe file, it says that “the file archive for adobe cs3 master collection is missing”, what’s wrong and how can i fix it. The second .exe file opens correctly but it is only the extra content. Please help!
Hi Willy, thanks for your question and you’re absolutely right – there is also a .7z file necessary for two of the CS3 suites (Master Collection and Production Premium only), and those inadvertantly got left out of the table above… But they are in there now, so you can try again and download that other required file – our apologies!

Paul, This might not be what you are looking for but, I just happen to have an old copy of Fireworks and Dreamweaver MX for Mac that I no longer use. They are not the 2004 versions but, instead, were released in 2002. These are both the original media CDs. I would be happy to send them to you if you would like. They would, of course, not work with your 2004 numbers but they would be similar in function.

Hi again! Thank you for including the .7z file for CS3 master collection. The thing is i downloaded it and then ran the .exe file but it says that there is a problem, that i should download the file again. The files i downloaded are 1.04 mb for the .exe file and 300 kb for the .7z file, are those their sizes really? Can i ask what is the size of the .7z file cause 300kb doesn’t sound right. Help me out please!
Hello again Willy, the sizes of the two download files for CS3 Master Collection in English for Windows are as follows: 1.0 MB for the .exe file and 3.0 GB for the .7z file.
If you’re not able to get the full 3.0 GB download for the .7z file, the product won’t be complete and installation won’t be able to succeed. There may be an snafu somewhere with your Adobe login or cookies or Internet connection or browser or PC. Would suggest reviewing the instructions and comments above to reset or change some of those things and see if you can find better success downloading the large .7z file. Thanks for your question.

Yes indeed, very generous, and I would love to use them. I have license keys for MX AND MX 2004. My Mac install CD’s have been lost or misplaced through the years. I just need to update my website, and I cant afford the expense of the two CS5 products right now. I would even send them back to you after I install on my machine. I’ll just make a new Time Machine image, and stow it away.
